A friend of mine would get nervously awkward and say “She’s allergic to alcohol” before I could speak, if we were at a bar and someone asked if I needed a drink. It made me so mad. I would say “No, actually I just rarely drink, but I wouldn’t mind a Sprite” and NO ONE every thought negatively of it, just her. Then again I was well out of college. I even frequented a dirty old punk bar & the bartenders would even say “Pepsi?” when they saw me, and didn’t blink an eye. Lesson: it’s not awkward unless someone is an asshole, just like the rest of life

Remember when Welcome to Night Vale sort of exploded all over tumblr?

During that time I spent a ridiculous amount of time creating a cross stitch pattern to ease my mind between episodes.

That pattern being the Welcome to Night Vale logo made up entirely by Satellite High’s “The Bus Is Late (Waiting For The Bus In The Rain)”, which was featured during the weather section is WTNV’s second episode “Glow Cloud”.

Yes, that has all the lyrics, and yes, I listened to the song on repeat while working on this. This song was a permanent part of my dreams for about three weeks.

I’ve not had time to myself to start this, believe me I will, but I was going through my files and thought some other people might want to try their hand at it.
