Students from another school... A place his influence as a lecturer did not reach, unfortunately. It meant he couldn't do much about it than to keep an eye out for them in the future, should they try anything again. Going to the police was not even an option in his head, despite being a very upstanding normal citizen these days. "That's not something you should be that nonchalant about. Physical injury is still injury...", he sighed, before glancing around. There weren't many people around to see the exchange, luckily. "Would you like me to walk you to your house? I'm a little worried for you, to tell the truth. I'm... not doing much myself, at the moment." It was an odd thing to say, for a man like him, but something about the other man did make him feel... something. Was it protectiveness over him? Saseki was certainly much younger than him, in his 20's and full of promise. Something worth keeping safe and from harm. And besides, going home straight away didn't really excite him. Maybe he'd find some izakaya and spend the rest of the evening there, instead of feeling so frustrated over his bad date. Maybe he should have known it'd go badly, the moment she'd commented on his face looking scary, when he'd just tried to smile...

"Unfortunately yes," Saseki sighs, rubbing the back of his neck. "But they're not from our campus. They're..."

Oh jeez he hates to say this... "They're from another college where my father works as an archivist. But word got out that I'm his son and, well, I guess they're not happy that some secret trust fund kid got a spot in last month's student exhibition in Osaka."

He loosens the grip on his engraving tool in his pocket. "This is the first time they even had the balls to corner me. Prolly coz we caught them on camera when we found out somebody tried to break into Hokuto-sensei's art studio that same week we had our exhibition."

Saseki looks back up at Takeshi, and still can't help that mild intimidated feeling he's having right now--he knows he's not specifically angry with Saseki... Maybe.

"Thanks... For getting me out of that mess. I mean I was kinda ready to deal with a black eye or two back there, honestly..." And maybe giving them a few scratches or five.

[Takeshi] The older man watched after the fleeing men until they were out of sight, just to make sure they wouldn't try anything stupid, before he finally turned to face the student, a concerned frown on his face.

The attackers had clearly been students, for the small bit he'd been able to hear of the exchange, but they were not in any of his classes, so he couldn't recognize them... He'd just have to have Saseki give him their details later. Speaking of which. Takeshi gave the other a quick glance-over to make sure he wasn't hurt, before sighing and shaking his head. It was just his luck to have something like this happen just as he was returning from a date. It hadn't gone very well, hence him walking back home on his own, but at least it was worth having gone out, now that he'd managed to be of help to the younger man, if nothing else. "...Do you know them?" It certainly hadn't escaped the teacher how they'd... implied things about him and his past, in that moment of tension. Takeshi could only hope it was a joke... He had always guarded his past well, and having rumours attached to himself about something like that did not sit well with him in the slightest. Because even a drop of truth in the words could make a mess of his hard-earned career as a college lecturer. "Does this happen to you often...?"

I'm just one step away from sending everything to your supervisor unless you want to keep your grades high enough for you to finally graduate at this point."

Clearly the assailant was furious that somebody even had the absolute gall to talk back (and with proof--how dare he?!), and tried to lunge for the other. "You fuckin bastard--!"

Saseki had his engraving tool ready in his pocket, but then somebody steps between them, and even then, Saseki can't help being taken aback by that familiar tall, muscular feature with long black hair almost flowing in the wind.

And that deep baritone he sometimes hear through normal lectures suddenly sounded...too menacing.

"...T-Takeshi-sensei..."

His assailant was about to land a punch--to the frickin lecturer--before one of their goons had to pull that arm back. "Ishizeki are you crazy?! You get Mr Takeshi involved and your whole family's fucking doomed, man! Don't you know he's got connections with every hitman in the underworld??"

Really? This tall handsome man having to do with the yakuza?

Psshh yeah right! So says every rumor going about on campus just because he's swole as heck built like a bodyguard.

Takeshi occasionally reminds me of Yue Qingyuan and I really wanna draw that, but... it'd just look like him in some pretty robes. There's not much recognizably HIM in just the outfit alone...
