C Feign Jr is pleased to Present "Arcadia" March 8th!

C. Feign Jr. Gallery is pleased to present Arcadia, featuring the artwork of Gary Brewer, Kiyomi Fukui , Flora Kao, Pam Posey, Yevgeniya Mikihailik , Tim Musso, and Erynn Richardson. The gallery will hold a public opening reception on March 8th, 2014, from 6-10pm at 5118 York Blvd, Los Angeles, CA. The works selected for Arcadia shed new light on the artistic tradition of creation through direct observation and the artist's relationship to their environment. The exhibition is free and open to the public.  As societies’ ideas about nature change, so does the artist’s approach to representation. These evolving visual depictions help craft a collective consciousness of an ever changing landscape, where the spectator plays a central role in recording the dynamism of a complex series of relationships, as they happen, in the natural world.

Face First; Portraits, 2014 at Namaste Gallery

C Feign Jr. would like to thank everyone that was able to attend our inaugural show at Namaste Gallery in Highland Park!

The exhibition featured the work of Fausto Fernandez, Mike Reynolds, Katherine Rohrbacher, Justin Schaefer, and Camilla Taylor.

Studio visit with artist Katherine Rohrbacher

The artist Katherine Rohrbacher will be showing works in our upcoming exhibit, FACE FIRST: Portraits, 2014.  Mike Reynolds and Camilla Taylor visited Katherine to take a look at her beautiful large scale self portraits.  Her two kittens were super into Mike's shoes.

Camilla Taylor's sculpture "Unravel, B" was selected for the group show "Paperless Society" curated by Denise Kraemer. The exhibition will run through February 23rd, 2014 at the Chaffey Community Museum of Art.
