1st illustration was Nagi ,my character, traveled to Iligan City, Lanao del Norte, Philippines to see the beauty of this waterfall called Maria Cristina falls. 

2nd illustration was her thinking if she should visit the falls again.

Ben, Nagi’s brother , and his fiance Crizelda for @filipinoocweek day 4 Awit ng Puso (Song of the Heart). A forbidden love between a peasant and the rich. 

Ben met her in a party were he was a waiter and Crizelda was one of the important guest .Nagi her little sister and her friends are the ones who helped them get together. Even though is Ben not rich he was still a hardworking man but of course society is not merciful towards these lovers as they where torn apart by Crizelda’s parents.

Hello! My name is Eu!! I thought doing this day would be easy, being born and raised in the country, but I guess because I’ve always been really open about my Filipino-ness (see: my urls lol) that I don’t really know how to answer these kinds of stuff when I get asked LOL. 

But basically, there is a lot of stuff that I love about Filipino culture and being Filipino that inspires me a lot. Being alive in the age of the Internet makes it easy to appreciate being Filipino, especially when you live so far away from your motherland.

I’m Iah. I’m full filipino, half tagalog and half ilonggo. Filipino culture means everything to me because it’s literally a part of who I am. I’m gonna put this under a read more because it’s gonna get a little real.

[ Day 05 |  June 14 - Tara na, biyahe tayo! (Come on, let’s travel!)

Dominic’s been to many coastal areas in the Philippines. Boracay, Camarines Norte, Bohol, you name it! However, nothing will top Palawan for him. Notably, being born in the central parts of Luzon, he doesn’t get to see much of his family on his father’s side, which mainly live in different parts of Visayas (with most of them residing in Palawan). There’s really something different about the picturesque, almost emerald waters, the surrounding aquamarine rocks and the cascading waterfalls.

Dominic goes down to Palawan in each annual visit to the Philippines. When he does so, he makes his way to his father’s village in order to light a candle. He’s done this tradition since he first lost him to the relentlessness of Philippines’ typhoons. Dominic wasn’t able to say goodbye then- as that was his first year in the senior division of skating. 

Within every visit for relaxation is a reminder. ]

Are there places in the Philippines they’ve always dreamed of going to? Tell us about it in your work! What would they do there? What did they do? Why did they go? Go wild.

“Yeah… things. I thought if I… I thought it was because I was afraid to lose a friend, to lose someone I trust when everyone else was a stranger. But as it turned out, I think I was afraid I was losing someone–someone more than a friend.”

What happens when you put together two people who are awkward when it comes to the matters of the heart but are also too edgy for your typical love songs tbh.

Anyway. I’m back with Eva! I think 2000s rock/emo songs fit her relationship with Garrus, especially with both of them being pretty rough around the edges. Also, things end tragically for them because Eva dies saving the Galaxy. Meanwhile, in a parallel world, they retired to their tropical planet, living with the 5 kids they picked up along the way.

[ Day 04 |  June 13 - Awit Ng Puso (Song of the Heart)

 “Have you ever been in love? Horrible, isn’t it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up. You build up all these defenses. You build up this whole armor, for years, so nothing can hurt you, then one stupid person, no different from any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life… You give them a piece of you. They don’t ask for it. They do something dumb one day like kiss you, or smile at you, and then your life isn’t your own anymore. Love takes hostages. It gets inside you. Maria loves her friends and those she considers familt memebers very dearly. There isn’t a single shred of doubt about that, but when it comes to love of the romantc sense it’s a toattly diifferent ball game for her. She’s unsure if she has every truely been in love, that or she just hasn’t admit that to herself.

[ Day 04 |  June 13 - Awit Ng Puso (Song of the Heart) 

Although Dominic is currently dating someone in the present (See: Park Chunfan), he’s not going to end up with her in the future. Instead, he’ll end up with another girl named Nakamura Hisui. 

After a mutual breakup with Chunfan sometime in the future (their schedules gave them no time to be with each other, along with the loss of a romantic connection), he ended up taking quite a lot of time for himself. Dominic ended up re-bonding with one of Chunfan’s labelmates- her good friend Hisui. 

They both rekindled their connection in a similar point in life- a standstill in their careers (Dominic was considering retirement due to age and an injury, while Hisui’s group Mohchee disbanded), where they didn’t know what to pursue in their life next. Sure, they’re financially set, but have direction in which to use it.

After bonding, friendship, and time well spent, they both confessed in the middle of the night. Looking at the stars, whispering-

“I don’t know how to spend my future,  but I at least want to spend it with you.”

They became public about their relationship soon after. 

Chunfan, at first hearing the news was elated. She trusted Hisui with Dom’s heart, and vice versa. Besides, she also began seeing another labelmate, and found the timing great.
