Hey, hey! I'm new to the fandom and a little scared to share my homemade DK roadie so I was wondering if maybe you had some hints on how to make the best OC possible and maybe also some good MTL OC creators to follow? :)

Most of my mtl ocs were imported from other fandoms, but a lot were also made as extensions of canon characters (like family members or anything to fill gaps in their backstories.) In my experience, having a "hook" in canon helps people get to know your ocs more.

It also helps to just post about your ocs as much as possible lol. In the beginning it will feel like you are your characters' only fan, but people will only be interested in what you're making if they have a way to see it.

For mtl specific, eh just have fun with it. The canon is so wacky that you can go in a lot of different directions, from more realistic and down to earth to supernatural. It's been one of my favorite fandoms to create ocs for because of this. Looking into different subgenres of metal for inspo can be fun tho. I'm excited to see your roadie!
