Im very happy with how both of my pieces work together as well as seperately, and the way they are placed opposite each other gives the viewer the opportunity to see these as a pair and as two seperate works. The colouring of both works compliment each other, as well as the overload of imagery in each.

how to print double sided with the same orientation - for contextual portfolio

Things I need to do for hand in:

-make process video

-reprint text bubbles / buy double sided tape and stick these on to the wall

-print artist statement and stick it on the foam board, then on the wall

-paint the sides of the seritonin series so it doesn’t have any brown

-paint some contrast in the green in the palm trees in seritonin (if I have time)

-hang the work in the space and take good photos of it

-finish contextual portfolio and print this off

Finished kawakawa painting. I’ll take better photos of these individual works / the series as a whole once hung in studio. However I like how this looks as a finished painting, and think the colour contrast between the backround, the om signs, and the foreground kawakawa leaves create and interesting dynamic, and I think this makes this particular painting the best for the middle, in between the other works

312 mural - progress shot. I’ll have to finish the car, touch up the top, do a second coat of yellow and outline everything and I’ll be finished

Wednesday plan -

1) Paint coat of white on clouds, up the top to hide the orange lines, and on the yacht/big boat

2) paint first coat of yellow on the 312

3) paint the orange on the parts that were ripped from the wall - paint orange on car

4) paint the powerlines, the blue, the black, the logo on the white, and the car

5) paint second coat of yellow on 312

6) over line everything with black
