My agent asked me if I wanted to go out for Allison or Lydia, and I said, “You’re crazy, Lydia’s a model, I’ll go out for Allison,” and because they wanted Crystal for Allison, I made a very definitive plan about how I’d play Lydia after they asked me to read for her, and it was either going to fly or fail.
