Hi!! I read this fic literal years ago and loved it so much, but I can’t seem to find it now. I believe it started off with Sam waking up in a field with Gabriel, and Gabriel had lost all his angel powers so he was forced to take travel with Sam till he got them back! I remember it was a slow burn and didn’t get together until they reached Bobby’s house around the end and Gabe’s powers returned :D thank you so so much for any consideration!!

Does anyone know this fic?

Sammy takes care of Gabriel’s dirty, messed up wings. Gentle, soft and caring touches that just make the archangel feel, on the one hand, even more embarrassed by the bad condition his wings are in and, on the other, safe and loved.

Kiiind of pictured it as Sam finding out Gabe’s (or, I suppose, in this case, Hermes’) true identity – that he isn’t in fact Dionysus, the god he’d believed to have fallen in love with, and is now suddenly torn between his love for Hermes and his unfortunate newfound lack of trust towards the man.
