My headcanon about where Ashton and Fearne stand right now

If the end of the world was not happening and everyone was not in fight/flight mode, it would be obvious to everyone how in love Ashton is - the way they look at her, constantly seeking her out, the way their voice softens only for her, how he makes it clear She is the only one he understands, "they (Gloamglut) would come back for You", too afraid to spell it out but too desperate for her not to kiss her when they get the chance, seeking out connection to the Titans that bind them, debating the gods with everyone but at the end of the day looking for her, wanting her to be everywhere he is, the last thing they think about and the last thing their rough, painful hands feel before sleep - it's everything but saying it out loud, too afraid to fuck it up, to scare her away, to not be worthy

I feel like Fearne has grown up very sheltered and desperate for freedom - so She has developed an easy confidence about flirting and being sexually open, but real, romantic feelings scare her, shes afraid to be caged in and allow herself to admit to anything more serious than a tryst. Even admitting to having "a Little crush" on them was a Big deal - and now it's developed, I feel like She tries hard not to allow herself to feel anything real, and that pressure will break soon in a way. Denial is the easiest way to justify kissing them back, sleeping together, flirting - its easier to not admit she might be in love for the first time in their life, but the urgency of the world ending and their lives being in danger will soon be too much and I hope her mask will fall and we will get a real conversation between them
