This man is innocent, his appearance and build doesn’t match that of the killers, the only “motive” he had was a convenient written confession showing that he supposedly viewed healthcare companies as “parasitic” and too expensive (which does somewhat contradict the actual killers actions) he had said note and the murder weapon conveniently on him while living his ordinary life, the killer held the gun in his right hand while Luigi is left-handed, Luigi and the Killer were potentially seen simultaneously, they wore slightly different coats.

The NYPD KNOW these are different people, they know the evidence is lacking, this isn’t a mistaken identity, it’s framing, they are trying to make themself appear to still be control by catching this man, humiliating him, killing him, when they know full well that the person they are prosecuting ISNT EVEN THE RIGHT GUY! This is an injustice! This is not a fair trial! This is downright tyranny!

Would you guys kill me if I said I think Ryuji has self esteem issues. Would you take me out back and shoot me like a lame horse.

Everyone's always picking on him. He outright admits he knows he's not smart. Self esteem issues are very very common in abuse survivors. The whole school hates him and treats him like a pest. He doesn't ever mention such a thing but that doesn't mean they're not there just masked, there but unacknowledged, or he's not just unwilling to be open abt them. Apologizes for shit that's not his fault (ex. He apologizes if you heal him in battle) showing general willingness to blame himself for things when he shouldn't. Willing to let himself get hurt to appease the track team (doesn't value himself or his safety) He gets so caught up in the fame and positive attention bc self esteem issue havers crave external validation. Are you with me here or am I in too deep

To be clear I am referring mostly to self esteem issues along the lines of 'he's a pest that others don't like, he's stupid and only good at hitting shit, other people matter more than him'

B2i makoto should meet naoto and chie and the SO. I know she’s probably gonna not get caught by the IT (especially if her cop aspirations make Ren be distant) but she should get the resultant life lesson about police anyways

Chie did end up going to a police academy, and she got to do a lot of small-town police stuff, which is what she genuinely enjoyed. Idealistic stuff, like catching pickpockets and petty thieves, lots of paperwork, finding lost dogs and dealing traffic tickets.

But once Shido came into the picture and revealed the cowardice and corruption of the force, Chie struggled with that enough that she quit. Was she able to make a difference? Yes. In this one case, she did. But it cost her her reputation in the force and the respect of her peers, ensuring that she'd never be able to climb the ranks ever. (not that she quit on that basis, she quit because she couldn't look at her coworkers the same way) It could have cost her job if Ren had failed his probation had she not quit beforehand.

I wonder how Makoto would feel, meeting the result of her ideal scenario?

Also, for what it's worth, Naoto is an independent agent that only occasionally works with the police force. He's pretty aware of how they are, especially as he earns more experience. He definitely is able to speak truthfully on the matter.

For example, I do: I have a phobia of ancient extinct fish. Yes, the ones that lived millions and millions years ago. When I was five, I was given a children's encyclopedia that had an image of such creature. It made a forever harm to me.
