the narrator’s a cricket or cicada, they’re LOUD. leaning towards crickets because they stay hidden from the viewer, while many cicada species are found in the thousands to millions

the curator’s a butterfly, her museum is simple but showy, her speech is short but stays in the minds of players, and she just gives those vibes

mariella’s a praying mantis. i uh. i don’t know mantises kick ass.

tk’s a moth, they stay in the cover of the darkness, and they’re is very common

lore dump about my AU + what happened between The Narrator and The Illustrator under the cut

The Narrator, The Illustrator, and The Curator were in charge of creating and monitoring the Parable. The Narrator’s job was to write the scripts for and narrate the story. The Illustrator’s job was to design what the Parable would look like. The Curators job was to curate and organize what The Narrator and The Illustrator did.

The Narrator and The Illustrator worked very closely during the creation of the story of The Stanley Parable. The Illustrator would make what The Narrator wrote about for the story into reality, and The Narrator would write about what The Illustrator designed for the story. They, in a way, were one another’s muse. They knew what they did, the other would turn into something real for the Parable. They took inspiration from one another for the story they worked so hard to turn into a reality.

They grew close, sharing a mutual admiration towards the other. The Narrator and The Illustrator were in love, of course The Curator knew this, it was rather hard to miss. But they had to focus on the story, if The Developers learned they were distracted from their assignment, they could have their titles taken away, leaving them with nothing. This made The Narrator paranoid.

When The Illustrator confessed how he felt towards The Narrator, he was scared. He was now forced to choose between the beautifully unpredictable human emotion that love is, and the story. The Narrator believed he would be nothing without The Stanley Parable. He cared about The Illustrator, and because of that he did what he believed would keep both of them safe.

The Narrator couldn’t be distracted, the story took priority. The Narrator and The Illustrator argued. The Illustrator wanted them to be something more. The Narrator knew it would interfere with the story. So The Narrator deleted The Illustrator. Sending him into the space between the Parable and reality (where The Timekeeper is.)

When The Curator learned this, she was angry with The Narrator. She didn’t want to be apart of the story anymore. She left to be in the museum ending.

This left The Narrator with complete power over the Parable. The Narrator was now alone with his work in progress story and misbehaving protagonist.

i want to talk about the SAD-ist and Jay situation but i suck at words so i’ll make it short

i’m so fucking pissed

so many big creators are horrible people and i was so happy that two of the bigger, if not biggest, creators in this fandom aren’t like the others

i know everyone is sick of hearing this, including me, but how hard is it to just not groom minors!

coming from someone who was exposed to sexual material at like 12 years old, i get how quickly it gets normalized to you. i fucking bragged about it!

i feel so much sympathy for zenn and the other members in the channels.
