A rare update to Tumblr, showing some of my recent endeavours with painting.

You're sculpture art is amazing, I really love it, and have followed your work on here very casually for a while. I'm pretty sure I knew of you from Yogscast, but I've forgotten any detail beyond that, ha. Either way, its nice to watch an artist really grow and change through their craft. Thank you for being on this earth while I was also here, and for the influence your work has had on my days, even if they may be small impressions.
Anyway, maybe try estrogen sometime. This life is full of one constant, and that is to change. Dont die not knowing.
Otherwise, have a hell of a time being you. Only you can hear that voice of love inside, and it's already shown you joy and grief you never thought possible.
Love,
A friend
Thank you, so much! What a kind message. I feel sorry for not engaging enough with Tumblr, now that I get this kind of response. But, honestly, going offline and working more with analogue art has been really good for my mental health. I think especially today, with what social media (and the internet in general) is turning into, working with your hands, making physical art, it's good stress-relief. And not caring about whether or not your works goes viral is also calming. It's nice to be creative for the sake of being creative, rather than shouting out loud, attempting to be seen in an online sea all polluted by algorithms, cryptocurrency scams, and AI slop.
And when it comes to estrogen, y'know, I think the best life is one full of experiences, but I dunno if that's a path I am interested in going down. Maybe I can do estrogen by proxy? I could find some cute little thing, then make them take the estrogen and observe the results. Like a scientist. Yes, that'd be the approach I'd take.

Works. This is the sort of stuff I do now. Sculptures. Textiles, plaster, clay, acrylics. Less chance of going viral, but it's infinitely better for your mental health. It's really comforting being off social media.

I haven't really been keeping up with the Yogscast in years, but I did recently watch their Fighting Fantasy stream from a few weeks ago. Just felt like doing this little mock-up retro-RPG screen for funsies.

Felt like drawing a buff little dwarf, for nostalgia's sake.

Here's something I've kept to myself for a while, because it felt wrong to upload a video about loss and grief while I was posting lots of pictures of doggies. Though, now that we're past all that jolly stuff, here's a short little film about the emotions you go through after you've lost a parent!
