Koichi animatic finally dropping!! Thanks to the Tumblr folks who reblogged my previous Koichiposting and left comments in the tags, you guys are my lifeblood for niche fandoms fr 😭 People avoiding Tumblr and acting like it's 100% cringe don't realize you get the best secret comments from people who wouldn't directly reply a comment on the same post on other social media (also me)

Koichi has been my favorite since my 2008-ish Tagalog dub rewatch. Honestly, I suppose I can chalk it up to the "little girls actually really like morbid character arcs" stereotype. My preferences in my tweens influenced the favorite tropes I carried through the years, though, so I guess Koichi can also be considered a progenitor blorbo which is a term I invented just now

In other news, my years of mental illne--I mean my dedication to my childhood favorite has paid off and I won a DCG Tamer Battle with Purple Hybrid / Koichi 😌 It's just a small regular card game event, but getting Top 16 in GAO with Megidra before that plus the fact that I just started playing in like May with no TCG experience past Slay the Spire and Inscryption is inflating my ego a bit LMAO

(We usually get the participation and winner packs late in my country so they just give you random old event cards while waiting for the new ones to come in)

Anyway I just mentioned it because after that I thought I need to actually finish this animatic, it's the least I could do for my boy to commemorate 🎉 Pretty much just missing the effects and some tweaks at this point!
