Lookit me posting to the wrong blog. I swear I know how to use tumblrbrlr.
Figuring out how to draw digitally still, so I did a Gijinka of two of my three cats, Crowley and Aziraphale. They are brothers that I got as kittens, now 3yrs old. Yes they are named after Good Omens, and yes I find it hilarious/awesome that their namesakes are ineffable husbands in canon. Next time I'll put them in Good Omens outfits, I think.
Wheatley is my third cat, and one day I'll finish his gijinka. But he requires ruffles, and I did not have ruffles in me at the time.
Here are the OG's because it would be a sin not to post the cats themselves.
(Edit: ......oops. This was supposed to be on my art blog. Well guys, I have an art blog. feathertigerdoodles.)

Well that didn't last did it 🤣
But the end of October got pretty busy, so I will give myself some grace for not finishing Inktober this year and move forward with posting whatever doodly nonsense comes from my fingers.
Happy 2024.

Day 17: Demon
Some concept art for Enki (also seen on Day 4: Dodge). He's a sort of Ogre, and though he's normally a spicy little fireball of a figure, he can turn into a much larger, beefier form when his powers become too much for him to handle.
Art note: apparently, when I'm 'hurrying' my art (aka catching up on all the days I've missed), I draw headshots. I do love drawing headshots.
But now I'm caught up!
Other than Spicy. I'll get back to that.

Day 16: Angel
This is Coral, Alex's father. Not that Alex has ever met him, or even knows who he is. He's been trapped in a bubble dimension in the In-between since Alex was born. He acted on emotion, a foolish endeavor for beings ruled by logic.
Angels can not break the rules, after all. There are severe consequences if you go against the Code of the Faultless.

Day 15: Dagger
My OC Mene, the sworn enemy of Alex. Determined to kill him for the events of the past, enough that he allowed himself to be transformed by Death while still alive.

Day 14: Castle
They say that the origional dragons formed the world of Estradia. And Centreal, the city ruled by dragons since its founding, is said to have been built on the skull of the first dragon herself.
I imagine this is part of an illustration in a children's book explaining the history of Centreal.

Day 13: Rise
This is Io, Queen of Boondish, blessed by the Bearded Vulture. She runs the one standing city in the wasteland of Boondish. She collects the bones from the remains of creatures that lay in the Boondish lands.
Secret lore: Io is Mikail's older sister. Their mother, the Queen of Nausk, was told by the goddess of Death that she would have a son who would rule the world. So when she instead had a daughter, she ordered the baby to be killed. One of her knights, who had recently lost his wife and daughter in childbirth, stole the baby and ran away to Boondish, where not even the Owl Queen would care to look.
Personal note: I'm going to hate that these are out of order later, but I got stuck on 'Spicy' and was too in my head about it and therefore fell behind on Inktober. So I'll get back to it later, but for now, I need to catch up.

Day 11: Wander
Mikail has traveled a lot, yet he doesn't feel like he's gotten very far.
"But the wind of the plains feel warmer than the winds of the sea. What an exhilaration to feel the difference in your feathers.
Wandering is not always a sense of feeling lost. Sometimes, it's the breath of something new."

Day 10: Fortune
This is Gluuke Dita, commonly called Luke, because it's easier that way. The son of a wealthy merchant, raised with money being the ruling force of his large household. Prove your worth or make up the difference.
He's succesfully done both. But choosing money over everything else leaves one with few friends. At what point is the money no longer worth it?
Might be my Nano this year.

Day 9: Bounce
A newer OC of mine, and Casimir's nephew. Still deciding on his name, I'm debating between Lark and Linos right now.
He's the son of a unicorn and an angel. Half breeds with two mystical parents rarely survive birth, and if they do, they always have some sort of complications. For Lark/Linos, he was born a centaur like creature and can't control his powers enough to change form. His powers are very unstable, in fact, but he's a sweet, bright natured boy who knows nothing of the complications of his birth since Casimir has never told him. He says he is their father and treats them as such.
Fell a little behind in Inktober, but I'll catch up tomorrow.

Day 8: Toad
When I was a kid, we had a motion sensitive light above our garage. Every year, around summer or the end of summer, a bunch of toads would always congregate on our driveway. One would jump, and the light would turn on, causing all the bugs to flock to the light. Then they would fall to the concrete for the toads to gobble up.
They stopped coming when it stopped raining as much. But there's a nature reserve back in the area, so I hope they hang out back there now.

Day 7: Drip
One might think it's lonely guarding a sleeping God.
But Cahir is patient above all else.
And he will wait infallably until his god opens their eyes.
More OCs. This is Cahir, a Wolf who guards the god of life, Aida, and has done so almost all of his life.
Story note, very few people know Aida is sleeping. God's are pretty removed from the majority of the populace, of course, but it's not uncommon for those with magic tendencies to see or speak with gods. But since the last war was between Life and Death themselves, people don't really think it's strange that the two major gods have been pretty quiet the last century.
It would bring up a lot of questions and concerns if people knew Aida has been 'sleeping' practically since the Walls appeared.

Day 6: Golden
"The scroll was brittle and aged, dirty and torn from centuries of travel and damage. The paints had smeared and blurred, the color faded and yellowed with time, as was expected of a scroll over 300 years old. Yet rather than happenstance or natures whimsey, Mikail felt the gods must have stained the painting themselves, and with purposefully tormenting precision. For the grime smeared so perfectly over the man's face, mocking him with such familiar obscurity, he felt the painting could only have been pulled directly from his dreams.
The distinct golden hair was proof enough for Mikail that the man in his dreams was the one painted on the ancient scroll, which should have excited him. But instead, it only infuriated him, for he had never really questioned the mans existence. His dreams and nightmares alike had always been haunted by the blonde, Mikail knew from a young age that he must have existed, must have been important to him in a past life. So rather than bring him joy, the scroll only taunted him, his hard-won clue robbing him once again of what he desired most.
To be able to see, and therefore remember, the man's face."
Might render these on my computer one day, but I'm limiting myself to two colors tops for Inktober. (Besides the map, that didn't count lol)

Day 5: Map
The map of my fantasy world, Estradia.
One day, I'll do better drawings of each countries seals (the little circles on each land). To translate for some of the harder to read calligraphy attempts:
Purple - Nausk
Green - Easdom
Pink - Centreal
L.Blue - Kaufrey
Grey - Boondish
Red - Rakshasa
Orange - Dumuni
D.Blue - Lupita
Boondish doesn't have a seal because it's not so much a country as a barren wasteland that is almost entirely uninhabitable, via a magical catastrophy that basically Chernobyl'd the whole area a few hundred years ago. The continent used to be mostly Rakshasa and a bit of Dumuni, but the event eventually helped spurr Kaufrey to become it's own country. This also caused Rakshasa to start taking more and more of Dumuni, though.

Day 4: Dodge
My OC's Casimir the Unicorn and Enki the Ogre. They're just learning to get along.
Story fact: In my characters world, unicorn horns are naturally very rough and crude looking, like a tree limb. A shaped horn is a sign that the unicorn's horn was shaved, either because they were kept as a pet or to sell the horn dust on the black market. Or both.
So yeah, Casimir is kind of touchy teeheehe'sfine.
