From Sonidos Distintos:
“Our 25th reference is finally here as a special edition including an array of artists with a common denominator: the genre Acid. It thus becomes a tribute to this particular style which has been a significant influence for Dance Music as a whole. Four artists deliver four Acid-inspired tracks with the aim to delight House tempo-oriented ravers. Mystic Future is the result of Lil Van and Yannick Robbins union: two experienced and significantly active DJs, who have joint forces from Barcelona and Berlin, in order develop a concept with an Electro air to it, and which is perfectly reflected on Day & Night, the opening track for the record. MarioF takes part on a VVAA once more, with a track which, despite having been produced five years ago, has become a killer hit in his live performances. AcidCtrack strikes as both, a chill-inducing tune and a wakeup call for the most primitive instincts on the dance floor. We would also like to greet Bunsen, an old-time Acid lover and a true must in this compilation. Advanced Spoon Research staggers between low BPM Trance music with an epic edge to it, analogical sounds, and a suggestive use of effects. The last track comes all the way from Seville and it is the work of Fonome’s craftiness and ability. Pleading for the party not to end by means of this Progressive tune, leading to a sound labyrinth where one just wants to remain lost.”

Fonome follows up his debut release on his own label FONOS, with a second round of tracks centring on psychedelic techno rhythms.
"Another Psychedelic Afternoon" lunges in with minimalistic percussion, acidic bass lines and radio voices. The progression of the track keeps one moving while the fluctuation in the velocity and warmth of the sound keeps the explorative side of the acoustics and rhythm flowing. "Performer" switches the mood into a darker tone with rolling waves of industrial synths creating a contrasting groove between high speed lighter synths and heavier drum and bass rolls before the second part of the track reshapes the track into more minimalistic and aggressive dance floor weapon.
Orbe jumps on the remix tip by reshaping Another Psychedelic Afternoon into a break beat and industrial infused hurricane of a track. The pitch changes and phases of various sounds provide for a perfect flowing rhythm. RNGD takes on Performer by adding further minimalistic tones to the second part of the original track and elongating it with extended rhythm and swing.

Fonome - Black Pigeon (Eduardo de la Calle Rmxs)
Written a few years ago, Black Pigeon is one of Fonome’s first produced tracks. Freshly re-mastered in 2018, the track emerges as the first release of the new producer’s self-run label FONOs.
The original engulfs in deep and dark tones with synthesiser orchestrations vividly portraying talk, communication and agonizing cry of cybernetic pigeons, while the other tracks are variations of the original as reworked by Eduardo de la Calle. The remixer employs jazz elements to introduce further variety of rhythm and sense of floating through time while exploring monotones, layering and space in other parts of his two remix version work with thematic hints and references to space flights aboard the Nostromo.
