Note: I haven’t seen a translation, just summaries, of this anywhere so I decided to give it a shot. I’m not fluent in Japanese (also I’m not a native English speaker), so this won’t be a literal/accurate translation, but I’ll try my best to convey the main points of the interview! This is my first time attempting an interview, so please be kind to me!

The Danganronpa series doesn’t only get “V3″ with a new setting and completely new characters, but also the final part the finale “3″ for the story of “1″, “2″, and the spin-off, “Ultra Despair Girls”. How did it come to this new approach? To find out about both works, we asked the two key producers, Terasawa Yoshinori and Kodaka Kazutaka.

Horrortober day 10: “Where are you?” Remnant! Akane

Ownfonsje not me forgetting to publish this the day it was written-

The sound of water dripping in the open and hallow room was the only sound you could hear as you tried to calm your breathing, a hand firmly placed over your mouth and nose.

How did you manage to escape again? Running from a woman like Akane was impossible, she had the nose of a wolf and strength that matched an entire army, despite the fact she would constantly starve herself. Escape was like some sort of far off dream, yet here you were. Hiding in some sort of giant storage room that somehow had perfect hiding spots, and was empty enough to have a echo that would definitely tell Akane where you were if you weren’t careful.

“Heeey! Where are you?” Akane called out, stepping into the room with her footsteps echoing. You gasped, but with your hand muffling your sound it was hard to hear. Of course, unless you were Akane. But strangely enough she didn’t seem to hear you, which was odd considering how sharp her senses were.

“Ya know, I kept you around to keep me company. All my classmates are so busy working and all that I barely have anything to do! All I do is train and lay around starving. Hell Coach Nekomaru barely has time to spar with me! But you’re perfect to keep me busy! Perfect to practice throwing punches on.” She punched a nearby crate, and you could hear the pieces clatter against the metal floor. “Perfect to swing around.” She picked up a crate and flung it in your direction, making it shatter against the wall and rain splinters above your hiding place in a open crate. “Just the perfect punching bag in general!” She began to walk over to your hiding spot, and as a result you began to hyperventilate.

The crate flipped over, and you fell out and landed right by Akane’s feet. She grabbed you by the scruff of your shirt and lifted you up, a crazed look in her eyes that were swirling with despair.

“Found you. Now let’s go, I have a new fighting style I need to practice.”
