Looking for Drarry RP!
Hello! Iâm a 20+ looking for someone to do Drarry with :] Iâve got lots of RP experience, I donât mind playing either of the boys, and Iâm not a stickler about length. I donât even mind if theyâre slightly ooc. Iâm just looking to have some relaxed, casual fun with some plots Iâve always wanted to do with Drarry. Iâm also down for ns*w, though I donât want that to be the focus of the RP.
Plot idea 1: Draco and Harry somehow become friendly during the beginning of fourth year, maybe around when Ron and Harry are fighting, and thus Draco helps Harry through the Tournament and they become closer.
Plot idea 2: Draco runs away from Malfoy Manor during Deathly Hallows, accidentally stumbling upon Harry in the woods. Harry winds up bringing him back to camp and offers him a chance to change to their side.
Plot idea 3: The classic Sectumsempra scenario. Either Harry walks in on Draco in the bathroom and decides not to attack or Harry feels guilty after attacking and goes to apologize to Draco in the hospital wing.
If youâre interested, send me a message or reply to this post. :D

Marking âNot For Kidsâ Doesnât Protect You - COPPA Update
SPREAD THIS AROUND LIKE WILDFIRE. NO ONE SEEMS TO BE TALKING ABOUT THIS.
I donât usually post about serious stuff, but this is a big deal. Like as big a deal as Article 13.
What Chad says in this video about people not really understanding the nature of this COPPA update is true; I also thought it was just a new YouTube rule, but itâs so much more.
Here are major highlights from the video, in case you want donât want to watch (though I highly recommend you do, itâs worth it to learn more):
The FTC is revising the COPPA laws which are basically the laws that regulate content children may consume. In relation to YouTube, this is not just about content that is marked as suitable for children. ITâS FOR ANYTHING THAT A CHILD MAY ON THEIR OWN DECIDE TO WATCH.
Content creators on YouTube will be able to mark their video as for children or not. HOWEVER, if a video is marked as ânot for childrenâ, but an FTC official (not a YouTube worker, A GOVERNMENT WORKER) decides that it could appeal to children, the creator is liable for that violation and will be fined.
If a video is marked as âfor childrenâ and follows all the rules, itâs fine. HOWEVER, YouTube has instated new limitations on these videos. Subscribers will not get a notification of it posting, comments will be disabled, you wonât be able to search for that video, it will not appear in the suggested/recommended area on YouTubeâs homepage (which is how many content creators grow their viewer base), and there will be no targeted ads, making the video revenue drop by 90%.
That last part is the major issue here. Content creators wonât be able to make money, in an age where being a YouTuber finally is a viable career. THIS IS RUINING CAREERS FOR CONTENT CREATORS THE SAME WAY ARTICLE 13 WAS FOR ARTISTS.
Chad talks about video game channels and toy collectors, and those are definitely highly at risk channels, but based on the vague language of this law, this is also going to wind up affecting any channels that have anything to do with fandoms that children might also be a part of. Harry Potter, Marvel, Pokemon, Disney, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, the list goes on. Those are just some examples of things that I personally watch videos about on YouTube. It makes up the majority of my favorite content creators.
This law is going to affect so much more content than toy or letâs play videos. Itâs going to affect theory videos (Game Theory, SuperCarlinBrothers), videos that talk about animation or fandom history (SaberSpark), cosplayers (The Mischief Managers anyone?), parody-makers, people who make animation (Iâm thinking of Hazbin Hotel right now), people who cover music from cartoons/movies/games. ANYTHINGÂ THAT COULD POSSIBLY HAVE APPEAL TO A CHILD IS AT RISK.
It isnât fair that adults who happen to enjoy a certain piece of media and have made a career using that media as a base will now be punished because children may also enjoy that media. BUT THERE IS SOMETHING WE CAN STILL DO.
The FTC is allowing public comment until December 9th. COMMENT AND LET THEM KNOW THAT THEY NEED TO CHANGE THE LANGUAGE OF THIS LAW. Donât be rude, of course, but make sure youâre clear on why this law is a problem and how badly it will affect so many people who are obviously not trying to target an audience of children. The language of the law is too vague. Adults can enjoy cartoons, toys, and videogames as well, and want to be able to freely express opinions, make tributes, and share with fellow fans in mature, child-free ways. Just because we like something children also like DOESNâT MEAN WE WANT CHILDREN TO WATCH OUR VIDEOS.
