A year ago today during this time.. I was in the midst of an emergency surgery, fighting a battle I’d never seen coming.. the one for my own life. Today is my second birthday.. or my “rebirth” as I like to call it.. my second chance at this life. There’s no feeling that could ever come close to knowing God isn’t finished with you here on this Earth yet. I’m healthier, happier, wiser and stronger than ever; I’m a survivor.
