Look at how this is set up. Their heights are arranged in a way that makes it look like a heart, and the way they’re facing almost negates that, showing that although they may be required to “love” akito, it’s a reluctant love for so many of them. The visual representation of the bond is shown in so many ways but this one is really beautifully done. Akito knows that their love is reluctantly given in so many cases, but takes it nonetheless, craving that and the power that it gives. And while the zodiac do love their god, they are looking out almost as if looking for where the grass is greener in their worlds. Honestly bless the visuals and symbolism in this anime.
