Here’s the basics:

USAmerican minorities are in imminent danger, collectively and individually, from both the state and non state actors, and this is worsening

The Left here is very far behind the right in terms of any means of defense

The USAmerican Right is armed and will not be disarmed, nor can it be due to its usefulness to the state

Gun control will only lead to the further criminalization of minorities and the left, and is a legislative dead end anyway

Simply remaining unarmed is foolish when they’re showing up armed at drag shows and shooting up protests and openly itching to kill us, and the cops have their back

Individual armament is incredibly easy in the US. Comically easy, even. Doing it the correct way is only marginally harder, if you have help.

Collective armament, whether by means of militias, communal armories, or procuring bulk supplies of weapons legally or otherwise, is an incredibly good way to get you and your entire organization killed or jailed. That’s how ATF and USAmerican law enforcement works, and there’s loads of historical examples of this.

Community defense (and for that matter self-defense) relies on multiple tactics, but actual, material, violent defense against violence is indisputably one of them, even if it is the last of them

Here’s what this implies:

The barrier to entry is low, and the consequences for either remaining unarmed or attempting some sort of centralized and vulnerable armory program is dramatically dangerous

And so the conclusion we must arrive at:

In the United States, arming of the left on an individual basis is the only option to begin to approach parity of arms with our main threats, let alone even think of developing a militant capability, nor does it preclude or disadvantage the kind of coordinated mass training or action taken by the obvious historical examples of successful left military movements; rather, it is advantageous to those sorts of group training if individual members already come to the table with a basic understanding of the skillset and in posession of some level of materiel
