Spoilers: Titans Finale
Clearly, Deathstroke’s not dead, and I’m pretty sure Rose is in on it? She herself has recovered from worse, so surely she knew her father would recover from a stab wound?
This is what I think happened: Deathstroke phoned Rose and told her that Jason went back to the team (a lie, since he never showed up) so she wouldn’t be tempted to go after him. Perhaps he needed her to save Jericho, since they have a better chance of helping him if Rose “takes him” and joins the Titans?
Man, all this heartwarming talk about family between Dick and Bruce, and not a single word about Jason? Especially since Rose probably told them about Jason storming off after she told him the truth. I mean, Jason was in a very rough place: feeling abandoned by Bruce, the team distrusting him, never mind the PTSD from his near death experience. The kid almost committed suicide, and Dick knew it. But no, we have everyone coming together and healing and singing Kumbaya. It just feels like they’re conveniently brushing off the “problem child”, and I don’t like that.
Though, one thing I don’t give this show enough credit for: it’s great that we have all these female characters playing off each other in scenes together. At times the entire team is female, and it didn’t feel forced. Love it.

I shipped them back when there were only a handful of comic panels with Red Hood and Ravager together.
Their past romance was barely mentioned as a footnote, yet I instantly fell in love with the idea of an romantic pairing between a son of Batman and Deathstroke’s daughter. They can commiserate about their fathers. And everything being relative, Rose and Jason are more similar in their “moral spectrum” than with the members of their family. Plus, they are willing to call on each other’s bullshit.
For all its shortcomings, this show finally gave me exactly the dynamic I had imagined and took it to new heights. They’ve got their prickly sarcasm right, as well as their fluffy, tender moments. And who can forget the angst!! The acting’s great and the two actors have amazing on-screen chemistry together.
I never thought I’d be one of “those fans”, but goddamn, do I feel validated somehow lol

Slade/Jay fanart inspired by pt 2 of gavotteandgigue‘s Soulmate AU series, “Twisted Fate”. I all but begged for the sequel, so it's only right that I return the courtesy with NSFW art ;D
The corresponding scene in the fic is actually a lot more consensual than it looks (srsly, handcuffs and all lol), but somehow between reading the fic and drawing the art I lost control of these guys. It happens.
Also for @sladerobinweek prompt: handcuffs

Clone Roy Harper|Will Harper/Jason Todd
Created for the DCU Bang and inspired by "Broken Wings and Notched Arrows" by @bebbie-the-hufflepuff
Since the story takes place in the Young Justice-verse, I wanted to try a different style/technique to create a fanart that mimics the screenshots from the cartoon. The dialogue/caption from Will is also lifted straight from the fic.

DCU Bang: Bru/Jay Fanart
Art inspired by “You’re at a Loss to Start” written by @setsailslash
The story/art takes place during "Countdown" where Jason (along with Donna and Kyle Rayner went on a multiverse hopping adventure) meets a Bruce Wayne who started killing after Jason's death. The scar on Jason's neck was inflicted by Batman's hand at the end of the original "Under the Red Hood" arc of the comic.

Titans ep 5 Impressions
Well, hello, flashback to Jason’s torture scenes in “Batman: Arkham Knight”!
Doesn’t Jason have a second tracker in him, same as Dick? How come Deathstroke didn’t find it? Did Bruce offer Jason the choice of arm or thigh? I have so many questions.
Why is there a cross hair over Deathstroke’s BLIND right eye? (Also makes him look too much like Deadshot, imo)
Chances of Rose backstabbing the team just jumped to 85%, and rightfully so, especially when she finds out what really happened to Jericho.
Deathstroke sharpening his blade in front of Jason is such a boss move, I love it.
Shouldn’t Dick be speed-dialing Batman about Jason’s kidnapping?
The other Titans are already pissed that Dick’s keeping information from them, imagine when Bruce Wayne finds out after Jason’s “death” that he could’ve done something to save him if he only knew. Really hoping this isn’t THE death; I’ve been enjoying Jason as Robin and it’s way too soon for him to exit the Titans, one way or another.

Titans TV—“Speaking of Jason... is it just me or did Batman low key give him the boot? Maybe Jason was always just a middlefinger to Dick for leaving. Once Dick and Bruce made up, Jason outlived his usefulness and Bruce dumped him but is covering it up as "Titans buisness". Would give Jason ample motivation for turning on the Batfamily for simply being a pawn in an argument that didn't even last.”
Randothor on Reddit
Imagine if that’s what Jason thought. It’s no wonder his feelings of inadequacy and abandonment issues got kicked into high gear. Episode 3 was amazing, can’t wait for the next one!

HOW DID I JUST LEARN ABOUT THIS???
It is also unclear how Black Mask will be received by queer fans. "The way he acts" may be interpreted as stereotypical mannerisms.
And he’s going to be flamboyantly gay too. Oh boy.

Black Mask in a white suit: YES, best design!!
Black Mask without…a mask: I suppose there’s no hiding Obi-Wan’s mug.
Black Mask looking like he’s reading to go clubbing in LA: questionable
Cass looks as OOC as she could be, and how could there be a Birds of Prey without Babs?

Justified! Spoilers for Titans S2E1
I’m sorry, but Jason was totally justified in killing Dick in the Trigon dream sequence. Unlike the scenarios the other Titans faced (e.g. Donna could have chosen NOT to kill the arsonist, Starfire chosen NOT to kill Raven, etc.) he had “no choice”. What a false equivalent!
This is what happened: Jason finds Bruce dead in the Batcave and is genuinely distraught. Dick confesses to the murder and claims that he did it because he saw Bruce’s “future”, one where he “breaks “and kills the Joker. Knowing how Jason feels about criminals, he might not even see that as justification for killing Bruce (especially since it hasn’t even happened). Dick then tells him he’s going to “put him down too.”
Even after defending himself from the initial attack, Jason tries to verbally disengage while Dick picks a fight. It’s a very one-sided “fight”. At this point, Dick has had his hand around his throat and has broken his arm. In his mind, Jason fully believes Dick is going to kill him.
Jason crawls toward the gun and can barely stand before shooting Dick in the head. He had little to no chance of escaping and killing Dick was essentially self-defense + avenging Bruce (who, for all he knows, is an innocent victim to a snapped/mind-controlled Dick).
I think even Bruce Wayne would’ve okayed using his parents’ murder weapon for self-defense in a life or death scenario, just saying.

Inspiration: Roman Sionis/Jason Todd (pt2-RHatO Rebirth)
Black Mask is the villain-du-jour in the first major arc of Red Hood and the Outlaws Rebirth. His portrayal here is more elitist/pretentious than in Under the Red Hood (covered in Inspiration pt 1 here), and their power dynamic is reversed so that Roman is the one holding the cards while Jason’s on his toes.
Jason goes undercover working for Roman in order to link the crime lord to a case involving mind-control. Roman lavishes him with praises, but it’s never clear if he meant what he said, since he knew Jason’s identity from the very beginning and had orchestrated the events to recruit and use him.
This panel above happens during one of their numerous dining sessions, and knowing Jason’s secrets, Roman’s just toying with him and loving it. Later on, he even throws Jason’s words back at him, tells him that the bat symbol is actually “a leash he put on himself–a way to keep himself tethered to Batman.”
Another meal time confession (breakfast this time): Roman is trickling the truth and admits to manipulating him, but that Jason has proven himself to be more than just a pawn.
Time and time again, Roman reveals that he understands Jason more than Jason is willing to admit, and he uses that information against him effectively. But even after the truth is revealed (that Black Mask is behind an injectable virus, allowing him to mind-control the victims), Roman still gives Jason a chance to join him, for good.
And of course, there’s this gratuitous panel of Jason waking up after being knocked out during a mission. This, along with multiple snarky BDSM comments from Jason about Black Mask’s appearance, has inspired plenty of kinky–if not entirely consensual–fics. So, if you enjoy themes of undercover/deception, ulterior motives, unequal power dynamics featuring a boss/subordinate relationship (especially with a unrepentant villain like Black Mask), just to name a few…then this is the pair for you.

***SPOILERS for Young Justice season 3
Season Premiere
Brain: You know, Prince Brion looks a lot like Prince Hans from Frozen (it’s those sideburns), wouldn’t it be funny if he ends up betraying the team?
Season Finale
