The Olympians Legacy Challenge

22/07/2024: I edited a few things in some of the graphics! Just a few typos and one of the goals for Apollo+Artemis was incomplete, so I fixed it!

All my life I've been fascinated by Greek Mythology and all those Gods and Goddesses. So I think it's very fitting that my first Legacy Challenge ever would be about them! I hope you guys like it and I'd be very happy if anyone does it someday. ❤️

Way of Life Challenge Overview

The Way of Life Legacy Challenge focuses on the 16 Lifestyles that came with The Sims 4 Snowy Escape. This legacy-style challenge has 16 generations, each utilizing a variety of packs and features. A loose storyline ties each generation to the next, giving you direction while still being open enough for your creativity and play-style to shine.

Disclaimer: This challenge is a 2.0 version (or more? I don’t know) of the Black Widow Challenge that already exists but with different rules & goal. I mostly wrote this for myself but I figured: why not share it out there if anyone wants to try it out. It's totally possible something like this already exists so I'm not claiming originality for the idea of making a challenge out of killing Sims 😈

Your Sim wants to be rich, live a simple life but most of all, has had enough of living in their small apartment while doing odd jobs going nowhere. And what’s better than marrying someone rich? The only problem to this answer: your Sim is not really into the whole marriage thing. Luckily, accidents happen.

Your Sim has to go from a life of misery in a San Myshuno apartment to living in the house of their dreams in the world of their choice. Your Sim has to marry many Sims (especially the wealthy!) and each spouse has to experience a different death.

MAKING YOUR SIM -

Your Sim can have any trait you want, but they must have at least ONE negative trait of your choosing.

Pick an ASPIRATION among the ones below and try to complete it before becoming an elder:

- Serial Romantic - Villainous Valentine - Mansion Baron - Fabulously Rich

THE APARTMENT -

Pick an apartment among the less expensive in the Spice Market district of San Myshuno: Culpepper House, Jasmine Suites or build your own on the Old Salt House lot.

After moving in use the cheat code MONEY and give yourself a budget of 25 000 to decorate your apartment the way you want.

WORKING -

You should have a Level 1 job or something part-time. The goal is not to develop any sort of career, if your Sim obtains a promotion you immediately quit and start a new job. Once you get married, you’re done working for the rest of your Sim life!

You can do any sort of activity that brings you some money such as writing books, knitting, painting, programming OR even become a landlord. You simply can not have a job / develop any sort of career. 

GETTING MARRIED -

Before being able to marry any of your spouse you should check a few things off of your list:

- Have Love and Friendship above 50 (easy!) - You must have the status of boyfriend/girlfriend. - You must have two dates: one at your home and one on a community lot. - Go on a “weekend getaway” aka spend a romantic night out in another world (on a rental lot).

DYING SPOUSE - 

There are around 34 Deaths in the Sims 4. Each of your spouse needs to experience a different kind of death. Because of this, you can do this challenge two ways:

- One Sim: Do as many deaths as possible in your lifespan. You can use potions to live longer if you want to do ALL deaths. - Legacy style: have children carry on the death of the spouses once your own Sim dies of old age. 

YOU CAN - 

- Have as many children as you want or not have any at all with your spouses, you can adopt, or have zero children. The choice is yours! - Have pets, horses, goats, and whatever animal you wish to! 

This is a list of all the possible deaths with each corresponding pack. Some are not on the list such as the ones from the High School Years pack since these deaths only work on teenagers.

STEP 1

Life in San Myshuno! Your apartment, the odd jobs, the dates until you finally meet THE ONE, get engaged and finally GET MARRIED.

STEP 2

The married life! Move in with your spouse, get a lover on the side while waiting for you spouse to die. Once you’ve reached 50 in love and friendship with your lover you can actively help with your spouse’s death.

STEP 3

Marriage number 2! Bulldoze your first’s spouse house and get the cash, move in with your second spouse, wait or help for their death once you’ve gotten married (no need to have a lover this time unless you want to).

STEP 4

The Dream House! Bulldoze your second spouse’s home once they die, get the cash and move to the world of your choosing and build the house of your dreams! Keep on marrying sims, nudge their death, cash the money and live your best life.

Totally Awesome 80s Legacy Challenge!!!

Here are the rules for my super long legacy challenge. They haven't been tested thoroughly yet so feel free to let me know if anything isn't doable. It's meant to be done in either normal or long lifespan, but if you want to try the short lifespan I won't stop you. You can skip any generations that you can't do due to pack limitations or if you just don't feel like doing that generation. This is meant to be fun, not strict. If you don't like one of the rules feel free to skip it. Another fun thing to do would be to find and watch the movie before each generation so you have a better handle on what I was trying to recreate in that generation. Also if these graphics are unreadable I do have a Word file I can link. Please let me know if you try the challenge and tag me in any posts or videos so I can see how you're doing. how many times do you here about people persisting in an assumption that they didn’t want to be true in their reality (mind you that they have no knowledge of the law) and then it hardens into fact extremely fast….literally all the time, people who assume their partner is cheating but doesn’t want them to be because they love them but persist in that assumption and then two days later they see their partner with someone else….cheating….point is, is you don’t have to deeply believe it for it to harden into fact, you just persist and use imagination as validation (which they also did) and then saw it physically manifest

STATES ANALOGIES TO MAKE IT EASIER

RESTAURANT/CLOTHING STORE: - think of states as a restaurant or a clothing store, yeah?

you're given a menu with a bunch of items to choose from or look around you and see a bunch of clothes (diff states). in the menu there's vegan options, diff foods for diff dietary preferences, kids meals and all that fun stuff (diff types of states you can choose from depending on one that you like and want to be in). in a store there's clothes if different sizes, shapes, colors and styles (again, diff states to choose from depending on what you choose). let's say you're someone who's vegan and want to order a vegan meal and you see a huge shrimp platter option on the next page of the menu, are you gonna settle and order shrimp? (you're in a state, you see or hear something in the 3d that isn't what you want, do you identify with that?). or if you're someone who is naturally a size medium and you see a dress or a pair of pants that are that size and see another dress that's a size small, would you buy the smaller size? (same as the one above, if you see something that isn't you desire, would u identify w that?). if you identify as someone who's vegan, why would you order a shrimp platter? and if you're someone who's a size medium and knows a size small isn't your fit, why would you buy a size small? if you're seeing something in the 3d that shows you your old story when you've DECIDED that you're already the person that have what they want, why would you identify with the 3D? why identify with that old story love when that old story isn't you?

A HORSE RACE:

you can pick and choose whatever and whichever horse you'd want to ride in a race, right? you have so many options to choose from! you choose one and decide to ride it in a race, yeah? it's running towards the finish line (desire manifesting in the 3D) and let's say the horse slips or you lose control of the reins and fall, hm? are you gonna just give up right then and there? you can! however, you can also patch yourself up if you and your horse are hurt and in need of some assistance and then get back on there and STILL WIN THE RACE or keep going until you do! so it doesn't matter if you fall off your horse temporarily (fall out of the state) or pick a horse that might've not been the fastest (chosen a shitty temporary state) but the end goal was the same right?

the longer you stay on your horse-> the faster you reach the finish line

the more you keep going back to a state and feeling it real -> the faster it shows up in the 3D

Assumption - something you accept as true despite having no physical evidence for it.

Affirmation - a phrase you repeat in order to remind yourself of the assumption you’d like to cultivate within you. Helps you achieve a state.

State - your state of consciousness, or the mindset you are currently entertaining. This is the reason for your thoughts, moods, and the 3D circumstances you experience.

The formula ♡

Create an inner world ! Who are you in it ? What is your life in it ? Whatever you want define it. Write it somewhere, create a Google docs with your inner world, your new life, your new reality.

Now start living in it. Let go of the old story, of your old reality, of your old you. And only live in this new reality that you created. And stand firm with it. DO NOT WAVER. NEVER WAVER. Stay loyal to your new life.

See and hear with your mind not with your eyes and ears.

Now: Affirm, Visualize, Day dream, Act as if, Listen to subliminals, Create a mind movie, Vision board, etc....

Completely ignore the 3D and live as much as possible as if you were in your ideal reality.

Example: You are manifesting a large sum of money. Imagine what you are going to do with it. Start creating shopping list, knowing for sure that you already have it.

You have to stay persistent and loyal to your new vision. Because the 3D is morphing into whatever you assume. Whatever you say and assume goes. Your 3D litteraly bows down to you saying " Whatever you believe, you'll have".

Do not speak against your manifestation. Flip your thoughts. Affirm. Rewire your mind through subs, affs and affs tapes. Do not complain about your 3D why would you complain if it does not exist. Why would you complain about your sp rejecting you if he loves you.

Crate your inner world, live in it and watch your 3D conforms.✨
