Sands Of Time Come Calling Home

Saitou had been closed off for quite a long while to his friends and to his Shitennou. It had not been easy as something was off and he could not place it for the life of him. He had been having trouble sleeping without being plagued of worries both demonic and personal. His grandfather had been growing sicker once again and he was left with a decision to make with that in the balance. As cold as he had been, he had written down a list of sorts and notes to be delivered to one address. There was one large note for the whole of the Shitennou he intended to leave with Jadeite. 'I know this will hurt you all greatly but I am afraid I have to leave the country for an undisclosed amount of time. My grandfather is very ill and I have to be with him at this time. I have been battling with visions of this on the horizon and it is why I have become so cold to all of you. It was not my intention to make any of you feel like I was purposely shutting you out due to hate. That is not true. I care for all of you in many ways.  You have been my small family here and I hope you all can move forward in getting stronger without me here. Caspian, I know you can grow to do great things. I will always love you. Jadeite, you have great potential in keeping up with your boyfriend's training and in helping everyone out. Nariaki, as much as we have disagreed, we have always settled on doing what is best for the others, haven't we? You have great potential in you that is waiting to be unlocked further. Jadeite can help you as an Caspian in expanding your horizons to whatever you wish to reach to. You will all do well in whatever you wish to accomplish. I wish you all to be safe with enemies lurking about and perhaps someday I may return to Japan again. For now, my home calls for me and I must go.' He finished the note and sighed only to look up to the ceiling. His flight was leaving soon but he knew he could make it well enough. Finishing up packing his bags, he left most of his things in the apartment to museums for the artwork but his sword always returned home with him. His motorcycle would later be found at Nariaki's with a note saying to be careful and to enjoy it. The truck of his was left for either Jadeite or Caspian to take the keys to use. They all could use those items much more than he ever could where he was going. Saitou picked up his last bag and left for the airport with a taxi and didn't look back. He felt his own heart growing heavy but his decision had been made. Egypt needed it's King back.

OOC: The Time Has Come

I'm afraid my fickle muse has left for the second time on me. I have tried getting into the feel of Kunzite over and over but each time I hit the roadblock harder. I cannot force myself to write for him without feeling pain and so it is time I allow someone else to take his place.

I am well aware of the feels this will create but I need to do this to be responsible for my fleeting muse. I will work on a closing post setting Kunzite up for his departure in order to leave the spot fresh and open for someone else to come and lay claim to him. Been a nice ride but when you start to hate the way you write for a character, it's time to let go.

Saitou shook his head a bit before moving to rest his hands behind his head. "I have no allergies and cook whatever you like. I'll try anything once." he remarked only to close his eyes. He did feel a little more relaxed despite fighting with himself a bit with a few things. "I imagine you are doing well for one another."

“Good, I’d hate to have to try re-freezing you. You’d probably come out looking like Old Man Winter,” he teased as he placed the bags on the counter. “Any food allergies I should watch out for? Preferences, dislikes, speak now or forever shut up and eat.” He slipped off his jacket and shrugged. “As well as anyone else; the two of us are taking care of each other. I’ll let him know you wish him well.”

It would do Nariaki good, as he still worried about Saitou’s opinion of him.

OOC: Hey Guys?

I just want to apologize to those waiting on any responses for me on either Kunzite here, or Taiki. I'm pretty drained right now from dealing with old barb wire, wrapping up straight wire, and pulling out five foot posts from being pounded into the ground a good foot in. In the middle of getting fencing moved around the let the fillies in at the taller grass, I may have fluctuating abilities of responding to anything I owe due to mood and exhaustion.

The work is straining already partly strained injuries and I don't want to come off as moody to anyone on purpose. It may only be another day of handling the fencing job. It's not like I'm fencing in ten acres, only the old donkey pen with a running brook through it. I nearly fell backwards into that without being able to see it (grass is as tall as I am), and I'm pretty sure I may end up falling into it regardless when walking the two young horses through it.

Anyway, enough of my running on and on and ranting. I just want you all to know what's going on and that I haven't forgotten I owe people.

Saitou felt how much warmer her hand was than his own. He at times forgot his ability to manipulate his temperature with his abilities of ice and sighed gently. She was warm nonetheless and he hoped they could forge a sort of friendship and comradery without any strings attached. Listening to her, he couldn't help but chuckle softly. "We talk on other things. More interest related perhaps in order to forget the darkness we both feel stuck in?"
