Con: especially with mostly white commentators speaking on black athletes which can ultimately set the mood and image for black athletes (never liked that shit), I feel like it can make some portray themselves a certain way for the masses, cause I mean if you act a certain you can easily (sorta) have access to certain things imo. I think celebrities in general dont want to face the reality of racism and think they’ll be safer pleasing massa. They dont realize the wave of being a “celebrity” is slowing coming to an end or at the very least it’s changing rapidly. People are fed up and dont care to see celebs they cant relate to flaunting their wealth. I dont know who told Brandon it was a good idea to stay silent but it was a bad move.
