I think that sometimes, people forget that the entire point of msi was to be shocking and offensive. I also feel like many people that say "I like the music, not the band" aren't fully understanding the music. The music and the band obviously go hand in hand but more than usual. When you look at the band and their interviews and their personalities and their styles and everything about them, you can see how much their music reflects them as people. Idk maybe it's just me but most newer fans or tiktok fans aren't getting it.
