Sick Celestial Navigation Tony
For @hellogarbagetime who draws us beautiful Stony art and was feeling under the weather.
“Dude.  You sound like something’s about to burst out of your chest and kill the crew.  Would you go see a doctor, already?” Rhodey pleaded.   “Student clinic’s open.  We could—“
“You know I can’t go to the—ACHOO!—clinic,” Tony reminded him, then sniffed and snorted his way through another round of tissues.  “They can’t see Omegas there.  Have to go to the special Omega doctor.  Which means Steve would have to come back.  Besides, I’m not actually,”  Tony broke off as a fit of coughing hit him.  “That sick.”
“Uh-huh.  I’m texting him,” Rhodey told him, pulling out his phone.
“Noooooo,” Tony whined. Rhodey shot him a look, fingers hovering over the phone, sighed and set it down.
“Mind telling me why not? You’re sick.  Tony, come on, you need something more than,” Rhodey reached out and took a whiff of the top of Tony’s thermos.  “Orange juice and Red Bull?  Seriously?”
“Vitamin C,” Tony said weakly.
“You’re going to pass out, bang your head or something, and I’m going to have to unibomber myself out of Steve’s way,” Rhodey pointed out.  “I hear the Canadian wilderness is lovely this time of year.”
“He wouldn’t blame you,” Tony argued.
“I’ll take Theories I Don’t Want to Test for two hundred, Alex,” Rhodey replied.   “Tony, he’d want to know.  Why don’t you want to call him?”
“He’s busy.  And I’m not that sick, I told you,” Tony said, then sneezed again and made a soft grunting sound as he tried to breath in through his stuffed-up nose.  “It’s just a cold.  Everyone gets colds.  He’ll go to Def Con 3 over it.”
“He’s not going to get mad at you for being sick, Tony,” Rhodey insisted.  “Everyone gets sick.”
“No, I mean, he’ll be, like, ridiculously wonderful and do everything for me and get me my favorite foods–not just like soup and stuff, but pastas and cakes and the sushi from Monkfish, not that place on campus–and put all my favorite shows on queue where it skips the episodes I hate and bring me hot water bottles for my feet and stuff,” Tony replied, slumping down in his seat and rubbing his sleeve across his nose with a loud sniff.
“Yes.  Well. If he’s going to be like that about it, definitely don’t tell him,” Rhodey snarked.  “Spill. What’s the deal.  You got uber-Alpha at your beck and call, you look like an extra on the Walking Dead, and I know you feel like crap because you barely heckled Professor Zimmer over that propulsion system design.”
“I mean, if you want your electrosprays to do long-term pointing in the arcsecond range or better with practically no jitter, you can do it, is all I’m saying.  Eliminate the need for reaction wheels and magnetorquers, especially in missions beyond low Earth orbit, and give you more propulsive maneuverability.  It’s basic, really,” Tony argued with a shrug and reached for his death by vitamin C.
“Absolutely not,” Rhodey said, grabbing the thermos and twisting the cap back on.  “You have some kind of heart attack on this stuff and suddenly I’m responsible for cutting off the caffeine supply to millions of exam-taking college kids around the world when your Alpha goes all Last Unicorn on our friend Red Bull here.”
“Heh,” Tony laughed, then coughed.  “Can you imagine all that Red Bull getting shoved into the sea?  Wonder what that much caffeine would do–oh, hey, that could be the plot for Sharknado—what are we on?  Seven?”
“Oh God.  You’ve reached the Sharknado Plot Stage.  I’m texting him,” Rhodey said.
“Nooooooo,” Tony moaned and made a grab for the phone that ended up with him dropping his head to the table and laying there quietly.  “He’s going to make me miss class.  If I miss class, they’ll say it’s because I couldn’t handle the pressure or something. You wait. It’ll be, ‘First Omega at MIT Requires Sick Leave,’ or ‘Omega Stark Too Weak to Handle Rigors of College?’ or ‘College Omega Can’t Handle the Pressure’.  You wait.  They’re dying for me to screw up, Rhodey.  They’ve already gotten the tweets and headlines written.  ‘You Won’t Believe How Quickly Omega Stark Had to Take a Break from College.’”
“Ah,” Rhodey said, mouth flattening into a thin line.  “Tony, you’re sick.  Everyone gets sick.  Everyone misses class.  It doesn’t make you weak, and anyone who thinks otherwise is an idiot.”
“You didn’t say I was wrong, though,” Tony pointed out, then sneezed a succession of giant, body-wracking sneezes that nearly doubled him over.
“I’m texting him,” Rhodey said.
“Ngghuh,” Tony replied and pulled a wad of tissues out of his sleeve.  He looked up at Rhodey through watery eyes, then pillowed his head on his arms atop the table in front of him.  A moment later, he heard the familiar chime of the text alert and saw Rhodey glance at his phone screen, then over at Tony.  “What’d he say?” Tony asked blearily.
“That he’s on his way. That no one is going to say anything about you missing class,” Rhodey told him.
“Ugh.  He always does that.  Thinks the best about people, and you know he reads all those history books and, so, maybe he thinks, hey, the media used to do those propaganda films because the government wanted to sell war bonds, so maybe they’ll be cooperative or, like, actually have journalistic standards or something,” Tony said.
“I somehow don’t think his thought process went, hey, maybe people are good and the media will be nice,” Rhodey argued, probably reasonably, Tony couldn’t be sure.  Steve was coming home. Steve was coming home and would take care of him, and as much as he hated the idea of what everyone would say, he wanted Steve.  He wanted Steve to swoop in and make everything okay, because he really did feel truly, deeply shitty.
Rhodey got him back to the apartment by some means that did not involve more Red Bull, for which Tony would be forever grateful.  A Star Trek drinking game involving herbal tea and cup-o-soup for Tony and a series of Steve’s Yoo-hoos for Rhodey, who proclaimed them revolting and downed nearly a whole bottle whenever someone mentioned ‘an old earth saying,’ got them through most of the afternoon.
“Wesley’s talking to his mom. That’s a spoonful of soup for you,” Rhodey urged. “And another sip of this bad boy for me.”
“Do you have any idea how much sugar is in those things?” Tony asked.
“Red Bull, schmed bull. Put this crap in the ocean, those sharks really would fly.  Oh. Damn,” Rhodey paused, pulling a face.
“You see what you did there? You hit Sharknado Plot Stage. Cheers,” Tony said, clinking his Captain America mug to Rhodey’s bottle of the equivalent of chocolate flavored meth.
“There’s a lot of sugar in these,” Rhodey observed.  “How does he drink these things and stay looking like, you know.  That?” Rhodey asked, nodding up at a picture of Steve and Tony that hung on the wall.
“Crossroads demon,” Tony mumbled into his mug, then set it back on the table on one of the Captain America coasters he’d found at a comic book store one day.
“Figures,” Rhodey said.
Over his shoulder, Tony heard the familiar slide of a key ticking into the door lock and turned expectantly.  A moment later, the door open and Steve was there, all around him, enveloping him, and it felt so good, this solid wall he could sink into.  He took a shuddering breath and buried his head into Steve’s neck, where he could feel the heartbeat leap against his cheek.  A lingering kiss brushed across his forehead, and the arms that were holding him tightened.
“I’m fine,” Tony whispered, the words seeming to reverberate through Steve’s chest with a rumble, and he realized Steve was humming softly, like a low buzz that filled Tony’s ears and seeped into his skin, warming him, making his limbs go languid and boneless.
“Shhhh,” Steve soothed. A large hand covered Tony’s forehead for a moment.  Tony leaned into it.  He heard Steve make a clicking sound in his throat, and then felt the back of Steve’s knuckles trace over his cheek.  He looked up, sighed, and laid his head back down against Steve’s chest, looking down at Rhodey from where Steve had scooped him up.
“Guess you got this,” Rhodey said, standing up and bouncing a bit on his heels, eyebrows raising and a puff of air escaping his mouth.  “Whoo. So.  Sugar.  Good. Going to go, like, run home and maybe back again, then home, and I don’t know, do all my homework for the semester, then probably push-ups.  Pull-ups. Yeah.  Pull-ups.”
“You’re going to go home and crash,” Tony told him with a wobbly smile.
“That, too,” Rhodey agreed. He grabbed his jacket from the back of the sofa and headed for the door.
“Thanks, James,” Steve said.
“Anytime,” Rhodey replied. “I’ll get your classwork and find someone with good notes. Talk to the professors.  Don’t worry, okay?”
Tony nodded.  He was suddenly exhausted.  School, what people would think, what the press would say, it all seemed very distant, and Steve was right here, warm and strong and rather literally thrumming with concern.  Steve would take care of him.  That was what Steve did.
“Did you really try to go to class like this?” Steve asked as the door closed behind Rhodey.
“I was drinking plenty of fluids.  Ask Rhodey. Wait. Nevermind. Don’t ask Rhodey about that,” Tony amended.  “I’m sorry you had to cut your mission short.  Any chance it was one of those completely boring, everyday kind of routine missions that you go on just for kicks and free booze?”
“It wasn’t anything remotely as important as you,” Steve replied.  “Besides, we still accomplished our mission objective.  I’m told in far under the time parameters given for the op. So, see?  You helped, really, when you look at it that way.”
“Did you kill all the bad people because I had a cold?” Tony asked, then sniffed and scrunched his nose up. “Wow.  Every have one of those my-life-is-weird moments?”
Steve hefted him in his arms and walked towards their bedroom, setting Tony gently down on the bed.
“No.  I killed all the bad people because they were bad people,” Steve told him as he pulled the covers down and got Tony tucked in, adding the quilt from the end of the bed to the Tony-burrito he was apparently making.  “I killed all the bad people quickly because you have a cold.”
“They’re gonna say stuff about me on TV and those websites where they talk about vaccines making you sterile and sell that caveman Alpha powder,” Tony said as he flopped down on the stack of pillows Steve piled up behind him at an angle.
“They will not,” Steve replied with his usual obtuse confidence that the world seemed determined to reward with actual confirmation more often than not.  “Coulson’s on it.”
“Coulson can’t stop them. It’s like…a Constitutional thing,” Tony muttered, frowning.
“They’re not going to care about you missing a few classes,” Steve argued.
“Yes, they will.  You wait.  You always think people are like you, but they’re not,” Tony retorted.
“Most people are good, Tony. Most people are also easily distracted. Turn on the news.  You might find something that interests you.  If you’re done with your Star Trek thing, that is,” Steve said easily and handed Tony the remote.  He clicked it on and hit the button for the cable news.
“—found several months ago somewhere in the North Arctic, though government sources are not disclosing the precise location of the Captain’s plane—“ the news anchor recited before Tony hit the mute button.
“It was time,” Steve said at Tony’s incredulous look.   “Our allies know.  All the missions with SHIELD.  People will talk.  There will be pictures or video one of these days.  I kind of stand out. Thought it would be smart to get out in front of it.”
“Steeeeve,” Tony moaned, throwing his hands up in the air and letting them slam back down on the bed with a loud smack.  “You let them tell the world Captain America was found so…so they wouldn’t be mean to me?” Tony spluttered.
“I will always be your shield, Tony.  In whatever way I can,” Steve said as he sat down on the edge of the bed next to Tony’s side.  “No one’s going to care that some college kid misses a few classes with a cold.  And maybe Cap drops a few hints here and there about how he feels about the slow progress of Omega rights?  Stranger things have happened.”
“I love you.  You’re a—a complete—I don’t even know.  But, you’re that.  Totally.  And I love you, you big…thing that you are,” Tony grumbled and pulled the covers up to his chin.  “Do I have to go to the doctor?”
“I think it would be smart. But, I was once told rather firmly that it should be your decision, and while that does make me want to bend cutlery, I’ll settle for your promise to take care of yourself,” Steve prompted.
“When don’t I?” Tony asked, then sneezed and coughed at the same time.  A loud bang sounded, and both he and Steve turned towards the bedroom door, where a winded Rhodey appeared, grasping the doorframe for support as he wheezed.
“Oh my God!  Did you hear?  I can’t believe we missed it, Tones!  They found Captain America! The Captain America. With the shield and everything.  In the ice or something, can you believe this shit?  Holy shit!  Captain America! For real!” Rhodey panted.   “You gotta—oh, you’re watching it.  Turn it on! This is history, man, come on!” Rhodey said and walked to the other side of the bed, sitting down next to Tony and tossing the quilt over his feet, which jittered enough that Tony had to reach out a hand to get him to stop.  “Dude.  Captain America.  Can you imagine?  God, that’s gotta be such a trip for him, though.  Shit.  Bet he’s freaked the fu—hell out.”
“I’m sure he is,” Steve said as he slung his legs up onto the bed and shifted back against the pillows, wrapping an arm around Tony and pulling him to his chest.  “But, I bet the government has an absolutely brilliant plan to get him acclimated.”

Together - Word Count: 21.7k - Rating: M - Canon Divergence
During the Time Heist, Steve and Tony travel back to April 7th, 1970, only to get stuck there when an accident destroys the Pym particles. While they devise a plan to get back home, conversations uncover buried feelings and long-kept secrets that alter their relationship forever.

After Civil War, Tony and Steve are both a bit of a mess. Guilt and loneliness threaten to break them both, but each finds comfort in the emails of strangers they meet online. Tony writes to Sal, and Steve writes to Thomas, and neither of them have a clue who's actually on the other side.
take me away to you - Word Count: 13k - Rating: T - Getting Together, Long Distance Relationship
One perfect weekend. That's how it starts.
dust off your highest hopes - Word Count: 11.5k - Rating: T - Getting Together, College AU, Road Trips
When Tony misses his flight back home to New York for winter break, Bucky's quick to point out that Steve can drive him there himself. He's already headed that way, after all. It shouldn't be a problem.
Except for Steve's massive crush on him, of course.
you can call me babe for the weekend - Word Count: 10.8k - Rating: T - Non-Powered AU, Actor Tony Stark
Tony left his small town for Los Angeles after high school, leaving behind everything to pursue his dream. Ten years later, he comes back for the first time and finds that some things are impossible to let go of.
when it feels right - Word Count: 9.9k - Rating: G - Bakery AU
The one where Steve owns a bakery and Tony needs a job.
made your mark on me - Word Count: 8.8k - Rating: T - Tattoo Shop AU
It’s a Thursday, the first time that Tony walks into Steve’s tattoo parlor. Steve is behind the counter, passing the time between appointments by filling his sketchbook with new designs and reworks of older ones. He glances up at the chime on the door and has a welcome greeting on the tip of his tongue that dies at the sight of him.
never have i ever before - Word Count: 5k - Rating: E - High School AU
Steve and Tony have their first times together.
make me yours - Word Count: 4.2k - Rating: E - Established Relationship, Bottom Steve Rogers
Steve sighs, “With the way the serum made me look and the strength it gave me, I know you were expecting me to be, I don’t know, more dominant in bed, I guess. And I know it’s a fair assumption, I’m not saying it isn’t, but it’s not really true.”
picture me in the trees - Word Count: 3.8k - Rating: T - Non-Powered AU, Childhood Friends to Lovers
Tony and Steve were childhood friends that almost became more, but Tony moved and they lost their chance. Thirteen years later, a chance meeting brings Tony back into Steve's life.
you'll be mine and i'll be yours - Word Count: 3.2k - Rating: T - College AU, Getting Together
Five words ruin Tony's life.
“He doesn't love me back,” Steve says, and Tony feels his world crumble to pieces at his feet.
Steve loves someone, and Tony knows it isn't him.
believe me - Word Count: 3.1k - Rating: G - Getting Together
Truth serum is always good for bringing feelings to light.
your kind of heaven's (been to hell and back) - Word Count: 3.1k - Rating: M - Non-Powered AU, Prostitute Steve Rogers
Contrary to popular belief, Tony hasn’t done this before. He knows his own reputation, has enough self-awareness to recognize that not one single person would be surprised to find out he was doing this tonight, but all of them would be surprised to hear it was the first time. When you build a persona around being the charming playboy, paying for sex doesn’t seem too far off.
darling I fancy you - Word Count: 3k - Rating: G - College AU
Steve has had a plan for April fifteenth for months now. He’s finally back in New York tonight, officially done with the semester abroad in London that he and Natasha started in January. He loved England, but after months of conversations through text and brief phone calls alone, he just wants the taxi from the airport to drive faster to take him back home. Back to Tony, who Steve has been in love with for the better part of four years and is finally ready to tell how he feels.
come back, be here - Word Count: 3k - Rating: T - Canon Divergence, Getting Together
All things considered, it could have gone worse. Tony has a concussion that makes him feel dizzy and a couple of large gashes in his abdomen from where the suit had caved in just a bit that required more than a few stitches. Two broken ribs and a dislocated shoulder top it off, but he doesn’t need to be in the hospital for more than a day. He tells himself that the short stay is why Steve didn’t show.
cold coffee - Word Count: 2.4k - Rating: T - College AU, Meet Ugly
In retrospect, Steve can admit that he overreacted to the entire situation. His only defense is that he was already stressed out by the bad grade he got on his art project. It’s weak, he recognizes, but he worked really hard on that project and Professor Hill called it “contrived” and “unnecessarily complex.” He was fuming by the time he walked out of her office, having failed at arguing for a better grade, and getting freezing cold coffee spilled on him was really the icing on the top of the world’s worst cake. Can he really be blamed for blowing up on the guy?
this love came back to me - Word Count: 2k - Rating: G - Non-Powered AU, Getting Back Together
It's been two and half years since the last time Steve and Tony saw each other, but the pieces fall right back into place when a chance meeting connects them again.
fourth time's the charm - Word Count: 2k - Rating: T - Getting Together, First Kiss
Three times Steve's gifts for Tony didn't go as planned, and the one time it went right.
dreamt of you all summer long - Word Count: 2k - Rating G - Getting Back Together
Steve spends months after the breakup trying to forget Tony, but it never seems to work. That's alright, though, because Tony can't forget him either.
and that’s how it works - Word Count: 1.9k - Rating: T - Getting Together, Love Confessions
Steve is on the other side of the door, a small smile on his face and a plastic bag in his hand that he lifts up into the air to show. “I brought reinforcements.”
Tony steps back to let him in and asks, “Who told you?”
“Your boyfriend told me,” Steve confesses, then amends, “Ex-boyfriend.”
tomorrow - Word Count: 1.9k - Rating: G - Secret Relationship, Canon Divergence
“She’s just a friend, you know,” Natasha says, and Steve nods. He does know, because Tony told him himself a few days ago, then again tonight when he introduced her to everyone. But his hand was on her lower back, and hers was on his arm, and they were both smiling and so clearly familiar with each other that it didn’t matter that they’ve known each other since they were kids. All Steve could see was that someone else was Tony’s date for a gala he didn’t even want to come to in the first place, making the whole night that much more miserable for it.
like no one does - Word Count: 1.8k - Rating: G - Non-Powered AU, Parent Tony Stark
“So things were good?” Tony asks hesitantly. It was the first time Steve has been alone with Peter for more than five minutes since the start of their relationship eight months ago, and he wasn’t really sure if they were ready for that yet. The gala forced his hand though, as his usual babysitter couldn’t make it and everyone else had to be in attendance at the same event. He was intending just to skip it when Steve offered to look after him for the night.
almond bubbles - Word Count: 1.7k - Rating: E - Bottom Steve Rogers, Established Relationship
Steve is complete putty under Tony’s hands most of the time. From the moment his back hits the mattress, he’s pliable and eager to please. It’s nothing Tony ever imagined from him, but he loves the sight like none other.
don’t you - Word Count: 1.7k - Rating: T - Non-Powered AU, Breaking Up and Making Up
He knew it would happen sometime or another. At some party or event that Tony doesn’t even want to be at in the first place, or maybe crossed paths on the sidewalk or the grocery store. For a city with millions of people, it’s still near impossible to avoid someone forever in New York. Unfortunately, knowing he would run into Steve eventually doesn’t quite prepare him for the reality of it.
dip you in honey - Word Count: 1.6k - Rating: T - College AU, Getting Together
Steve likes to think he understands Tony these days. It took a while to get there, but after a year of being forced acquaintances and another two of actually being friends, Steve knows him well.
Even so, Tony still manages to throw him for a loop at least once a week.
until the sun comes up - Word Count: 1.6k - Rating: T - Historical AU, Secret Relationship
Tony spends most of his day waiting for the moment he can return to his bedroom. When he opens the door, Steve is there, sitting on the edge of his bed and leaning back on his elbows. His shoes and socks have been discarded already, tucked neatly against the far wall, and the top two buttons of his shirt are undone. The deep red of his sheets is a sharp contrast against Steve’s fair complexion, and Tony would be lying if he said that wasn’t why he likes the color so much. He looks up with a brilliant smile, and Tony feels something inside of him settle.
i'm the one who makes you laugh (when you know you're about to cry) - Word Count: 1.6k - Rating: T - College AU, Getting Together
Tony doesn’t like seeing Steve upset, but he always knows just how to put him back together again.
numbers are hard - Word Count: 1.6k - Rating: G - Established Relationship
Steve has been acting strange all day, and for the life of him Tony can’t figure out why. There’s nothing significant that strikes him about May 10th. He has a couple weeks to go until his birthday, five more days until the anniversary of their first kiss. May 10th couldn’t be less special if it tried, really.
tell me that it’s not too late - Word Count: 1.5k - Rating: T - Getting Together, Civilian Steve Rogers
In that cave in Afghanistan, Tony keeps seeing flashes of things. He sees Steve more than anything. Sees blue eyes and a bright smile and if he tries hard enough he can almost hear the laugh that comes with it. Sometimes it’s that first day again, with roaming hands and a rush to get off in the bathroom of some party he didn’t want to be at, followed by an easy grin and the promise to do that again sometime.
a perfect match - Word Count: 1.5k - Rating: T - College AU, Getting Together
This is always how it goes - with Tony flirting with someone else while Steve desperately wishes it was him.
to the moon and to saturn - Word Count: 1.4k, Rating: T, Childhood Friends to Lovers
Steve is nine years old when he falls in love for the first time.
stay stay stay - Word Count: 1.3k - Rating: G - College AU, Established Relationship
Tony has a vision in his mind for the day he graduates from college. It’s been there since he was just a kid and the furthest ahead he could imagine for himself was that day. At the time it seemed like a hundred years away, and it carried an allure of freedom that was nearly unfathomable back then. The reality ends up disappointing, until Steve changes that.
in the middle of the night - Word Count: 1.2k - Rating: T - Established Relationship, Non-Powered AU
Tony is used to not sleeping. Three hours a night, maybe four if he’s lucky and the insomnia and nightmares take it down a notch for a bit. Steve, however, is the early to bed and early to rise kind of guy. The kind that likes to pull Tony into his arms at the end of a date night and fall asleep together, and Tony doesn’t want to tell him that he never actually falls asleep on those nights. In the four months they’ve been together, Tony has become an expert of sneaking out and sneaking back in.
sleep without you - Word Count: 1k - Rating: G - Canon Divergence, Established Relationship
Steve flips channels mindlessly for a while, seeing flashes of dark water every time the screen goes black in between the changing images. After a while, he settles for a rerun of some sitcom he was in the ice for originally. He doesn’t know the characters, and he forces himself to focus on trying to understand the plot so that he can’t think of anything else. That’s probably why he doesn’t notice that he isn’t alone anymore until a hand is on his shoulder. Steve reaches up on instinct to grab at the other person’s wrist, jumping up from the couch.
with paper rings - Word Count: 907 - Rating: G - Canon Divergence, Marriage Proposal
Steve doesn't intend to do it, the first time. It’s just that it’s their first date, and he’s nervous, and all that there is to fiddle with is the straw wrapper from his drink.
two hearts in one home - Word Count: 754 - Rating: G - A/B/O Dynamics, Mpreg
Pregnancy tests should be instant, Tony thinks, because the waiting sucks. It feels like the rest of his life is being decided in five minutes, and that’s far too much time to get caught up in all of the what ifs.
anything you want - Word Count: 738 - Rating: M - Established Relationship, Bottom Steve Rogers
A continuation of make me yours
anytime - Word Count: 714 - Rating: G - Established Relationship, Kid Peter Parker, Pre-Serum Steve Rogers
Steve is there, holding Tony's sleepy one year old against his chest and stirring scrambled eggs on the stove with his free hand. He's murmuring quietly to Peter, low enough that Tony can't quite make out the words, but there's a soft smile on his face as he talks.
is it too soon to do this yet? - Word Count: 675 - Rating: G - Established Relationship, Love Confessions
The words slip out by accident the first time.
didn’t see a thing - Word Count: 667 - Rating G - Meet Cute
Steve twists around to ask what the hell is happening, but the boy puts a finger to his grinning lips and whispers, “If anyone asks, you didn't see anything.”
laundry day - Word Count: 593 - Rating: T - Established Relationship, Post Endgame
Tony sings under his breath as he folds another one of Steve's t-shirts, adding it to the growing stack next to the laundry basket. He reaches for another shirt, and that's when he sees the flash of movement.
meet me in the afterglow - Word Count: 583 - Rating: G - Established Relationship, Making Up
Tony hates the concept that you’re not supposed to go to bed angry. The reality of it is that sometimes he gets angry over nothing, and it would be better just to go bed a little bit angry on nights like those.
if the world was ending - Word Count: 574 - Rating: T - CEO Tony Stark, Assistant Steve Rogers
“You’re going to get us caught if you don’t be quiet,” Steve whispers into the column of Tony’s throat, lips brushing his skin before he places another biting kiss there.
much better - Word Count: 569 - Rating: G - Established Relationship, Pre-Serum Steve Rogers
Steve is sick, and Tony cuddles with him.
kiss me now - Word Count: 407 - Rating: T - Established Relationship
“I really want to kiss you right now,” Steve says, though it’s more of a slurred mess that Tony can just barely make out.
Tony laughs and rolls his eyes, “You are drunk off your ass.”
Bucky Barnes/Tony Stark
like dominos - Word Count: 64.5k - Rating: E - Marriage of Convenience, Friends with Benefits
When a knee injury costs Bucky his spot on the college football team and his scholarship, he isn’t sure how he’s going to pay for tuition anymore. Until he meets Tony Stark, who somehow makes getting married to a stranger sound like a brilliant idea.
baby kiss it better - Word Count: 23.5k - Rating: T
Tony's still reeling from his break up with Steve when he starts his freshman year at MIT. Maybe that's why he doesn't notice he's fallen in love with his roommate until it's already happened.
worth the wait - Word Count: 5.3k - Rating: T - Non-Powered AU
Tony and Bucky keep trying to have their first date, but are met with constant interruptions. It takes them six tries and a broken elevator to finally get there.
take it from me - Word Count: 4.5k - Rating: T - College AU
Tony's a terrible, clothes-stealing roommate, Bucky is annoyed, and somehow they fall in love.
orange skies - Word Count: 3.9k - Rating: T - Part One of the nutmeg and cinnamon Series - A/B/O Dynamics, Canon Divergence
When Bucky walks out onto the roof, he intends to be alone. His mind is a bit of a mess, and he can’t remember the last time he managed to sleep without a nightmare. The sky shifts from golden yellow to orange and pink while he stands there, his head as empty as he can make it. He doesn’t have to turn around when the door opens. Between the cadence of the footsteps and the wind that blows the scent of nutmeg and oranges his way, he knows for a fact that it’s Tony.
nutmeg nights - Word Count: 3.8k - Rating: E - Part Two of the nutmeg and cinnamon Series
Bucky thinks Tony wants to take it slow in their relationship, while Tony thinks that Bucky is the only reason they're waiting to have sex. When they realize their error, there's a lot of wasted time to make up for.
cinnamon dreams - Word Count: 2.7k - Rating: E - Part Three of the nutmeg and cinnamon Series
The heat is slow building at the beginning. It isn’t until Bucky walks through the lab doors and Tony is assailed by a rush of alpha pheromones that the heat hits him in full force, like a crashing wave that is intent on drowning him in desire and want.
like a daydream - Word Count: 1.9k - Rating: E - Part Four of the nutmeg and cinnamon Series
Tony stares at himself in the bathroom mirror, smoothing down the lace on his hips and biting his lip raw and red. He knows he looks good in the lingerie, with the lines of baby blue silk and edges of lace crossing over him and highlighting all of his best features. His bond mark is on full display, underlined by a section of lace, and it curves around his body like it was designed just for him. The set is nearly perfect on him, really.
But he’s terrified to walk out into the bedroom.
tangled up with you all night - Word Count: 3.7k - Rating: E - A/B/O Dynamics, Omega Bucky Barnes
“Hi,” Bucky says, nose still buried behind Tony’s ear where his scent is mixed with his shampoo, combining fragrant almond in with the rest of him.
“Are you busy?”
“Never too busy for you, angel.”
“Good, because I’m kidnapping you.”
working for you - Word Count: 3.1k - Rating: M - Non-Powered AU, Prostitute Bucky Barnes
Bucky is dealing just fine with being in love with his one and only client, but when Tony decides to end their arrangement, he’ll put everything on the line to keep him.
built to fall apart (then fall back together) - Word Count: 2.9k - Rating: M - Non-Powered AU, Breaking Up and Making Up
There's a ring on Bucky's finger.
It's the first thing Tony notices when he walks into the bar for Natasha and Sharon's joint bachelorette party. He thinks about turning around and not coming back, just ditching the event entirely and maybe even the wedding tomorrow, but he tosses the ridiculous thought the second it comes. He promised Sharon when she asked him to be her man of honor that he could handle Bucky being Nat's. He could deal with one day of being cordial to his ex, even if the day comes with walking down an aisle together.
But now there's a ring on Bucky's finger.
bucky vs the future - Word Count: 2.3k - Rating: T - Canon Divergence, Getting Together
There are a lot of things about the future Bucky isn't very good with. Living with aliens, having seven remotes that all do different things, fancy coffee machines, and emoji language, to name a few. But that's what Tony's always there for.
better in the morning - Word Count: 2.2k - Rating: T - Non-Powered AU, Breaking Up and Making Up
Tony loses track of what the fight is about fairly quickly. He knows it started with what seemed like playful bickering, but somewhere along the way the jabs turned much more pointed. Barbed wire wrapped around them, until each one was like a knife wound.
wreck my plans - Word Count: 1.8k - Rating: E - Non-Powered AU, Established Relationship
Bucky takes another couple steps forward, hands on Tony’s hips, and he whispers into Tony’s ear, “I was strong enough to hold you up against the wall yesterday, remember?”
lay all your love on me - Word Count: 1.8k - Rating: T - Established Relationship
It shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise after the text to see Bucky there, perched in the branches of the large sycamore in his parent’s backyard, but Tony still has trouble believing his eyes.
sunflower - Word Count: 1.8k - Rating: T - Marriage Proposal
Fifteen months is a long time to have been away with the army, but it's always worth the wait to have Tony back in his arms.
Matchmaker - Word Count: 1.1k - Rating: G - Getting Together, Meet Cute
“So are you really using your dog to find you a date?”
the right fit - Word Count: 1k - Rating: T - Established Relationship, College AU
A continuation of take it from me
smooth delivery - Word Count: 1k - Rating: T - Getting Together, Misunderstandings
It’s always a good night if Bucky gets to see Tony on one of his pizza deliveries, even if the moments never last more than a minute or two at a time.
with you i’m safe - Word Count: 840 - Rating: G - Established Relationship
Saying “I love you” isn’t as scary with the right person.
make me, dollface - Word Count: 776 - Rating: T - Established Relationship
Bucky and Tony reminisce on their first meeting.
kiss me slowly - Word Count: 413 - Rating: G - Established Relationship
Bucky’s favorite observations about Tony came after they started dating
James Rhodes/Tony Stark
those rude interruptions - Word Count: 3.4k - Rating: T - Non-Powered AU, 5+1 Things
The story of six kisses over the years.
Waiting For You - Word Count: 3.4k - Rating: T - MIT Era
Tony sits up, resting his chin on his knees and wrapping his arms around his shins. “Will you kiss me right now? I don’t want to be unkissed anymore.” “Ask me again when you’re older.”
your hips, your lips (they're mine) - Word Count: 1.4k - Rating: E - Established Relationship
“This is a spectacularly bad idea,” Rhodey murmurs against Tony’s lips. He slides his hand lower down Tony's side anyway.
take me home (forever and ever) - Word Count: 930 - Rating: G - MIT Era, First Dates
Their first date is as close to perfect as it comes. It was almost like any other night between them, except Rhodey held his hand on the sidewalk and on top of the table, and then he kissed him in front of the door at the end of the date.
in my favorite t-shirt - Word Count: 901 - Rating: T - MIT Era, Established Relationship
It's no secret that Tony has a thing for wearing Rhodey's clothes.
Steve Rogers/Bucky Barnes/Tony Stark
two is better than one - Word Count: 22.2k - Rating: T - College AU
Steve and Bucky are best friends and roommates, but both fall for Tony the moment they meet him. It shouldn't be too complicated if they both date him, right?
choose us - Word Count: 2.6k - Rating: T - College AU
“Are you honestly telling me that it doesn’t bother you?” Tony gestures across the dining hall, where Steve is currently chatting with Maria Hill like they’re the best of friends. He’s laughing at something she said, head tossed back and his eyes doing that crinkling thing around the corners.
Bucky looks over and stares at the pair with a forlorn expression, sighing as Steve laughs even louder at whatever she says next. “Alright, yeah, I hate her, too.”
proving a point - Word Count: 1.5k - Rating: T - A/B/O Dynamics, Mpreg
Steve is stubborn, but Bucky and Tony always know just how to make him give in.
pancakes and stuffed bears - Word Count: 2k - Rating: T - A/B/O Dynamics, Mpreg
A continuation of proving a point
Sam Wilson/Tony Stark
your love’s always finding me out - Word Count: 2.1k - Rating: G - Canon Divergence, Getting Together
Sam doesn’t realize how much attention Tony pays to him, until he does.
trouble’s gonna follow - Word Count: 1.1k - Rating: T - Getting Together, Non-Powered AU
It starts with a cute guy coming up to him at the bar just a few seconds after Sam walks in, and he’s completely Sam’s type. He’s a little on the shorter side, with dark brown hair and eyes almost the exact same shade, and there’s an easy grin on his face that tells Sam that he knows exactly how attractive he is. The only problem is that his initial greeting of “Hey there, handsome,” is immediately followed by “would you mind pretending to be my date for the next ten minutes or so?”

I really wanna see a thing where the reclusive prince of Gotham has to fend for himself while the Wayne's elusive butler recovers in the hospital. Bruce who phones Alfred like,
"Should I peel the eggshell before or after I boil the water?"
"Bloody hell,--"
" Alfred, how much is a tablespoon? What do I get? Where do I buy that? I need PRECISE measurements. "
"You're handling salt and pepper, not Chernobyl radioactives."
"I might be."
Alfred's not bothered, -- this is the same walk as always, just a few more bruises, burns, and a leg cast.
But can you imagine his surprise when Bruce, piano smooth voice a little worried, whispering, " Alfred? How do you make animal shaped pancakes?"
"Master Bruce, how utterly unbecoming. A bloke your age shouldn't be eating pancakes...Unless he plans to share?"
"They're not for me. They're for Jay."
Alfred hears the lough shatter of what's sure to be his favorite porcelain dove, a tiny, babyish giggle, and Bruce sighing in bemusement.
His heart monitor goes up.

Thinking about the idea of the justice league reading gossip articles about Bruce after they find out he’s Batman and I’m losing it.
“Bruce Wayne makes a splash Friday night, drunkenly takes swim in fountain”
“Bruce Wayne third rendezvous this week??”
“Another messy night escapade for Bruce Wayne”
“Tipsy Bruce Wayne takes spill into cake, wears it well”
This is the guy that redefined fear?
It gets even better thinking about after Bruce starts adopting, cause now that entire family is in the headlines. Somehow the league has to align the mental image of the Wayne’s with the Batfamily.
“Dick Grayson, eldest Wayne boy, sails through air on chandelier at charity benefit” this guy filled in as Batman on numerous occasions
“Jason Todd caught leaving ‘kick me’ sticky notes on a drunken Bruce Wayne’s back at Saturday’s Wayne gala” like, that’s the red hood??
“Bruce Wayne’s boy Tim Drake asleep in salad next to partying billionaire” the dude who hacked the watch tower last Tuesday?
“Youngest Wayne, Damian, and sister Cass seen mimicking stumbling father as loyal butler intervenes” …The league are still terrified of these two
Like, how are they supposed to wrap their heads around the fact that these guys are somehow the scourges of the underworld who haunt Gotham.

I just know for a fact that Dick was a complete menace when going to the grocery store with Alfred as a child. He was definitely one of those kids who broke all the candy bars in half when their guardian wasn’t looking.
