Everyone and their mother already talked about this shot but I just wanna say I'm screaming at the way they picked a picture of Eddie and Chris where Chris would be matching Buck. I love you costume and props department I love you.

I get having trust issues. I survived the SPN finale. But people are missing out on enjoying a really special moment in history right now. Buddie IS happening. It's happening right in front of our eyes. We have ample evidence it is. Let's savor it, please.

Also, the way some of you are afraid of buddie getting together is getting beyond ridiculous. People had more hope during s6 when all we had was a couch and a dream. Buck is literally bisexual. They are doing the physical distance forcing them to examine the relationship trope. Buck is in Eddie's house. And y'all still don't think it's gonna happen or want to drag it out until season 10. I'm so tired of this. They're both right there. For the love of God, close ao3 and find some faith in canon because our canon is Good.

Okay, so, I was talking to @the-tomorrow-road about this and then I got curious, so now you get stats. So, made a buddie supercut to make it easier for me to make videos, for reference my criteria was if a scene is about them I keep the whole scene, if the scene is not about them, they are just standing next to each other and not really interacting, I cut around them to just keep the moments they are in frame together, firefam scenes ended up staying in full because they usually react to each other even if they are not standing together. Season 2 has 1h23m26s, season 3 has 1h24m38s, season 4 has 01h08m31s (this one includes the crossover), season 5 has 53m19s, season 6 has 57m09s, and season 7 has 56m14s. 2a has 58m44s while 2b has 24m41s, which is kinda crazy, but under pressure kinda messes with the balance, and all of their scenes during the earthquake pretty much involve each other, but 2a has 9 episodes with buddie scenes, so averaging at around 6 and half minutes per episode, 2b has 7 averaging out at around a little over 3 minutes per episode, 3a has 47m18s and 3b has 37m19s, 3a has 9 episodes, so around 5 minutes per episode, 3b has 7, also around 5 minutes per episode, 4a has 41m49s while 4b has 26m 42m which is kinda crazy considering the shooting, but 4a (and crossover) has 9 episodes and 4b has 6 and both average out at a little over 4 minutes per episode, 5a has 33m46s while 5b has 19m33 seconds, 5a has 9 episodes so an average of a little over 3 and a half minutes, while 5b has 6 episodes so it averages out at around 4 minutes, 6a has 21m29s and 6b has 35m40s, 6a has 8 episodes with a 2 and half minutes average where 6b has 9 with an almost 4 minutes average, 7a has 31m22s and 7b has 24m52s, 7a has 5 episodes and 7b has 4 episodes and both average out at a little over 6 minutes. All seasons give me 6h43m19s and an average of around 4 and a half minutes of screentime per episode. Another stat is that s4 is the only season where every episode has at least one scene where they are standing in frame together. But the crazy thing here is that their average per episode went up a whole minute during season 7. In a reduced season. Where both of them were in relationships with other people through most of it. Math doesn't lie, dude, season 7 is buddie's lol (Also, considering the drop during 2b and the way that's the season Shannon is around, and the way the average doesn't drop when they are in relationships after that, sure there are other stuff happening for both of them but they cut their time in half then suddenly during s3 it was back to 5 minutes, mathematically I can make an argument that Buck has been filling Shannon's space in Eddie's life the whole time, which, we know, but math)

It's my birthday and I about cried from seeing this. Finishing Words to Live By and Right Place, Wrong Time are my New Year's resolutions and I just want to thank everyone who has ever read my work and supported me.

Famous Last Words - Gateskeeper

Here's the first of two books I did for the Renegade Publishing server's bound fic exchange! I bound @gates-keeper's fic Famous Last Words for @clovenhoofbindery 💜 I had a lot of fun designing the typeset for this, including footnotes of the various easter eggs included in the fic, and I also enjoyed designing the cover, which is based off Dean and Cas's soulmarks in the fic.

This bind was pretty smooth sailing, which was a nice change of pace for me! The biggest hitch came near the end, when I had some travel plans shift around and four available binding days turned into one 😅 I had originally intended there to be some embroidery on the spine of this that I had to do away with due to time constraints, but I actually like the look of the silver foil titling a lot so I think it all worked out! I enjoy the look of fully-bound books a lot, and I went with the dark blue to match the marbled lokta endpapers I bought for this project. Overall, I'm quite happy with this bind!

Hi, I just finished reading Famous Last Words and I loved it! I noticed that your sequel is unfinished. Have you abandoned it? I really want to read it, but I don't want my heart broken if it stays a WIP.

It’s not abandoned. I need to take a long break from Destiel, but I do plan on getting back to it soon. That being said, I did leave it in a very awkward place, so I’d suggest waiting for me to get around to posting the next couple of chapters before diving in.

Hi! First I just wanted to say that your writing is so good I love your fics SO much- I reread them pretty often and each time they’re just as amazing. I was actually just rereading Rumour Has It, and I was wondering if you’d ever have any plans to write a prequel to it about how Dean and Cas met and started dating in the first place? I know the story is over a year old, but I just thought I’d ask anyway :)

Thanks for all the love. To be honest, I've never really thought about a prequel for that story, but it will probably rattle in my brain now. I'm probably not going to get to it this century though. I have so many fics I need to finish and I just moved so I'm way behind on everything. But who knows?

"Lesser Known Fics"

In April, I had a flight of inspiration that turned into a twitter party where everyone shared Destiel/DeanCas fics they think deserve more eyes/kudos/comments/exposure in general under the hashtag #lesserknownfics. For posterity, I've compiled them all into an AO3 collection, and intend to add more when we do the next round in the future!

If your fic has been added, no one is calling it "lesser!" Quite the opposite--you have a fan (or more than one) that believes your work deserves more attention! However, if you were added and don't wish to be, simply DM me here or on twitter and I'll remove your fic and add you to the "no fly" list for the future. :) This list is not competitive, not a popularity contest, and not heavily gatekept. It is not checked for any subjective "quality" standards, it is just a collection of not-often-rec'd fics that at least one Destiel fan LOVES and thinks more people should read. There are popular authors with fics that didn't get much attention, there are brand-newbies, and everyone in between! There is something for everyone (and undoubtedly something that is not your taste--that is ok too! Keep looking!) My unending appreciation of how you just... write chapters weekly and post them like a badass I mean I agonize over characteristics and synonyms and it takes me 5 hours to write 100 words sometimes but you just PRODUCE stuff it's amazing eternal kudos to you

I have definitely been in the five hours to produce 100 words boat. And it sucks. I would really love to be bitten by a radioactive spider that could make me write faster.

But I think I've only gotten to the speed I'm at now because I've stumbled into a bit of a rhythm with fics and the only reason I got motivated to this place is because of awesome WIP readers, so thank you!
