Oh here we are, strap in ladies and gents, I got a few bangers for you.

(Gonna shorten this just so it doesn’t overload anyone’s screen)

I’m gonna start off plain and simple with a few more commonly seen (gentler, if you will) hot takes and move onto what I think are my most piping hot takes ever. Starting with:

1) Grapeduo is not all that

I think this one is a no-brainer, they are just so prominent in the community that it’s damn near impossible to avoid. I see the appeal, don’t you get me wrong, but I just cannot see THAT much of an appeal between the two.

Speaking of duos:

2) Names for duos/pairs are not that big a deal

I vividly remember on Discord there was this scuffle between some fans over what to call Yellow and Blue as a duo. There were things like “soda duo” or “beach duo” and the list goes on. And I get we wanna make it cute and all but why does the pair name matter THAT much? Like ladies and gents, calm yourselves 💔

3) Corn Dog Guy isn’t funny to me

That’s just it, I don’t find him that amusing. Nothing wrong with him being a joke character, but I just can’t enjoy him that much.

4) The Hollowheads are brothers. The CG are not

If you’ve been on my blog for a while already you’ll know I hold the whole “hollowhead brothers” concept very near and dear to my heart, and I don’t intend to part with that idea anytime soon.

As for the CG, I can see why some people would think they’re related, but I personally choose not to see it that way. I’m just so used to envisioning them all as friends. That’s all.

Now let’s move onto some more interesting takes.

5) Gold should come back, but it shouldn’t be a happy ending

Save your screams till the end, stay with me on this. I just think we need an AvM plot that ends on a bittersweet note (and I’m talking more bittersweet than the ending of S3), I mean deathly bitter lemons paired with the sweetest peaches.

Just hear me on this one. Gold was separated from Mango, right? He got stuck in the Minecraft demo server and the connection was terminated. I’d argue we don’t know enough about the physics and rules of the stick/tech realm to actually determine if he’s dead or if he’s just in some unseen part of the game.

So what if there comes a time in the plot where the CG’s hijinks wind them up in the very code of Minecraft itself, and they discover Gold. With a little whatchamacallit magic and brains, they manage to haul ass and free him after like years.

With that said and done, Gold wants to see his dad again, and the CG being the absolute dumbasses they are feel it’s their responsibility to shield him from the realization that Mango has moved on and has Purple now. But we need a plot so Gold finds out anyway.

But instead of losing his cool like the CG feared he would he just… accepts it. He decides his parent is better off continuing to believe he’s dead, says goodbyes from afar, thanks the CG for the jack shit the work they didn’t actually do, and off goes Gold to live life.

I feel like THAT would be a more acceptable storyline to do with Gold than anything.

6) The CG shouldn’t be isolated anymore

I think the Colored Gang are the epitome of what sheltered children look like, and this is coming from someone who was a very sheltered girl as a child. But it just gets to a point where even THEY are too sheltered.

Yes, maybe they can all handle themselves just fine, and yes they have all the knowledge they could need at their fingertips, it’s just a google search away, but that doesn’t change the fact that they NEED to get out more.

I think it’d maybe be beneficial for them AND interesting to the plot if Alan let his boys roam around the internet freely if they chose. Why he hasn’t done so yet could be among varying reasons, the main one being they simply can’t access it the way Victim, Mitsi, Chosen, and Dark did. Or it could be because of ulterior motives to keep the stick figures safe and protected. An honorable cause, but even stick figures need their time out.

Unless of course, there IS some other more sinister ulterior motive for keeping them confined the way he does. It’s very Orwellian; the best way to keep a prisoner from escaping is to ensure he never realizes he’s in a prison. An interesting shift in the plot, I think, and could further add onto the lore of Animator vs Animation, where the animator fights to keep them safe and the animations fight for their freedom.

7) The CG need to stop forgiving everybody

I know their good hearted nature and kindness is part of what makes them all so lovable but man… just stop. Beat up someone’s ass already, you boys are fully warranted. Screw the sob stories, that doesn’t automatically make anyone better than you or more deserving of kindness. The backstories’ jobs are to explain, but they do not justify. Mango and Purple still screwed them over, they still endangered their lives on multiple occasions, like—when are we gonna put the foot down?

Okay, now for the crazy wild shit.

Starting with!

8) The Dark Lord and The Chosen One are cowards

Ego. That’s all I can really describe these two as. And you could be wondering “how and why”. I’ll tell you.

Does nobody notice how the only reason Dark and Chosen went on their genocide-fest was because they thought at first nobody could stop them? And then as time progressed and they spread their wings, the belief that they were somehow invincible grew larger in their minds. And yes, maybe they’re right. They ARE crazy strong, they took out entire websites for Christ’s sake.

So why do I say they’re cowards? Because as soon as Chosen ran into the Mercenaries from Rocket Corp., as SOON as he met someone who could for once didn’t cower in fear and run, someone who could genuinely stand up against him and seriously fuck him up, he ran.

He ran to his own LITTLE BROTHER for crying out loud. He deliberately kidnapped him, dragged him directly into danger DESPITE seeing he could not harness his powers like he did at the Showdown—all that just so he could be protected?

And don’t try and sway me with the whole “he wasn’t doing it on purpose, he was just scared”- he has the powers of fucking Superman and he’s scared of a handful of Mercenaries with low-res bullets to the point he has to call on his YOUNGER counterpart to help him? I understand he had a change of heart, but he’s acting completely helpless here. Just aim and shoot, brother.

Likely because he’s never NEEDED self defense, not from anybody other than Alan, whom the two of them were convinced they were free from for good.

And then there’s Dark!! Wooh boy. Running as soon as he got sucker-punched by Awakened TSC? Not exactly in character for his typical aggro and “slash just for the sake of it” personality.

“He was going back to base to recuperate-“ WHAT BASE?? One is too obvious of a location for Chosen to locate him in considering he was spared, and the other is completely totaled and in plain sight! Second would’ve seen him fly towards it! There is literally nowhere he could’ve gone to recalculate everything, he was running away.

The MINUTE those two met an opponent stronger than them, one of the first few instincts they had was to turn tail and get the hell out of dodge. Call it survivalist strategy or whatever the sort, to me that’s just cowardice, it’s bully behavior at its finest.

And the track record these two have built up before it just shows they’re not used to fighting with beings on par with their strength. So yes, they are delusional, egoistic bully-like cowards.

9) Dark is still alive, just legally dead

Yeah I know that sounds like the same load of shit, but listen listen. I’m just gonna say it. We have zero confirmation that Dark is actually dead. There was no closeup shot of his body, no arrangement of death or anything, just an explosion from faraway. If that’s not an indicator of the possibility of him being alive, I don’t know what is.

Now legally speaking, there’s a certain amount of time someone can be missing for before they’re declared dead…. I don’t think I need to explain where I’m going with this. He could very well be out there, just in hiding, waiting for another opportunity to strike.

10) Second’s powers suck

Here’s something else—we STILL don’t know what is it about Second’s powers that make him so special. Like, fucking whoopee, dawg, he laser-eyed Dark straight into the ground, how revolutionary.

HOW IS HIS DEFAULT TALENT MORE INTERESTING THAN HIS AWAKENED FORM? Like, I get it, he’s significantly stronger than Dark, and therefore stronger than Chosen… is that it?? Is that ALL that makes him special?

Listen, I KNOW his power particles, the glowing green things are connected to whatever substance it is that gives uploaded animations life, we saw it with Mitsi and a whole bunch of other uploaded stick figures, I KNOW there has to be a connection there somewhere. And I’m sure it’s gonna be wicked once we find out!

But for now? His powers are so basic it hurts.

And last but not least,

11) Victim needs to die

And I don’t mean this in a “oh, I hate his character so much he deserves to die” way—I mean, he genuinely needs to die in order for this plot to go remotely anywhere interesting.

I’ve seen so many people complain about how Victim shouldn’t get a redemption arc considering he’s being an absolute ass right now. And I agree with all that. But maybe, just killing him off plain and simple is the smarter solution.

And this isn’t just some lazy suggestion either. I think would be a genuinely poetic way for his story to come to an end. Victim, after enduring the torment that he did from Alan, and losing Mitsi for all these years—his only peace at the end of the tunnel is certain death.

Whatever the after effects of his death are, those can be molded into a new AvA season, but that’s not the point.

Look somebody’s just gotta get ganked this season, and I’m talking outside of Mitsi. Like actually, someone major needs to die, so we can have some decent plot. Does that not sound like a good idea?

And then our second fic is *trumpet blare* Earth and Luna centered! We love our cosmic siblings. The only thing we love more? Seeing our cosmic siblings be emotionally broken inside!! Earth's poppin comets and Luna's keeping strong, it's a shitshow laced with tears and brotherly love.

BEAST-YEAST EPISODE 11 AND 12 PREDICTIONS

What a way to end off episodes 9 and 10, honestly! Passion wins again! Now all that's left are THESE gangly clowns.

And I know what we're all wondering: how's THIS gonna pan out? White Lily Cookie's left in the Faerie Kingdom doing her little book stuff, and Silent Salt... is very likely going to be a silent villain. An interesting concept, and I really hope that is MAJORITY the case, considering there's word of him actually having a VA thus meaning he has voice lines. But a MOSTLY silent villain? I'll take it 💵💵

So how COULD this pan out? A guilt-ridden half of a soul, looking to fix her mistakes, and an enigmatic silent villain who's out to get her (as far as we know). Well here's my idea.

It is honestly NOT a bad day. For a wedding.

You heard me correctly. A wedding. Or at the very least, some deeply sacred matrimonial-like vows that Silent Salt is looking to bestow upon himself and White Lily Cookie. Stay with me now.

Throughout the plot of Beast-Yeast, it grew SUPER clear to me that each Beast Cookie was getting progressively more and more obsessed with their other half.

Mystic Flour Cookie, the first Beast to release, could very hardly give a damn about Dark Cacao. And I think that's fitting. Goes along with her whole apathy trait.

Burning Spice pursued Golden Cheese Cookie, yes, but in the way a predator hunts down his prey. Still shows a desire to get his hands on her, and he puts significantly more effort in it than MFC, but it's not enough to be considered super personal.

Things started to get weird when we got to Shadow Milk Cookie tho... like, the way he spoke about this guy, talking about "mine" and basically dolling him up to be his little torture puppet and all that and it's like... alright bru😭

Aaaaaand I don't think Eternal Sugar Cookie needs much explaining

...yeah.

So with this pattern getting significantly more intense with each Beast, it's not so unreasonable to think Silent Salt wouldn't be a little messed up over White Lily.

The only question is how is that going to look?

And I think it'll look as I said earlier: a wedding-like ritual.

We know Silent Salt is volatile, and is threatening. But let's pretend, for the sake of making him an interesting character, that he is willing to adopt a more relaxed and gentle persona for his other half.

Maybe he doesn't want a hostile takeover involved in reclaiming his other half. Maybe, in a more introverted-like manner, he just wants it done quickly and quietly, but to still have meaning behind it. Because, if he took White Lily and her Soul Jam in a matter of seconds, we'd have no interesting plot. SO! It has to be meaningful and aesthetically interesting.

And what other way do we know of two people coming together in a deep, meaningful manner and having a versatile aesthetic in the process?

A wedding.

And how is that going to play into WLC's Light of Freedom and SSC's Light of Silence?

...A forced marriage.

For those that don't know, a forced marriage is when one or both parties do not or CANNOT consent to being married. I know it's a very popular trope in dark romance books, but these kind of marriages are real, and they are NOT very nice experiences, often having to do with a history of violence against women and are considered a human rights violation. Befitting in this instance, but I'd rather it be used to further add onto the turmoil White Lily Cookie would have to endure, if this theory winds up being true.

Now here's how it could play out.

White Lily Cookie and maybe the Faeries (being Mercurial Knight Cookie and Silverbell Cookie), walking into the Salt Flatland (as shown below)--

--are now within Silent Salt Cookie's reach. After a well-fought struggle, WLC alongside the Faeries are captured by the Salt Soldiers (as I'll call them), and are taken to Silent Salt Cookie himself.

Upon having his other half in front of him, SSC would then propose to her, perhaps with a ring made of rock salt, and despite WLC's loud and obvious denials... he silences her. Via a rag over her mouth, some dark magic that takes away her voice, forging her signature on a marital document, WHATEVER the case, he is NOT going to allow WLC any say in his plans.

He is the last Beast to be released, and that very likely means he is the most insane of them all. He is going to be OBSESSED with White Lily Cookie, he NEEDS his other half desperately, and he WILL marry her. No matter what she thinks of it.

THAT is how Silent Salt is going to implement his Light of Silence over WLC. He will become one with her, he will take away her Light of Freedom, and he will allow her absolutely NO choice in the matter, taking away her freedom and forcing her into silence.

Then follows the whole process of WLC overcoming this suffocating feeling of being silenced, where she Awakens and gets a new label. Maybe something like "Revolutionaire" which is French for "revolutionary", which would essentially be WLC after breaking free of SSC's torment. The French word would also fit considering her Soul Jam is shaped like a fleur-de-lis, giving her more ties to her already-existing French-European inspirations.

So yes. Forced marriage, ushering WLC into silence. Episode 11 would likely be when she gets captured and bears witness to the preparations for the wedding/ceremony takes place around her, and Episode 12 could be the actual ceremony, to which she pulls a runaway bride move, thus letting her voice be heard, and she Awakens in the process.

I think this could make for a decently good plot for Silent Salt :)
