Calling Midare and Jiroutachi trans based on how they dress and how they “talk” is extremely transphobic. 

I get that a lot of you might be young and/or unaware of this, but I’m just going to tell you now that it needs to stop. Just because a boy wears a skirt or likes to have long hair, or even wears makeup, does NOT make them trans or gay. Saying that it does is wrong and discourages young children and/or young adults to feel pressured away or into being trans or gay. 

There’s no such thing as looking like a girl or a boy. There is no such thing as acting like a girl or a boy. By saying that there is, you’re encouraging sexist gender roles.

All Touken Danshi currently in the game all canonly identify as male (hence “Danshi”). People may assume otherwise based on how they speak, however, they’re wrong.

Sword danshi, like Jiroutachi, may use feminine words in their Japanese monologue due to their previous master being female, or being constantly surrounded by females before being manifested. They do this because they’re like toddlers; they repeat what they’ve seen/heard, because that’s the only way of knowing how to do most of the things they do. Especially their fighting styles.

Now you know, if you didn’t already before, that trying to say that Midare and Jiroutachi are “canonly trans” is transphobic and ignornant. I hope this post helped you. - Mod Sakura tree

Usually I reserve these thoughts for twitter but... That one meme where the parent is so kind with the kid, and then the other parent dangles them by the leg. That's me, but with my two darlings (Jiroutachi and Hachisuka). One of these will get only the fluffiest of fics and arts, and the heartache always has a happy ending soon enough, and he doesn't have to struggle much at all.
