This is the next VN in the Althar VN set! This one sets up some information about the leaders of the various Althar religions, and a bit of information about Teslic Yard as well. This is in prep for the first major RP event on March 11 in the Floraverse Owel Discord server.

The World Egg VN!

This one is a 30-40ish minute VN, made in Ren'py. One of the songs in this VN (the first one) is by Decateranomy

Credits to The Art Pyramid RPers who participated in the month and a half long RP back in Sept-Nov this past year! This VN could not exist without them. I really appreciate it. I had a lot of fun with the Art Pyramid RP and classes! It got really intense at points. I've tried to capture some of that energy in this update…!

This VN is also a prologue for the Althar RP which opens up TODAY! You can start to make characters for the Althar RP…

The Althar RP will be from today, Feb 14, through Sept 26 this year (2023). It may get intense at points! I had no idea how intense the Art Pyramid RP would get. I really didn't. But we're more prepared this time! The first major Public Event in the RP space will be on March 12. We'll be releasing Althar information in the weeks and months to come. We'll be covering a lot of topics in the RP to do with war, angels, religion, politics, and how to care and connect. Those of us running the RP really put our hearts into it! This story is really meaningful to us.

The main storyrunners this time are: Me (glip), Tem, Scape, Pengo, Kuri, Pajou, Lyn, Iz

Floraverse update!

So, The Art Pyramid event was the last RP event, and ran from Sept 26 to Nov 6-7. It was a lot more intense than I (or anyone) expected it would be! It was an extremely fun event overall, and we learned a lot about how to manage RP. This event is going to be longer! This comic serves as a little intro to what Althar will be like. There will be more updates going forward - such as a 35-40 minute VN to be posted today, and maps and whatnot to be posted later either this month or next month.

The Althar RP event should be running from today (Feb 14) to Sept 26, with the first major event in the story for others to participate in occurring on March 11-12. Over time, each of the major religions in Althar will have their own events for characters to participate in. We'll be getting forms and such ready within the week for participation!

Hi everyone! I'm running an event along with my friends from Sept 26 - Nov 5-6, a weekly set of classes for beginners...! It's an RP event in the Floraverse Eastar server, and the goal is to learn together and have fun expressing together.

There are 5 different kinds of classes available: Art/color theory, Abstract thinking, 3D modeling, Pico-8 Programming, Creative writing. These will be classes for beginners, but you're welcome to join even if you're experienced in order to make things together!

i made a free, open source, web-based chip’s challenge (1+2) emulator a bit ago

features include:

works both on a computer and on a phone…  more or less

comes with ~800 community levels, plus it can load levels in any format (including from the commercial games, either the classic version or the ones on Steam)

built-in level editor where you can make your own levels and share them with just a link

totally original art, sounds, and music, though you can load in the classic tileset if you really want to

undo and rewind

now you are a fox solving puzzles for fun, instead of bill gates being kind of weird about a girl

a couple tiny emulation bugs still, oh well

I was also, at one point, making an rpgmaker 2003 game set in @floraverse (see 1st pic), and while that project has stalled and waned for all sorts of reasons, the idea hasn’t fully gone away. I had a burst of inspiration about a month ago and redid all of the art in higher fidelity, for a higher quality engine (see pics 2 and 3). It’s a very fantastical setting and one I still want to make something in, whenever I’m able!
