Heaven Tastes of Cherries
Simeon (Obey Me)/Reader
Summary: It was so cliché but fuck, if his mouth didn't look so pretty sucking on that lollipop
Contains: lots of tongue, no smut but leads up to it, no specific pronouns but the reader does wear a skirt
Word Count: 1.1k
It was such a ridiculous, cliché action to become aroused by, but you couldn't help it. Not when Simeon's mouth looked that pretty, with pink lips wrapped around a lollipop. His tongue would poke out occasionally, delivering little kitten licks as he absentmindedly ate the candy while he read his book.
You imagined what that mouth would feel like on your skin; you imagined what that tongue would feel like, curling around yours or pumping in and out of you. You squeezed your thighs together at the thought. You felt ashamed for having these thoughts while you were meant to be studying with him. However, the work was boring, and you would much rather focus on Simeon, who was seated next to you on one of the couches in the library/study. The room was empty, which didn't help matters.
Simeon must have eventually felt your gaze on him and looked over at you with a small frown, his lollipop stalling just before his open lips.
"Are you alright?"
You were quick to nod, hoping to look natural.
He gave you a look that said he didn't quite believe you. "Are you sure? You look flustered. Is something the matter?"
More like someone, you wanted to say.
"Nope. I'm fine." Your voice sounded strained even in your own ears.
He watched you for a moment, taking another lick of his lollipop. You gulped as your eyes helplessly followed the movement. He frowned slightly as he watched you before repeating the movement, this time wrapping his lips around it for a moment and sucking.
You bit back a shameless sound and tore your gaze from him. You stared down at your book, but not a single word was comprehensible in that moment.
He murmured your name, and you looked up reluctantly. "Yes?"
He leaned further into your space and held up the lollipop. "Did you want a taste?"
You could see the way the treat had stained his tongue red as he spoke. Your heart jumped, and you frowned. "What do you mean?"
"Well, you seem pretty distracted by it."
He seemed insistent, so you eventually nodded. You expected him to hold the lollipop out to you, but instead, he placed it down on its wrapper on the end table before taking a hold of your face in one of his hands.
He squeezed your cheeks lightly. "Open. Stick your tongue out."
There wasn't any room for argument, so just as if you were a demon who had made a pact, you followed his instructions.
A flash of heat passed through his eyes for a moment before he leaned in. You thought he was going to kiss you, but instead, he ran his tongue up and along yours. Somehow, that was quite possibly one of the most strangely erotic things you had experienced.
He leaned back a little, gazing intensely at you. "How's that? Did you get a good taste?"
You brought your tongue back into your mouth. Cherry. That was the flavour of the lollipop.
You shook your head, and feeling bold, you suddenly replied, "No, I think I need another taste."
He seemed amused by that answer. He grinned. "Of course you do."
His smile disappeared as he held you by the back of the neck and leaned in to lock his lips with yours. Flames erupted on your skin as his tongue slipped past your lips and curled around yours.
The kiss was messy, a little too wet, but by God was it good. Cherry flavour washed over your tongue as he kissed you, and you couldn't help the little noise you let out as he sucked on your tongue, as if he was trying to get a taste of you and not the opposite way around. He tilted his head to deepen the kiss, working his jaw as if he intended to devour you. You took all that he gave you willingly, not about to let a single moment of it go to waste. The sound of your kissing would've made you blush on any other day, but today there was no room in your brain for anything but thoughts of Simeon and his cherry-flavoured kisses.
Being human, you needed to take a breath at some point and regrettably had to pull back a little after a while. Your pulse was racing as you fought to catch your breath. Simeon wasn't deterred by the lack of your lips on his; instead, he tugged lightly on your hair and forced your head back so that he had better access to your neck. You couldn't help the small whimper that slipped past your open lips as he kissed and sucked lightly on the pulse of your neck. He smirked against your neck before setting to work on kissing his way down the sensitive skin of your neck. You could feel the way he was biting and sucking, and you knew that there were probably going to be marks that the others would tease you for, but you couldn't bring yourself to care. Your hand found its way into his dark hair, tugging at the soft strands as his free hand found its way to your thigh. You gasped as his fingers pushed up under the hem of your skirt.
He pulled back from your neck to look at you, and you opened your eyes to look back at him. You bit your lip at the sight of his face. His cheeks were flushed, his lips were pink and kiss-swollen, and there was a fiery heat in his hooded eyes as he looked at you.
“Fuck. I would not have expected this from an angel.” You sounded so breathless.
He laughed, and you frowned as he stood up suddenly. Your eyes widened as he nudged your knees apart and sank to his knees between your thighs.
He smirked up at you. “Oh, honey, I might be an angel, but I have never claimed to be a saint.”
He slid his hands slowly up your thighs, hiking your skirt up and keeping his eyes locked on yours all the while. You gulped. Should you push him away? What if someone came in? Oh, fuck it.
You opened your legs a little wider for him, and he gave you an uncharacteristically devilish smile of approval. Soon enough, his head found its way between your thighs, and you no longer had to imagine what his tongue would feel like. Heaven. It felt like heaven.

Some Things Are Better Left Unsaid
Summary: Kaveh gets drunk and says something he regrets
Word count: 1.4k
CW: Mild Sumeru Archon quest spoiler
Taking up the position of Acting Grand Sage had come with an added workload, especially after everything that had happened in Sumeru. Alhaitham had expected it but that didn't make him like it anymore. It wasn't uncommon for him to be up into the early hours of the morning working at his desk. For the most part, he worked undisturbed; Kaveh had work to do too and would mostly keep to himself when doing so. If anything, the only disturbance would be if they bumped into each other in their short breaks between work or if Kaveh was in a good mood and would bring him coffee. They had recently bought a new coffee grinder and Kaveh was obsessed with it. He acted like it was the best thing he had ever purchased. It was endearing and also meant that Alhaitham got good coffee more often.
He had expected to be undisturbed for most of tonight since Kaveh was out drinking with Cyno and Tighnari at the tavern but the universe had other plans.
Around half past twelve, there was knocking on the front door. He hadn't heard it at first, headphones on and focused on his work, but after the knocking grew more urgent he sighed and got up to answer the door.
He found a tired-looking Tighnari on his doorstep.
"Thank the Archons." Tighnari sighed in relief. He looked a little out of breath.
"Can I help you?"
"Yes. Can you please come get Kaveh? He's making a fool of himself again."
Trust Kaveh to disturb his evening. "And you couldn't bring him home yourself?"
Tighnari gave him an exasperated look. "He's yours, Alhaitham, therefore your problem. Besides, I already tried. He wouldn't let me."
"Fine."
The walk to the tavern was quiet. Alhaitham wasn't fond of small talk, especially this time of the night when he had other things to do and Tighnari wasn't in the mood for small talk either. He stumbled once or twice on the walk and Alhaitham assumed he must have done his fair share of drinking tonight as well.
Alhaitham resisted the urge to wrinkle his nose when they entered the tavern– It was crowded and loud. Loudest of all was his dear roommate.
"Do you know that he barely speaks to me these days?" Kaveh lamented loudly. "Always has his nose in some paperwork or book."
Cyno looked like he was barely listening.
"Why would they give Alhaitham that position? Does he look like Grand Sage material to you?!" Kaveh took a gulp of his drink. His face was going pink and his hair was dishevelled.
"I mean-" Cyno started but Kaveh cut him off.
"And he snaps at me all the time! 'Kaveh, shut up. Kaveh this. Kaveh that.' It's exhausting and frustrating." Kaveh slammed his cup down on the table and some beer sloshed over the rim.
"Does he realise I actually have feelings?! I'm human too!"
Cyno looked up over Kaveh's shoulder and Kaveh fell silent, finally detecting the presence behind him.
"He's behind me, isn't he?"
Cyno nodded and Kaveh groaned. He turned in his chair to look up at his roommate. "What are you doing here? Don't you have work to do?"
"I'm here to fetch you," Alhaitham stated and Kaveh huffed.
"I'm not a child."
Alhaitham pushed down the urge to roll his eyes. "You're acting like one."
Kaveh glared at him. "Well, nobody asked you. Go home, Alhaitham."
He wrapped a hand around Kaveh's bicep. "Not by myself."
Kaveh tried to shrug off Alhaitham's grip. "I can take care of myself."
He reached for his cup but Alhaitham snatched it from his hand and put it aside. "Enough, Kaveh. You're making a fool of yourself."
Kaveh tried to yank his arm out of Alhaitham's grip again. "I'm making a fool out of myself?!"
"Yes. Look around you." Alhaitham bit out. His patience was running thin.
Kaveh looked around and he felt his cheeks heat up. Multiple people were in fact staring at him.
"Why do you always have to be right? You're so annoying! I genuinely wish I'd never met you!"
Their table fell completely silent for a moment, and Cyno's cup stalled halfway to his lips. There was a flash of hurt in Alhaitham's eyes but it was gone as soon as it had made an appearance.
"Kaveh, let's just go home, please." Alhaitham sounded tired and Kaveh finally relented.
He struggled out of his chair, slapping Alhaitham's hand away when he tried to help him up. Alhaitham watched him try and walk out of the tavern in a straight line, ignoring the stares. Alhaitham knew they must be muttering about Kaveh. Kaveh came here a lot. He would tell you that he just enjoyed the alcohol and atmosphere but Alhaitham knew it was more than that. He disliked it greatly when people gossiped about the blond. They knew nothing about Kaveh. It was not their place.
Kaveh was quiet once they were out of the tavern, seemingly having run out of steam but Alhaitham knew he was probably still thinking and stewing. There was a sort of usual timeline with Kaveh's drinking. First, as he got tipsy he would get all blushy and giggly and would laugh a lot. That would transition into what had just taken place inside the tavern and then after all his steam had run out he would get like this– Quiet, brooding. Sometimes he would cry. Alhaitham hated it when he cried.
Alhaitham could tell that Kaveh was trying his best to walk normally but he kept stumbling and Alhaitham was worried he would actually fall and injure himself. It had happened before, when Kaveh tried to get home by himself after drinking himself into a stupor. As much as Alhaitham detested being disturbed and getting dragged to the tavern, he much preferred being the one to help Kaveh home. That way he knew he was safe.
After a particularly bad stumble where Kaveh caught himself just in time by grabbing onto Alhaitham's arm, Alhaitham decided that he would have to step in. Before Kaveh had any chance to protest, Alhaitham had scooped him up in his arms bridal-style. Kaveh let out a surprised yelp and scrambled to wrap his arms around Alhaitham's neck.
"Put me down! What if people see, Alhaitham?!" He whisper-shouted.
Alhaitham sighed. "Kaveh, I'd rather you don't fall on your face. Let them look."
Truthfully, it wasn't the first time Alhaitham had had to carry Kaveh home so it was likely that the few people on the streets this time of the night had probably seen it before.
Kaveh blushed and buried his face in Alhaitham's neck but didn't protest any more.
By the time they'd made it home, the cool night air had done wonders to sober Kaveh up a little and now he was more drowsy than anything.
Alhaitham shifted Kaveh's weight to open the front door and closed it behind them before making his way across the home to his bedroom.
He carefully let Kaveh down, making sure to support him as he helped him remove his cloak and shoes. He guided Kaveh to the bed and sat him down, standing in front of him. Kaveh's eyes were closed but he was still awake, swaying slightly. Alhaitham carefully removed Kaveh's accessories and gently combed his fingers through Kaveh's hair once he was done. Kaveh hummed and leaned his head against Alhaitham's stomach. A smile twitched at the corners of Alhaitham's mouth.
"Okay, bedtime," Alhaitham announced.
Kaveh didn't protest as Alhaitham helped him into bed and covered him with the blankets.
As Alhaitham was about to leave the room, Kaveh called his name. Alhaitham turned around at the same time as Kaveh turned over in bed to look at him.
"Yes?"
Kaveh gulped. "I didn't mean it."
Alhaitham made his way over to the bed and Kaveh looked up at him.
"I didn't mean it when I said I wish I never met you. I'm sorry I said that, Haitham."
Alhaitham leaned down to press a kiss to Kaveh's temple and ran his fingers lightly over Kaveh's cheek.
"I know."
Kaveh gave him a familiar look and Alhaitham recognised its meaning immediately– I love you.
It wasn't something they often said to each other. Sometimes they just didn't need to. Some things could remain unsaid and still be heard.
"I know," Alhaitham said once again, giving Kaveh a small smile.
I love you, too.
