I really like this video. Good, simple, explanation about how to be nice to people. Let’s be nice, people.

Quote
Disabled characters are often seen as symbolizing the triumph of the human spirit, or the freakishness we all feel inside. That may be another reason disabled actors are overlooked—they don’t allow disability-as-metaphor to flourish as easily.

Attention Tumblr!!!
NURSES and other medical professionals, I have an idea for a tumblr blog for us. But I don’t know how to make it happen.
Anybody know? Or does this already exist somewhere?
I’m thinking Grey’s Anatomy Medical Fails or something along those lines.
I’ve recently become addicted to Grey’s Anatomy, which is hilariously unrealistic. In the last few episodes, the physicians were admitting patients to medical floors, doctors were getting blankets and pillows for patients, doctors were changing dressings and inserting IVs, doctors were giving meds, and a team of surgeons called a full code on a palliative patient... Also sometimes the patient is “crashing” with vital signs that are definitely not “crashing.”
Where I work, this doesn’t happen...
I find these moments particularly hilarious and would love to see gifs and stuff of medical fails like this.

Do you think Tina Fey would describe Amy Poehler’s type as “Spin Class Instructor” or?
