ATSV brainrot has commenced so here’s a spidersona! I had alot of fun playing around with color and wanted to do a more peacock spider inspired outfit design, with more technical elements (using graffiti cans as mini smoke bombs, incorporating actual spider eyes, etc) I had alot of fun!

I’m back!! I just started college and so now I can do an art dump on these Circe drawings I made as part of book annotations for my best friend, starting off with Circe and Prometheus!!

Working on some character concepts for a webcomic! I really love the idea of a Ghostbuster satire/ paranormal comedy :) Though currently unnamed, I wanted to create someone with very much a Rita from Penumbra/ Garcia from Criminal minds like character (really intelligent, loves bright colors, light up shoes, fun earrings, etc). I’m really excited to plan out her arc and overall use the concept as an opportunity to experiment with color and perspective :D

You know I don’t think I really understood how much representation can matter until I listened to the Sheridan tapes (great podcast btw). Even when watching media with characters I know I should feel represented by. But like... hearing sam (main character) start talking about being Demi actually made me tear up because that’s how I’ve felt for so long and I’ve been avoiding that label because I just want so bad to be normal, and it’s made me feel so validated. I don’t know if I’m saying this right, but being Demi is- hard. It’s not clear cut, it’s so hard to date, I’ve always felt so strange for it and hearing someone say the things I’ve been thinking out loud is just an experience.

Anyways if anyone wants to talk about being Demi, dm me. Cause like- I’d like to talk.

The way sam "thesheridantapes" bailey talks about his sexuality is making me emotional. I'm coming to terms with being on the ace spectrum lately and having that kind of representation is helping a lot, idk why this character in particular, maybe it's just the mental state I'm in right now, but I'm in tears everytime he talks about his asexuality, it's like I'm just realizing that it's Allowed, it's okay if I'm like this and I'm not missing out on anything. This is why representation is so fucking important.
