Jimbo the Minecraft canary, master of archery!

I was playing on a modded server, taking this guy through coal mines and the like, and while walking through the main town area another player came up and gave me an enchanted bow “for the little guy”. They later wrote in the discord server how they wanted to see fanart of Jimbo and his new bow, so after 30 minutes of whipping it his up I happily provided.

I've been resource gathering for YEARS so now I am going to share my dragons hoard

Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.

Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.

Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.

Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.

SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.

SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.

Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.

Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.

Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.

Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.

Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.

Desert Duo sketch from December '23 when I was catching up on Secret Life!

I fell hard for the life series/hermitcraft fandom after discovering Sparkbird's music on instagram. They released some reels promoting their most recent song and asking their audience what fandom they'd associate it with, and the audience ate that up, recommending them fandoms like TMA, Good Omens, and Life Series, all of which Stephan Sparkbird has gotten into themself in the months since! I decided to give Life Series a watch around the same time they did, and we've both been having a parallel blast.

I highly recommend Sparkbird if you haven't heard their music already, they're fantastic. Their most popular song is November, which is, I think, the one most tied to desert duo and life series in general! But all their stuff is great.

What's Boppin', Bogdwellers?

My first attempt at a PFP / branding for Bogfoot! Done with a couple free brushes in clip studio paint. I wanted the wild rough sketchy who-let-this-guy-have-crayons vibe, and I think I got it pretty good!

Bogfoot is a solo music venture by me, Fuzzycryptid. This year I'm gonna make myself start publishing some tunes! My grandpa was a small-town folk musician who gave me my first ukulele, and he passed away a couple years back. I think I owe it to him to keep the family music lineage alive.

I have a lot of half-written songs I'd like to polish up and put out there, so I'm gonna start recording snippets and posting them here to force myself out of my comfort zone. Feel free to stick around if you're curious and like high-tempo folk, rock, jazz, and comedic music. :)

Y’know what I realized today? This guy is actually just an Animal Crossing fossil. It’s actually just that. Nearly identical. Y’know, save for the little sea star bits in the corner, but those fossils are much more scarce, so what can ya do.

Look at that crap. Ain’t that cool? Aw yeah, baby, I friggin’ love fossils.”
