yoon jiah:
To: OPEN Location: Jiah’s apartment, with two dogs, take-out, videogames and thoughts about zombie apocalypse
Jiah had both of her dogs by her side. She was watching the TV when saw the current state of the main character of the game starting to decay but that wasn’t news. She died at least five times in that route, and they weren’t even playing for half an hour yet. She sighed in frustration and shook her hand, dismissing the control, “you try again, I’ll end up killing Joel myself if he dies again,” she says with a huff. She had the idea of playing the first game before they released the second part a couple of weeks ago, and seeing as time was never on their side, she thought it would be better to start it as soon as possible. She didn’t take into consideration that she would be so rusty.
She pulls her older dog, Kyun to her lap and pats its head, a sudden contemplative, dramatic look in her eyes, “do you think we would live long if we were in a situation like that? I personally thing that Kyun would do a much better job surviving, but we never really know right?”
YUNHO WASN’T REALLY ALL THAT big on video games. he knew that it was pretty unusual for a guy, especially one in his twenties, to not be interested in gaming or playing the latest video game that dropped on the market, but he had always been too busy focusing on other things, such as acting, from a young age, so he never really got involved or invested in them. he had quite a few friends who had though, and while he didn’t play, he did enjoy watching them play. it was amusing to see them get so worked up over a fictional plot line and fictional characters. but then he got roped into playing them himself. he rolled his eyes and took the controller from her, restarting the game.
“i don’t particularly think about things like that.. like, what’s the point? it’s most likely never going to happen. the idea of zombies existing is improbable because there’s no life after death.” he believed in a lot of things - aliens being the biggest conspiracy he believed in, but zombies didn’t fall under that category.

ella yeung wing:
“no, close the curtains please. it’s sunny outside.” ella didn’t even bother to open her eyes, or even lookup. curling her body up in a ball resting her body down on the softest surface she first set her eyes on. sporting an oversized black hoodie, leggings and socks.
“THAT’S EXACTLY WHY I’M OPENING the curtains,” yunho stated, not even bothering to close the curtains back when she began to complain about the extra light that began to shine throughout the room. “you’re not going to spend your whole time wallowing in the dark. if you were going to do that, you could’ve just stayed at home instead of coming over here.”

min sohye:
ㅤ` ♡ :ㅤ the table’s absolutely covered with papers and open books, pens scattered about haphazardly as sohye runs through her notes with a purple highlighter. it wasn’t exactly required for her to know much more japanese than it would take to get her through an interview and a brief ment, but she was genuinely invested in learning. focusing on studying could get her mind off the millions of other thoughts that would try to push into her brain, and having a study buddy only made things easier. she looks over at her partner now, pen tapping rhythmically against her notebook. “memorizing kanji is really going to be my death,” she sighs, glancing down at all the characters she’s neatly written down. “how’re things going for you?”
WITH AS MUCH TIME AS origin spent in japan, yunho had picked up a decent knowledge of the language. he wouldn’t call himself fluent per se, but he was decent enough to answer basic questions and introduce himself. with every trip to japan and every japanese release, his speaking and reading skills progressed though, so when sohye said she was working on her japanese, he figured it was the perfect time to brush up on his own skills. “once you get the hang of it, it’s not really that hard. personally, i think that the best way to learn it is to put it into practice. reading and writing it all the time won’t help you get any better.” he looked down at his notebook, which was mostly blank because he spent the majority of the time on his phone. “things are going great. never better over on this end.”

son sohee:
“i’m suffering, this is it,” the idol exclaimed dramatically, lurching over her couch with a pouting, pained expression, “get me a pen and paper, it’s time to write my will.” it was a well known thing that sohee couldn’t cook to save her life, in fact, her diet of whatever she could find or what was just given with her was bound to have her organs begging for any source of genuine nutrition that they could find. but sohee had decided to try and at least give some flair to her meal - which was still just a noodle pack, though she was determined to at least add something to it; cue the over spilling bag of chilli flakes that she’d put into it. and by the time she’d tasted it the first time, she was too stubborn ( i.e. hungry ) to not finish the abomination she’d made, resulting in a less than happy, over spiced sohee. “help me,” she huffed, looking at her friend.
“I’M NOT REALLY SURE WHAT you expect me to do.” yunho snorted, rolling his eyes at the younger idol’s dramatics. he was currently digging through his own container of takeout food, using his chopsticks to make sure that it was properly mixed together, before shoveling a large portion of it into his mouth. “i offered to get you something when i was on my way over here, but you insisted on eating your noodles. i wasn’t even going to try to stop you from adding the chilli flakes. you should’ve known that was going to be a bad idea.” he clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth. “now look at you. suffering.”

oh minzy:
minzy sighed, glancing at the alarm clock on her bedside table. 4:27 am. she’d need to be up far too soon. should she even bother sleeping? she’d failed up until then, and whenever she’d managed recently, she’d get sleep starts repeatedly. she eased out of bed, tugging on a vaguely appropriate outfit consisting of a flannel over the wifebeater she’d worn to sleep and jeans. makeup-less and leaving dark circles bared to the world, she left the apartment, trusting eunah would call or text if she noticed something amiss.
she ended up at the convenience store. stirring coffee as she sat on the sidewalk. looking up at a familiar face, she offered a near smile. “ you’re out late. or is it early? either way… you okay? ”
IT WAS VERY RARE THAT yunho couldn’t find himself being able to sleep. after a long day of completing origin’s schedules, he usually found himself exhausted enough to make it through a glass of wine and a neatly rolled joint before passing out until he had to wake up the next morning. but for some reason, even after his usually nightly ritual, he found himself staring up at his ceiling for hours on end. it wasn’t until he realized it was after four in the morning that he decided trying to sleep was a fruitless effort. he got up and got dressed in a pair of sweatpants and a hooded sweatshirt, then ventured to the nearest convenience store.
he raised an eyebrow when he spotted someone sitting on the sidewalk outside of the convenience store. he thought it was a homeless person at first, but upon closer inspection, he realized that it was another idol. “i think both would work.” yunho stopped in her vicinity, looking down at her while he spoke. “i’m fine, just couldn’t sleep. you?”

gan seyeon:
when: the second week of september 2019 open ! this thread could be yours!
“Thanks for coming along!” Seyeon’s eyes sparkled with mirth, making his smile almost visible in spite of the face mask hiding most of the bottom half of his face. “I could’ve come here alone but…” He returned his attention to the cat section of the pet shop, shoulders falling a little in distress at the wide range of choices. “It helps to have someone along so I don’t take three million years to make choices.” The dancer dug up his phone from his pocket and showed his company the lockscreen excitedly. “Look! That’s him! My cute soon-to-be feline son! His name is going to be Dimitri!” He bounced on the spot, excitement radiating from his form. “Sorry, I’m… a bit much right now. I know. I’ve just been waiting for this for a while now. If you want to you’re very welcome to stop by once he’s gotten used to his new home and give him head pats!”
“YOU’RE JUST LUCKY I DIDN’T have anything else better to do,” yunho responded with a flippant flick of his hand, barely sparing seyeon a glance before his eyes flickered back towards the plentiful amount of cats in cages that filled the room. as nonchalant and dismissive as he tried to be, yunho himself was a little excited about being in the pet shop. he was a pet parent himself, having a little yorkie puppy named nala back at his home, and he loved being around other animals. maybe he could adopt another while he was there? that was a big motivational push in him accepting seyeon’s offer to go along with him. “because we know how indecisive you can be,” he commented, before looking down at the phone pointed at him. “dimitri? where’d you get that name from?” he asked, quirking up an eyebrow. “he’s cute though. maybe i’ll take you up on that offer.”

kwon kitae:
maverick couldn’t help but let out an amused snort at yunho’s straight forward answer. it was clear the older wasn’t a fan of the water for whatever reason, but that wasn’t gonna stop maverick from enjoying them for a second. “it is, most parties we get forced into are,” he stated, knowing that the parties some of the idols would prefer to have would cause company wide scandals and years of damage control, so he’d deal with what they were given. “we all kind of sold our souls to them when we signed contracts, they can force us into whatever they think will make money.” maverick was entirely aware of the fact that gold star viewed him more as a sell-able product rather than human, but after close to seven years after debut, he know there weren’t many years left in his contract, he would be free to pursue whatever soon enough. he just hoped the last years weren’t filled with terrible projects, he had been lucky to avoid modeling and acting and wanted to keep it that way.
“I WAS NEVER SUPPOSED TO be here though. at least not as a member of origin.” it was quite obvious to see that yunho was still bitter over the fact that he was practically forced into being in an idol group. he wanted to be an actor, he never wanted to be in a group, singing and dancing and touring around the world. sure, being famous was nice, but he was already destined to be famous regardless of being in origin or not. given who his parents were, his connections in the acting world, and his acting abilities, he would have been a big actor by now. unfortunately, his acting portfolio was being kept from developing because of his schedules with the group. “i should have sold my soul to the actual devil instead of this company. at least i would be able to do what the fuck i want and not what i’m told to do.”

𝐂𝐀𝐔𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐔𝐒𝐋𝐘 𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐃𝐄𝐑, shieon did his best to ensure that the two of them weren’t being followed, or that they weren’t being seen either — yunho’s voice breaking the silence whenever he spoke, and whenever he heard that familiar voice call over to him, his heart would stop beating so fast ; the rush of the risk causing him to worry, but for what ? he was sure that all he was concerned about wouldn’t blossom into fruition, so he quelled himself by looking straight ahead towards the taller male — his pupils dilating as they studied the posterior of his muscular frame. “ no, you haven’t — i just get freaked out easy, ” the smaller waved off almost, shaking his head. “ i guess i just never thought that i’d ever get some strange opportunity to smoke, y’know ? can’t blame me for being a little paranoid. ” it was true though — korea had such strict views on recreational drug use that, throughout all of his life, shieon knew that he wasn’t going to be able to try anything even if he wanted to. how yunho was able to get his hands on some surprised him, but he wasn’t going to complain. “ my schedules are alright, i guess. still busy as ever, but i probably will be for a very long time. our promotions for ‘ superhuman ’ just ended, but ‘ wakey wakey ’ just dropped in japan, so there’s that. i guess i’m just glad that you all are having a concert — gives me some time off, and it also is a perfect expect for me to see you, hah. ” was that too sentimental and corny ? probably. “ what about you, huh ? you’re always on the road, or filming shit. ”
“WILL YOU KNOCK IT OFF?” yunho rolled his eyes at the him. he could practically feel the paranoia coming off of him in waves, and he couldn’t deny that it was starting to irritate him just a little bit. “you’re going to fuck up my high if you keep doing that shit. no one’s going to come back here, alright? now just relax and stop stressing. jesus, you’re more skittish than a rabbit with it’s foot caught in a trap.” he placed the rolled up joint in between his lips, holding up his lighter and flicking it a few times until it finally lit. “it’s not a big deal, it’s just weed, man. not everything that’s illegal is bad for you, just like how not every legal is good for you. weed doesn’t hurt you nearly as much as alcohol or cigarettes do, but you can’t walk down the street for five minutes without seeing someone smoking a cigarette, fucking up their lungs. and assholes go out and get wasted to the point of no return every night, fucking up their liver. what’s a little weed going to do? make you hungry and sleepy?” he snorted, before taking in a deep pull. he allowed the smoke to fill his lungs for several seconds before he breathed it out slowly. “good luck on wakey wakey then. are you going to japan for it? to see me, huh?” he scoffed, although he smiled slightly at his words. “honestly, i don’t even know what my schedule looks like. i just go wherever my manager tells me to.” he took another quick pull, before holding it out to him.

kwon kitae:
maverick had been put into his first swimming lesson at the age of three. other parents that were in the social circle his parents deemed acceptable had put their kids in the same classes at that age and they decided to follow suit, something about keeping the young boy at the same level as his “friends” and also allow for optimal social time. he had ended up loving the sport, out of the many sports he did, swimming had been the longest. he had even considered continuing when he went to university before he became a trainee. “i won’t start sinking, no worries, you won’t have to get wet,” he teased, standing near the edge of the pool, though in the water, taking a sip of his own soju he had resting on the ledge. “do you not like to swim?”
“NOPE.” THE ANSWER WAS BLUNT and didn’t hold any bit of hesitation. yunho completely despised swimming, and he never really talked to anyone about exactly why he did. it wasn’t really anyone else’s business but his own after all. he sipped at his drink slowly, leaning back in his chair and letting out an annoyed sigh. “this party is boring. i can’t believe we were forced to show up.” he finished off the rest of his drink, setting it down on the nearest table. “actually, i can believe that. gold star loves to force people to do shit they don’t want to do.” he hated the fact that outsiders saw gold star as some sort of great company that cared about their artists when at the end of the day, they were just as bad as all of the others.

why is gold star media and the gold star nation family so special to you?
IT TOOK EVERYTHING IN HIM not to roll his eyes and groan out loud. nothing about gold star was special to him. if he could turn back time, he wouldn’t have auditioned at all, he would have much rather gone to another company that would actually let him do what he was good at - which was act. the only thing he got to use his acting skills for these days was for times like these where he had to pretend to be happy. “gold star was the company that took me in when i first graduated from high school. every other company wanted me because of who my parents are, but i could tell that gold star really cared - and still does care, about me and my well being. i’ve learned so much from them, and from the other artists here under the label. i just.. really feel at home here. there’s nowhere else i’d rather be than right here.” gag.
what song are you most excited to perform tonight?
“i think i’m the most excited to perform idol. the song is really fast paced and high energy, and i love the choreography that goes along with it. i know it’s a song that a lot of our fans enjoy a lot too, so i can’t wait to see everyone singing along and screaming the fanchants. that just makes the song even better in my opinion.”
what does it feel like to perform in such a big venue?
“the boys and i have performed in venues this size before, but it still feels like the first time every time we get the opportunity to do so. it’s a strange combination of excitement and anxiety.. i feel nervous, but i feel confident at the same time. it’s confusing to try to explain, but if you ever stand on the stage, you’d understand exactly what i’m trying to say.”
please share a support message of encouragement for gold star idols for the concert. if you have close friends under the company, this can be specific. otherwise, it can be general
“..good luck! fighting.” he was so over it.

HE WASN’T REALLY SURE HOW he had landed himself in that particular situation. his friend had kept bugging and pressing him about dating and exploring his options. he didn’t want to tell her that he had already kinda-sorta started semi-seeing someone. he wasn’t sure what to call what they had, but it wasn’t just friendship, and accepting a blind date with someone else felt wrong. he had to shut her up somehow though, so he told her to send him the address to where they were supposed to meet. he arrived a few minutes late, as per usual, and when he arrived he wasn’t surprised to see that the booth reserved for the two of them had already been partially filled by his ‘date’. he slid his sunglasses down the bridge of his nose so he could see him better, and immediately recognized him as another idol. “daejung, right?” he asked as soon as he reached the table, slipping his sunglasses off completely and resting them in the collar of his shirt. “i’m yunho. it’s nice to meet you, i guess.” // @daejungfmd

SWIMMING HAD NEVER BEEN AN activity that yunho particularly cared for. when he was a little boy he had tried to learn how to swim or three different occasions, but all three had ended rather poorly and he didn’t want to ever have a repeat of those tragedies ever again. whenever he was faced with an ordeal that required him to be in water, he always made sure that the water never came up past the middle of his chest, and even that was pushing it. he wouldn’t say he was scared of water - definitely not. what he was scared of was drowning. maverick apparently didn’t have the same fear. “i hope you don’t start sinking, because i’m not jumping in there to save your stupid ass,” yunho said from his chair by the pool, nursing a bottle of soju in his hands. // @fmdmaverick

“NO ONE EVER COMES BACK here, trust me. we’re going to be fine, stop worrying so much. have i ever led you astray before?” technically it was one of the few times they had been able to hang out in person with one another, but with how long they had been communicating with each other through messages, yunho thought that shieon would be more willing to trust him. “and i’ve got stuff to spray afterwards, so the smell won’t linger either. i’ve been doing this for years, i’m a pro.” he patted his pockets a few times, before he finally found what he was looking for. he pulled out a pack of cigarettes, flipping open the top, but what he pulled out of the pack wasn’t a cigarette. he twirled the neatly rolled, white paper between his fingers a few times, before putting it between his lips. “how are things going with your schedules? are you guys still touring and shit?” he asked, letting it dangle between his lips as he searched for his lighter. // @fmdshieon

👀 + what physical traits do you look for in a partner?
Send me a “👀 + a question” and my muse has to answer honestly!
AS LONG AS THE OTHER person has nice body proportions and is cute in the face, i really don’t give a fuck what physical traits they have.
