I’ve had an unexpected burst of inspiration and I’ve been writing for Young and Beautiful, determined to get out of the 1940s. Mostly because the funniest part of the entire fic is the fact that the oc and Steve, who fight every five seconds and only get along because they’re in love with each others best friend, are the ones who end up stuck with each other for like 10 years from 2013-2023. Definition of forced family. Not found. Forced. They’d die for each other but they’d never admit it.

I did not plan for Young and Beautiful to be stuck in the 40’s for so long, but I’m not even mad. It is fun as hell writing the exploits of 1940s Team Cap. As well as exploring the early incarnation of the Red Room that we saw in Agent Carter.

On a serious note, the new Superman movie could not have been released at a more crucial moment in our society when young people, especially men, need positive role models with strong morals, who view empathy and a love for human life as ‘punk rock.’ That was my favourite moment in the whole film.

As an amateur historian and a marvel fanfic writer I’ve been trying to work out Hydra’s role during the 20th century, particularly when it comes to the Cold War, Red Room ect, and what finally made it click is the realisation that Hydra was to international relations what Palpatine was to the Clone Wars.

Hey ya'll so I've been alternating between writing the new chapters of Young and Beautiful, Fire Meet Gasoline, and Silver Springs. All are pretty close to complete just touching them up.

At this point I should've done a science degree with the amount of research articles I've read trying to fix my pcos, because even specialists apparently don't know shit and I'm tired of being rotated between my gp, gyno, and now an endocrinologist, and being told "the last doctor you saw should have handled this, go back to them" and I'm not paying $100 per gp appointment and $300+ dollar's per specialist appointment for nothing anymore, and for reference this is in Australia and all my specialists are at least 1.5 hours away on very dangerous roads with high fatality rates since I unfortunately live in a rural area.
