I hate the term the “girls and the gays” and how feminist groups are including gay men into female spaces as if they “don’t count” as a “real” man, not seeing how it’s actually super homophobic to think that way and how they are letting MEN infiltrate female safe spaces or just simple spaces meant for women only just because they view gay men as a separate “type” of man who they can be friends with and are “safer” or “one of the girls”

At the end of the day, gay men are MEN. They are not all effeminate and they are not all friendly to women as they assume.

Like beforehand, this same working woman would be expected to take care of the kids in the morning, go to the office, work a full work day, pick up the kids and take care of everything that needed to be taken care of and maybe pay for childcare/daycare.

Now, this same woman is expected to believe her life got easier by being able to work at home, but it’s the same 8 hour work day, but she’s also expected to do childcare in between her actual work day with no break and she’s basically “in the home” doing housewife duties while juggling her full time job

There’s a video going around about a little kid, maybe at most 3-4 putting the family cat into a trashcan and not only does the kid just nonchalantly put the cat into a pretty deep trashcan and closes the lid, but the parent filming and laughing along.

First of all it’s animal abuse

This makes me think about how little empathy people have towards cats in general. People LOVE to irritate their cats and find their distressed reactions funny to post online. We as a society have normalized how cats can be moody and angry online and so many people find it funny and entertaining, but that’s so wrong.

People have such a tolerance for pet abuse towards cats that would NEVER SLIDE towards dogs. I am dead serious when I say it’s bc society codes cats as female and dogs as male. Also the fact that cats are the ultimate consent animals of which bad pet owners love to violate their boundaries and find it funny to do so.

Imagine the universal uproar if someone let their child throw their small dog into a deep trashcan and closed the lid, while the dog was barking and whining and scratching for their life. People would be tagging PETA and that would be the MILD reaction.
