I recorded myself making a gif in Photoshop to show to reposters on Twitter just how much time and effort the whole process takes and I thought I’d post the video here too. I sped up a 33 minute screen recording into ~2 mins.

Twitter is where gif stealing/reposting really runs rampant with 99% of fandom gifs stolen from us here, so that’s why I made the video, but this bad habit is creeping back on Tumblr too. We’re absolutely taken for granted tbh. Especially when we do this for free. People in twitter fandoms constantly repost our gifs on their own, not as reaction gifs, but for clout / followers / likes / retweets. Not enough people realize how lengthy and creative the process is.

A few days ago I finished FFVII remake and intermission and oh boy, WHAT A RIDE. Every time I play a Final Fantasy, I fall in love more with this series. It’s everything I looked for in video games when I was a kid, but I didn’t have the means to play those games… until now and how I LOVE THEM

#my plan is to play every single final fantasy #but we’re doing this little by little #so far I’ve played the FFXIII trilogy #FFXV #&#FFVII remake #tho I’m watching a gameplay for the original FFVII so I can understand what’s happening rn #that said I’ll be making more gifs (hopefully!!!)#for the FFXIII trilogy (expect more of Lightning) and FFVII (more of Aerith and Tifa of course)#it’s really fun making gifs but it’s also so tiring and slow #since I’m new to this #Final Fantasy #and more of Aloy as well #couldn’t forget about her
