100 Facts about OnKm (Ono Daisuke & Kamiya Hiroshi)

1. Ono and Kamiya host a radio show called “Deargirls~ Stories~” (DGS) together and 2017 will be the 10th anniversary of the show.

2. During the FCM rehearsal period, Kamiya drove Ono to the site everyday.

3. According to the director of “Kotonoha No Hana”, Kamiya loves doodling on Ono’s script.

4. Kamiya invited Ono to be his guest in SYY 1 (2007, midnight network TV show), Ono rejected because he was afraid of appearing in live show.

5. Though Ono didn’t appeared in SYY 1, he watched the whole show and wrote Kamiya a letter in the name of “Raimuraito sensei”.

6. Kamiya immediately recognised “Raimuraito sensei” is Ono.

7. Ono appeared as Kamiya’s first guest in SYY 2.

8. There was a corner in SYY 2 named “midnight secret”. Kamiya said “Ono-kun hid something behind the TV at home…” Ono was startled and stopped Kamiya from speaking it out.

9. In the end of guest time (2 a.m.) of SYY 2, Kamiya was unwilling to let Ono go. Then, Ono waited outside of the recording room and went home with Kamiya at 4 a.m.

10. In the first event of “Working!!” (2011), Ono wore a white T shirt and his nipples could be seen clearly when he took off his jacket. Yoshita said to Ono “Kamiya-san is calmly looking at you”. Then Ono immediately took a step forward to see Kamiya’s reaction.

11. Suwabe Junichi revealed that Ono and Kamiya held their hands during the recording section of anime “Monochrome Factor”.

12. Ono asked Ueda Kana (a voice actress) “Who is the person you want me to cooperate with in BL drama?” Ueda answered “Kamiya Hiroshi-san”. Ono then said “He will reject you if you directly say you want to be his partner in a BL drama”.

13. Kamiya and Ono had to host “Dear Boy Matsuri” so both of them were absent in the event of “Brothers’ conflict”. Suzumura (a voice actor in Brothers’ Conflict) grumbled “these two always stay together no matter what they do.”

14. Kamiya said he and Ono are not familiar to each other in a magazine interview, but nobody believes it.

15. During a public recording section of DGS, Ono hugged Kamiya from the back and the fangirls screamed in excitement. After both of them got into backstage, Chanko came out and asked everyone not to share this on Twitter. (I heard this from my friend so I don’t know if this is true or not)

18. Ono was unable to attend Kamiya’s first solo live concert. But right after Ono was freed from Mausu Production, he attended KiraFes to support Kamiya (also sat in relation seat) even he had his own album releasing event on the next day.

19. In the event of “Working!! X SS”, Ono took off his jacket and made a funny pose. Then he revealed, “I didn’t want to do this, but Kamiya-san just asked me to make everyone laugh”

20. Ono has the same birthday as Izaya and Kamiya has the same birthday as Shizuo.

22. In Valentine episode of DGS, Kamiya wrote “I want to have sex with a voice actress” on his wish slip. Ono angrily tore the slip and said “Impossible!”

23. In the event of “Noragami”, Kaji wrote “I will call Yato (a character voiced by Kamiya) if Ono-san keep beating me”.

24. In a magazine interview of “Durarara!!”, Ono said the meaning of Shizuo’s life is probably chasing after Izaya.

25. (DGS ep. 391) After 8 years working together, Ono and Kamiya listened to the first episode of DGS, Ono paused the sound and asked Kamiya “Do you remember where did I first meet you?” Kamiya: (recording room of) Rockman, wasn’t it? Ono: Correct.

26. In the event of “Working!!”, they bowed to the audience at the same time. (while the other voice actors stood straight)

27. Ono was once naked in DGS recording room and Kamiya said “I cannot understand this guy’s thoughts”.

28. There is literally a hot tag in Twitter called #神谷浩史はいつ小野大輔と結婚すんの, it means #when will Kamiya Hiroshi marry Ono Daisuke

29. (DGS ep. 165) Ono suggested Kamiya setting his photo as cell phone wallpaper. And Kamiya rejected. Kamiya: if a voice actress sees your face in my cell phone, she will never speak to me again. She will never speak to you either, is that OK for you? Ono: that’s a bit… not good… but it’s OK for me. Kamiya then burst into laughter.

30. In the event of “Durarara!!”, Miyama Mamoru commented, “you two are getting along too well!!”

32. In the Freetalk section of BL Drama CD “Reload”, Kusunoki Taiten (another voice actor participated in the drama) said a staff covered his face when Kamiya and Ono were voicing for the sexy scenes, because both of them looked very strange in the recording room.

33. Also in the Freetalk of “Reload”. Kamiya: Ono-kun Ono-kun, by the way, what is the colour of your underwear today? Ono: Today… is black. Kusunoki: Mine is green. Ono: He didn’t ask you!! He didn’t ask you!!

34. In a network TV show called “Oshaberi Yatte Masu”, Kamiya was drunk and admitted that he can’t do anything without Ono.

35. In FCM, they revealed that Ono’s mother considers Kamiya as a family member.

36. (DGS ep. 162) Ono said Kamiya’s parents are very nice that they gave him wine and cake. (Me: OMFG they literally visited each other’s family!!!!)

37. In the 7th episode of radio show of “Monochrome Factor” (Ono and Suwabe as hosts, 2008), Koshimizu Ami (voice actress participated in anime “Monochrome Factor” and was invited to the show as a guest), Suwabe and Ono talked about smells from people. Ono: Somethings Kamiya-san gives out a very nice odour. Koshimizu: Exactly, yes yes yes!! Ono: I wonder what smell is it. Koshimizu: It’s a very fresh odour… Smell like shampoo. Suwabe: Maybe he just showered himself? Ono: I see… Shower… That smell quickens my heart beats. Koshimizu: Date him! Ono: Really? ……well, if I say something like this, even I was just kidding, Kamiya-san will get extremely angry. He will hit me on my arm. (Me: how did you even know this !!??)

38. Kamiya and Ono summarised their workload distribution in DGS - Kamiya usually has to speak 70% of the content and Ono just need to speak 30%.

39. In the 8th episode of radio show of “Monochrome Factor” (2008), Kamiya attended as a guest. Suwabe was unsatisfied in Ono’s time management and how Ono forgot to bring stopwatch in that episode. Suwabe: How long have you been hosting a radio show?! (DGS) Ono: Usually, Kamiya-san is the one who takes care of these kind of stuffs. (Me: Come on!! Kamiya was your guest this time and he got no right to control the timing!!)

40. Ono is reliable in some other shows (eg. DABA) but he often messes up things in DGS. Kamiya asked why and Ono said DGS is a place he cheers for freedom.

41. Onosaka Masaya (the host of the show) asked Kamiya “what do you think about Ono” in “Oshaberi Yatte Masu” Kamiya: That guy didn’t make any improvement in the past 5 years. Onosaka: So is there any improvement you wish him to make? Kamiya: No. He is good to stay right in this way.

42. Important info: Kamiya was a tsundere (pride+cute) when he was facing Ono.

43. Sometimes, Kamiya likes pretending as a stranger to Ono in magazine interviews and new anime events. But after a few minutes, he will forget to do so and start fooling around with Ono. (This is my personal observation)

44. (DGS ep. 38) Kamiya wrote Ono a tsundere message, and Ono told Kamiya “you don’t have to be dere(cute), tsun(pride) is good enough for me”

45. In the backstage video of “Working!!” Event, Kamiya naturally and unconsciously inclined his body to Ono’s side. They were so close that Kamiya almost rested on Ono’s shoulder.

46. (DGS ep. 224) Kamiya loves summer but was unable to enjoy it because he got too much work. Ono then suggested “let’s go to beach together” to cheer Kamiya up. Kamiya was excited and said he can drive them to the beach.

47. Still in DGS 224. Ono said they could set off once he got holiday, Kamiya moaned “but you are so busy too…”

48. After the event of “Kuroko No Baskue”, Kenshou (Voice actor of Kuroko) accidentally typed “We have Suwabe-san and Kamiya-san as our special guests” as “We have Suwabe-san’s Kamiya-san as our special guests” on Twitter. Then, Suwabe responded with 2 tweets: 1. “I don’t know since when does Kamiya belong to me… Well then, he is mine.” 2. “Just kidding just kidding, Kamiya belongs to everyone (fans), and he is not owned by the guy in Ryogoku” (Notes: Ono performed in a live concert “Orepara” in Ryogoku that day. )

49. Ono voiced for the protagonist of “Psychic Detective Yakumo”. Kamiya was totally unrelated because he didn’t voice a single character in this anime. Yet, he was invited to record a video and that video was played in the anime’s event.

50. In that PDY event, Ono was surprised “Why does this person appear?!” And the MC said “Aren’t you two in that kind of relationship?”

51. In the backstage section of “Oshaberi Yatte Masu”, Kamiya and Ono shared the same pair of earphones for music and both of them naturally ignored Onosaka when he came in.

52. In early DGS episodes, Kamiya jokingly called Ono as a grossly handsome man. (Originally meant Ono was very handsome but he voiced for a lot of gross characters) Months later Ono said “Thanks to you now everyone say I’m gross”. Since then, Kamiya made an open statement “Don’t say Ono-kun is gross, he will be depressed. The word gross can only be used in DGS”.

53. In “Working!! X SS” event, two of them chatted happily at the back and once failed to receive the MC’s instructions.

54. In Ono’s birthday episode of DGS, he was too excited and woke Kamiya up at 6 a.m. for recording.

55. Kamiya was the one who tied Ono’s tie in “Vitamin X to Z” event because Ono didn’t know how to make a knot.

56. Kamiya and Ono were rumoured married due to wearing the same pair of ring. The truth is Kamiya liked Ono’s ring a lot and bought a similar one.

57. (DGS ep. 332) Kamiya said he was afraid of the ringtone in his pocketmon alarm. He could wake up an hour before it rang. Ono: Then please let me stay in your place for a night. Kamiya: For what? Ono: For waking you up with my voice. Kamiya: Something like “hey dude wake up!!” ? Ono: No, with that… “pi~ pipi~ pipi~ pi—-” Kamiya: That’s annoying!! That’s annoying!! And you are the one who can’t wake up in the morning aren’t you?!

58. (DGS ep. 54) Ono asked Kamiya, “if you were a girl, who would you date with?” Kamiya shifted the topic and didn’t answer him.

59. In the event of “The Betrayals Know My Name”, Kamiya commented on Ono’s behaviour - “That guy is hopeless.” And Ono made a smile “Don’t give up on me.”

60. When it came to the topic about similarities between Ono and his character, Sakurai Takahiro stared at Kamiya and asked “Ono… That guy is quite used to following his own instinct… right?” (“The Betrayals Know My Name” DVD vol. 7; special recordings)

61. In SYY2, Ono said he had already told most of his secrets to Kamiya.

62. According to Kamiya, Ono has abdomen sweats and excess sexual desire. (The latter one comes from DGS ep. 199, Kamiya was forced to give a lecture to students in Dowango Creative School and he didn’t know the whole process would be broadcasted)

63. In a magazine interview, Ono literally said “My body cannot live without Kamiya Hiroshi”. (Original line: 神谷浩史がいないと生きていけないカラだになりました)

64. Ono is taller than Kamiya, and the characters voiced by him are usually taller than those who voiced by Kamiya as well.

65. Ono left his phone in the taxi. Then, Kamiya gave him a bright pink iPhone case as birthday present so that Ono won’t lost his phone again.

66. Kamiya was unable to attend the forth event of “Working!!” (2015), Asumi said “Ono-san looks a bit lonely because Kamiya-san is not here.”

67. In the same event, when Yoshida was reading Kamiya’s written message, Ono made a “give my heart to humanity” (Attack on Titan) pose. (Me: Bwahahahahaha~ Erwin is giving his heart to Levi in the name of Sato XDDD)

68. 2008 Seiyu Awards, Ono and Kamiya won “Best Supporting Actors” awards together. Ono was too nervous and kept asking who was Kamiya’s winning character. (It was Tieria Erde)

69. 2009 Seiyu Awards, Kamiya won in “Best Leading Actors”. The next year, Ono won this award as well. Both of them have been called as “now-peak” voice actors, and regarded as each other’s strongest partner in the industry.

70. 2015 Seiyu Awards, Ono and Kamiya won the “Best (Radio) Personalities” award together. This was the second time they won the same award in the same year.

71. In the interview of ANISPA, Ono explained that he can do well in other shows because DGS made him feel that he is not alone.

72. The background music of “Kotonoha No Hana” (a BL drama voiced by Kamiya and Ono) was played during FCM. Both of them made calm expressions as if nothing happened.

73. The staffs of DGS has done a street interview about Kamiya and Ono. Interviewer: In your opinion, what is the weak point of Kamiya-san? Interviewee: Em… The fact that he is lovey dovey with Ono-san in the radio show.

74. In the special freetalk CD of “Kotonoha No Hana”, Ono sounded sad when Kamiya said “I don’t want to read your mind.” So Kamiya immediately added “I don’t want to read anyone’s mind.”

75. The divination result of their relationship is “Two of you are LOVE LOVE couple who fell in love at the moment you met. Your love to each other is so hot that it makes people around starting to avoid you two. In order to maintain this relationship, you have to keep trusting each other.” Ono: Oh hohohoho, fell in love when we first met. Kamiya: We both know this is not true. Ono: Right, we were so nervous at first. Kamiya: Yes. …… *they shifted to the next topic* (Me: Wait wait wait… What about the “love is so hot” part!!?? What about the “people avoid you two” part!!?? They are not denying those stuffs??!!)

76.(DGS ep. 372) Ono was sweating too much in his armpit. Kamiya laughed and said it was terrifying. Ono: Terrifying…? Just get used to it already. This is not something you should feel terrified.

77. In the Freetalk section of “Dora-Mausu Vol. 2”, Ono apologised to Kamiya for going to bar.

78. (DGS ep. 407) They played a game to test whether Kamiya was qualified as a dandy. Kamiya had to guess which is the smell of Mandom among three samples. Ono told Kamiya he put some on his hair before the game started. Kamiya: So the hint is the smell of Ono-kun’s hair right? Ono: Yes. When you were preparing for this section, you should have smelled it from me. Recall it, recall my odour. Kamiya: Oh I got it. You did put a lot on your hair this morning. It’s ok I know it. Ono: That’s right!! (Me: OH MY GOSH Kamiya how did you know it was “THIS MORNING”!!!???)

79. Continue: DGS 407, Kamiya got it CORRECT even he didn’t know what is Mandom a few minutes ago.

80. In Kamiya’s birthday episode, Ono asked “what’s the problem of not being a dandy? After all, you have your own charm points. Kamiya-san is OK to be just Kamiya-san.“

81. Same episode, Ono said “please keep living, together with me” when he presented the birthday cake for Kamiya.

82. Kamiya sobbed a bit at the end of that episode.
