Dragon Age says here make this choice, I’m sure it’ll be morally grey for you, you should give it a lot of thought and consider both sides!

#as someone who doesn't get much time to play i'd say 6 months#at least for the twists and end of the game and 'big choices' concerning the companions#i understand ppl can't tag for too long that's annoying#i doubt i'll be able to finish the game after the holidays so i'll probably stop going on tumblr to keep the spoilers away#that sucks to be an adult lol

No Veilguard spoilers Dragon Age because I've fallen for Solavellan but don't have the game yet. 🥺
I started writing something to go with these, but I write like a glacier moves.
Closeup of Solas's face from the third one because it looked so good before the hair sniffing. 😅 My mage Lavellan, Mairah.

i'm not even surprised because, based on the little i've played (i haven't even recruited davrin and emmrich yet, i'm slow lol), i've already noticed notable differences in the dialogue compared to origins or inquisition (i haven't played DA2), particularly in terms of tone. i'm playing in french (well, i was playing in french; i just switched to english), and clearly, the familiarity that comes through in the dialogues, especially with rook, bothered me and took me out of the game's immersion a bit. that's why i switched to english, to mitigate this issue (and also to avoid hearing rook's french voice, ahem). in the previous games, the tone was more formal and not as casual or modern. like when rook talks about solas to morrigan and says 'votr' vieux pote' ('your old pal'), which feels way too modern for a medieval fantasy game like dragon age, in my opinion. so the frequent use of 'okay' doesn't even surprise me anymore.
