The youth and it’s companion; unemployment, is on a journey to an unknown destination. The unlimited vibrant youth of Africa, is in desolate situation walking around with someone shameful and disrespectful that has no dignity call; unemployment, it's being help and abetted by the corrupt and disgraceful leaders of Africa.

The plight of the ordinary African woman, from the garden through the tiny muddy roads to the market.
The duty officer stop at her table Mama, here is the ticket, my son as you can see am just about to sit down I arrive lest than two minutes ago.
EARLIER: @5:00am Mama wakes up with back pain and suffering from lack of sleep and unending random thoughts roving through her loving heart, Tobaski is coming my son has been deported back from Germany, before he used to assist me with little money when it comes to Tobaski or Koriteh and even school fees for his siblings. Now school is closed Saibatou suppose to go for summer classes but I can't afford it she has to give me hand in the garden and come back home to cook for us.
She started on her daily challenge by performing the early morning prayer "fajir" then when on to wake her girl up from there to the garden before sunrise she was inside harvesting tomatoes, okra, pepper, – lettuce, spinach and silverbeet etc.
Mama left the garden to the market while balancing a basket full of sweet fresh vegetables on her head that will end up at the kitchens of the rich (mostly corrupt officials) with little money that is hardly bearable to her family needs.
After a journey of more than four and half kilometers she finally reach the main road hailing a taxi 🚕 finally to the market upon arrival she call a labourer (burrom puse puse) again she paid him, too, no sooner than she finishes getting ready for sale, duty officer stop at her table Mama here is the ticket, my son as you can see am just about to sit down I arrive lest than two minutes ago.
Officer; Mama this is not my fault you most pay, everyone does, imagine if I let you someone else might say the same thing at the end no one will pay, so it's a most or I take something.
Please you know I always pay so am just asking you to forgive me until I sell then I will pay you I beg you for the sake of God (nyina la giri yallah).
"Nko yalun mbedokula" Do you know i am working, ok now I will take these tomatoes, pepper, lettuce totaling three times the price of the duty ticket sadly and left to the next vendor (victim).
She sold some the rest got credited to her clients and she go back home @1:00pm, nine hours of hard work everyday to feed a nation without any recognition or help from government.

My views on the protest against the lost of a business man's life on the allege hands of the Anti Crime Unit.
My phone buzzed up I checked it out Kexx was live and this time not from the usual famous places of the NA or the Airport on the honorable Sallah departures. But at dangerous scenes were thousands (Youths) could be seen very angry and almost ready to die.
I was quick to realize that something absolutely was wrong in Gambia and later I knew what it is, that a young business man was arrested by the Anti Crime Unit for being in possession of a stolen item/s at his shop.
He was said to be taken to the HQ of the ACU for questioning and was detained for days before being released, a dear friend of his took him to hospital and he subsequently died.
My views to the issue are Gambia is changing for the better I see GAF members with their ruffles together with the deputy CDS right in front of angry protesting crowds amid feelings of sadness anger and frustration.
Insults stones tire burning were put to ease and negotiation took over at some point this is a dream come true, the CDS was full of composure and his men where at professional level.
Honorable Sallah the man himself again did not surprise he stood up for peace to survive in the country once more the infatigable man of the moment during the political impasse in 2016/17 was there right in the middle of the wilderness between the youths and the Police/GAF.
Mr Sallah since I first met him I was a little boy but something stroke me that he could command and rule anyone with a token of sense, the way and manner he summons up the humanness of an individual/s or group of people is beyond measure how he instils understanding and prestige to one's brain is just mind boggling.
To the Youths I see you are brave and courageous you don't fear death nor do you surrender to solders with machine guns, GAF used to be the the death angels in the country but I see them as born again as the my Christians friends would say to a pure one.
Youths you have sawing that you cannot take it anymore and that you can abide by the law when you are adhere to, the way you listen to the Honorable and the CDS at Serrekunda police station is a sign to that.
I am appealing to the government to take it easy with civilians we are tired of killing innocent people we want to be free in our own country don't treat us like terrorist we are your brothers sisters uncles aunts and cousins, We have being through the worst and fear we do no more.
Gambia peace...

"If I where not having children"
How a child/children can instil love and pity to their parents.
As the azan has being call from the mosque for "Asr" the late afternoon prayer, everyone was busy and finding one's way to take ablution and pray.
I my self rushed to the toilet and take ablution perform the "Asr" prayer and asked for peace, freedom and well-being for all.
As I sat down to read about my long term initiative of FUC I saw that strong build black man (my neighbor) having a rough discussion with a black gorgeous woman so I thought it was just a normal disagreement they were having.
The distance between us was not more than four meters away so I could see that non of them wants anyone to notice what was going on but they just can't come to and agreement on what ever the issue was.
Acting on an African manner I decided to see if I could be of help settling the matter I extended a hand of greeting to my neighbor and said hello how are you to the lady, they both responded positively.
She wants to put me in trouble said my neighbor she is a thief I caught her stealing in my shop, she unzip the bag and was about to pull out the money that someone asked me to keep for him which is foreign currency $$$ the man is a foreign exchange dealer (locally).
Now that I didn't take it though you see me please forgive me says the lady.
The man is merciless he could send me to jail for years if this money is stolen and who would take care of my kids, wives (2) and my old mother.
The young lady turned to me please sir tell him to forgive me and not to shame me in front of everyone here I have children and I am a woman.
You don't want to be shamed but you want to throw us to jail I responded (though I was emotional but I tried to hide it at first). Remember am the closest neighbor to him so all of us could be arrested for this.
Worst of all the owner of the money was less than two meters away and he has a heart of a "Yetteh jallow" he could even killed the lady at that spot if he knew what is going on.
So I asked are you sure she did not take anything? No she don't.
Please I swear to God I don't take anything please with subbing, but without tears I realized, don't touch me the man said almost yelling as she tried to lay her hands on his feet.
Sir please forgive her, I beg you. Dad this is not the first time she came here before said the son. What oh she is the very one that came here the last time? Yes Dad.
Please I have children don't shame me or send me to jail am not doing this on my free will, Sir please for the sake of God forgive her since you know she did not take anything please.
You can even call the owner of the money to verify I suggest (knowing it was not the best option) please I pleaded heartily.
if I were not having children!
You can go, she vanished of the face of the earth 🌍.

My weekly Insight No1.
Why can't we maintain our infrastructure and institutions even though we know how hard we got them, in Africa?
In The Gambia we used to have a river transportation system in place during the first regime or even before which runs from Banjul to Basse though I have never seen it, like wise there was a national bus transportation services that goes through the length of the country, though we now have the green buses in place am afraid tomorrow they may not be there if proper systems to maintain them are not look after.
If this systems of service where available to date I think we would have been in a different state of development by now.
I could remember my first time to come over to Guinea Conakry in 2001 around July and August there was this beautiful Airport in Labe, which is not far from my late uncle's home so I used to go there with my cousins to see flights taking off and landing and it was really amazing.
But I when there two years ago sadly enough you can not bear the mud on the premises of the airport which I don't think is operational now I asked what is the problem and I was told that the government removed the pavement of the runway and that they will soon modernise it on the whole it has remained so for couples of years.
To my surprise I was made to know that every region in this country (Guinea) where having a regional airport which is no more (I believed) so what are the problems?
We cry for development and transformation when we don't take care of the institutions that are already there in place my guess is that we should try and get strong anti corruption institutions with better salaries so we could find ways to minimise corruption in our system (governments).
