"Mother!" Selim skips over and hugs her legs. "When is father returning? I enjoy hearing his stories of the small alchemist. I can't wait! His stories are always wonderful!" He looks up with an innocent smile spreading across his adorable childish face.
"Oh! Selim, you startled me." She smiled warmly, running a hand through her son's soft hair. "I'm not exactly sure, sweetheart. You know that he can be quite busy with work... but I'm sure he'd love to regale you with tales of Mr. Elric when he returns." Oh how that little cherub face always brightened her day. She was so grateful to have such a wonderful family... even if they weren't exactly normal.

((I don’t really know actually! It seems like he was turned into a regular kid, from what I can see, but one of the omakes was a comic of Grumman wondering about the button too, pressing it, and causing Pride to return and tell him off.

So, maybe Pride’s human until you poke him?
