Hello to like the 3 people that will read this!

My name is mari and I am an aspiring costume designer and currently a senior in high school.

For years now I’ve been putting off the task of creating my own “serious” blog. I had one once, when I was a little kid, and had first discovered my admiration for the entertainment industry, as one does when you are 12. In that first attempt at the blogger lifestyle, I babbled on about my love for fashion and from time to time critiqued celebrities at red carpets I thought were poorly dressed.

I hope to regain that courage by opening this page. And finally getting around to growing and learning from doing something like this. 

I haven’t written anything in a while, but my mind is always full of words and ideas that form somewhat cohesive and in-depth analysis of the things I have a love for. ( which are many things, just in case you’re wondering).

I feel like, unless you are a chronically online person, your interaction with different types of media and how you consume them is so different. Being on platforms like this one or, twitter really makes you see the difference between how the general public consumes pop culture vs those of us who live in a bubble of parasocial relationships and hyperfixations. Im excited (and scared) to let that voice speak out on what it loves and how it makes me feel. 

I’ll make my greatest effort in keeping this filtered and not all over the place but I make no promises.
