Japanese photographer Yume Cyan shots awesome long exposure nighttime photographs of fireflies in a forested area near Nagoya City, Japan. 

“By keeping the camera’s shutter open at a low aperture Cyan captures every bioluminescent flash of each insect resulting in dotted light trails that criss-cross the frame.”

The results are nothing short of magical.

       He nodded once, eyes lightly closed as he put the tender touches of the Vala to memory. Finrod was quiet for the most part, only the tiny sounds of his breaths and the occasional sharp breath when fingers and lips found sensitive places for pleasure or pain. One hand twisted the sheets up in its grasp as the Vala spoke the second time. He spoke quietly then, voice steady and soft.

“Of course, I will never be taken from you,”

       Finrod was quiet, letting Melkor do as he pleased in pulling away his robes. The elf stayed where he was, hands settled in his lap now that he knew the Vala did not want his own clothes removed. As he was stared at Finrod felt his cheeks warm and he dipped his head, unsure of what to expect next from Melkor.

“You are mine,” Melkor whispered. His hands traced every curve of Finrod’s body and his lips explored every crevice. Melkor touched the Elf with gentleness, and when he looked at him there was only a little malice in his eyes. Love had no place in Melkor’s heart. Instead there was lust, and desire, and a need to shield what was his from everything else. His possessiveness was his love, though he did not understand it.
