Wings sourced from beekeepers dealing with the loss of their hives due to extreme weather, the pieces are made to memorialize the bees.
"A veil lifts between two worlds: light and dark; life and death; individual and union. It is worn in ceremony of transition. It is a fabric of both grief and celebration, made up of a community, a hive." by lucijockel

It's just fundamentally untrue, OP. Sexually reproducing species have dimorphic categories regardless of if humans have words for them or not. Otherwise, sexual reproduction wouldn't exist.
the conclusion you draw from the existence of intersex people shouldn't be "oh, there are more than two sexes," it should be "oh, sex is socially constructed (and we should be calling into question its merit as a construct)"

To the people claiming there were no signs of who Neil Gaiman really was, I have to ask, what would have been one? If writing an essay in defense of child pornography isn't a huge red flag, what is? If writing about young girls happily marrying adult men (Stardust), and adult men fantasizing about kissing young girls (Neverwhere), and young girls being demons who seduce and rape adult men, which is graphically described (Snow, Glass, Apples) doesn't make you even a little suspicious of the author, what would?
Like, you can say you didn't see the signs! That's fine! There are always signs that get missed! If none of them did, no predator would ever get a chance to victimize. And it doesn't make you a bad person to have missed them!
But the number of people insisting there were no signs with Gaiman and that everybody pointing out his depictions of women and girls now are doing so disingenuously is sending me. I think there other men who depict women and girls in similar ways and you don't want to be suspicious of them now, so you're ignoring it when this should be a wake up. Genuinely missing the signs doesn't necessarily say anything bad about you as a person, but wilfully ignoring them does.

im a commuter so i dont have a meal plan and usually i used to just sit outside the cafeteria like a bum and ask my friends to swipe me in when they walked by but this semester i sooo badly want to eat by myself and really get into a better routine of eating on campus but it costs like 250 dollars for commuters to get meal plans whereas it's just billed automatically as a part your room & board cost if you live on campus

i think the explosion of pornography is retaliatory. men can't tolerate the ambiguity of what might be equality, and they experience it as anti-sexual.—interview: Andrea Dworkin talks with Liesl Schillinger (1996)

Something I noticed when I was stripping was that the younger, “hipper,” generally white patrons I came into contact with were by far the most vested in the whole “emotionally invasive performance of enthusiastic consent” thing. They all wanted to hear how I was doing it because I was “empowered” or an “exhibitionist” or just “a slutty sexual deviant that just does this for fun.” Like, I can’t even tell you how many times I actively encouraged this or worked it into a spiel, because nothing kills a sale like a pang of conscience alerting men that maybe this smart, seemingly stable girl doesn’t want to be here. I think that thinking I was “into it” somehow made it easier for them to feel like they weren’t just giant losers paying for sex.
I am entirely convinced that men only care about women being “empowered” by things like sex work because its easier on their ego as consumers, not because they give a shit about our wellbeing. Sex positive feminism is a dream come true for these men - all the benefits of exploiting women as sexual commodities without any guilt or stigma for being a creepy ass john.

Or, like, they think somehow that powerful men raping a little bit is natural and unavoidable, while women need to know their place and keep being "kind" at all times?
for a website that regularly features viral posts about wishing jkr dead it’s sure been quiet about their favourite queer ally being outed as a depraved woman-hating (corrective) rapist

I don't think OP disagrees with that, but I think the post is about something else, the attitude men have of "I bet you would like it if he was hot". Because that attitude has two aspects: first, a creepy or demeaning approach would probably not be appreciated by most women even if the guy was conventionally attractive, and second, if the approach isn't creepy in itself, it's completely normal to enjoy it from someone you're attracted to and not enjoy it from someone you find unattractive. I think OP is specifically talking about the second aspect, while I think you're looking more at the first aspect. Both of the images in the post are also made by men, and I don't think OP wants to give Susan a positive spin on workplace sexual harrassment, what she's talking about is the male idea that (OSA) women are spoiled and selfish for enjoying positive interactions with men they're attracted to.

Crazy how people really hate the idea of women having desires/preferences and see it as some kind of cruel injustice against men. It's impressive how patriarchy constantly churns out these messages marveling at the fact that the concept of attraction/desire might also apply to women. As though it's some strange, infantile phenomenon that a woman might want one person, but reject another. That one man's advances might be silly & funny but another's arousing. When you understand that to desire something, to want something- is an unmistakable sign of active life, vitality and humanity- these messages that frame women's desire as a evil and unruly force will start to make sense to you. It's one of the subtle ways they communicate hostility to any signs of vital life in women.

How can I get as strong as possible without equipment? The gym is so expensive and buying weights is also expensive and my place is so small I don't really have anywhere to put them. Calisthenics maybe?

I don't think I've ever talked about my weight on here. And also like. There are pictures of me on my tumblr. I'm very clearly not overweight. But I guess when insulting a woman, fatness is the worst thing possible to comment on. And what I make a year...? Because lots of people in their early 20's make soooo much money a year but since I'm fat and stupid apparently, I'm an exception to all the 20-year-old millionaires
