He smiled, just a bit, slowly relaxing. "Yeah, I guess everything's fine." He smiles as she calms down, but blinks at the furrowing of her brow. "Are you okay?" he asked, raising his own eyebrow.

She could have laughed, she though about it, but somehow, she didn’t think it would make the situation any better. “Okay, it’s okay. No harm really done, right?” Lucy could feel a awkward silence begin to arise between them, and that wasn’t what she wanted at all. He was a werewolf, no big deal at all. She was a witch, for Merlin’s sake, something that— he didn’t know. Oh shit, he didn’t know. She furrowed her eyebrow as she came to this realization. He didn’t know she was a witch and that’s why he looked so confused that she was acting like it was so okay, so ordinary and oh god. He didn’t know.

He sighed, rubbing his forehead. "Of course they do. Then I should definitely be going, I guess."

He blinked, staring at her. This was not the response he had expected, not one of the many reactions he would have thought she'd had. He thought he'd have to calm her down, after all. He blinked at her. "...Right, sorry, my bad."

"Oh. Well, okay." She stated simply, as she focused back on him. He looked so incredibly nervous and upset, that it was almost laughable. She couldn’t ever remember seeing him this wound up about anything, not even when he’d admitted to caring about more deeply than he’d ever intended to, and she knew how difficult that had been for him. This didn’t change anything for her— she’d grown up in a household that fought against the prejudice against werewolves. Teddy was basically her brother, and she’d been told all about his father, Remus. She knew about Uncle Bill’s condition, and how everyone even joked about it  "Well, just because you’re a super cool werewolf, doesn’t mean that you can just pick lock your way through my door." It changed nothing for Lucy.

He smiles, pulling her close. "Yeah, it is." He kissed the top of her head, relaxing.

Terra giggles as she leans against Oz’s chest, setting her beer down on the coaster. “Did Lucas really do that? How is that crazy guy still alive after stunts like that?”

He frowned, watching her just a moment. Hie glanced at his hand as he felt her fingers, and muttered softly to her, "Werewolf. There."

Lucy sighed when he took her hand, a light sense of relief washing over her. She was still worried that he’d leave. He used to close off and shut down so easily before. “I smell really badly and sing really loudly?” She smiled softly as she zoned in on his callused hand, her fingers lightly tracing over his knuckles. It was a stupid joke, she knew, but she honestly had no idea what to even say or guess.

"Yes, and yes," he said, surprised when she sat in his eyeline. He blinked at her hand but took it, cautiously. "Figure it out yet or no?"

"My scent? Like a dog?" Lucy circled back around him and perched herself on her bed, in front of him. She didn’t like that he wouldn’t look at her, so of course, she sat straight in his view. Her heartbeat? "So you’ve got superhearing?" It wasn’t out of this world; she was a witch, for god’s sake. She reached her hand out tentatively, for him to take it.
