He started making his way backstage, hearing the whispers of those who he passed. It didn't take him long before he was face to face with Sonja. "Hello my dear."
The ancient magus bride themed rp (closed rp)

Sonja stood in front of the crowd as she waited to be sold off to whom ever bought her. She felt worthless to the extent that she didn’t see anything better for her existence. Soon the crowd erupted in a fit of whispers as a male entered the room and walked straight to her.
She looked up and her gaze met with another’s. Who was this man?

Phobia walked through the ground, not really minding them. For now he had his sights set on just the women on stage. She would make a perfect student, as long as she didn't croak too soon.
"I'll take her, just name your price.."

The tears caught him off guard and he wondered if he used the wrong meme before hearing her explanation. Afterwards he looked up for his cards to contemplate her off. On one hand, he enjoyed playing cards, they were one of his past times the did daily.
On the other hand...people. That would involve a big thing for him. Depending on the amount judged whether or not he would get twitchy. Twitchy Desmond stole souls without second thought. Five was the limit he could do before get started stealing.
"I like cards. They are very enjoyable and I don't have to worry about anything. And I would join. Just don't be surprised if someone's soul goes missing. I can handle five other living organisms before I start stealing. You are an exception because you're dead inside as you enjoy reminding me. Plus I like you."
Desmond set down a card down in front of Nox before going back to playing Solitare once again. On the front the card said 'You meme the world to me.' The card was black with black with his hand writing. Once opened, an audio would play saying 'This bitch empty, yeet!'
~⏱~
Equinox had two overrides. First, her… adoration for her meme apprentice, then the override she simply called Meme. She wasn’t sure if she should start crying at the joke, or at the fact that there were two meme references, but she cried either way. Golden tears started flowing, actually her blood, but she was smiling at least.
“These tears are Gucci and only for you, but what the fuck. Why are you playing solitaire?”
She had a pause, just to consider playing cards themselves.
“You should join the family for monthly poker and monthly cards against humanity.”

"I find that hard to believe...but ok."
He would rather a studio as opposed to an entire kingdom. Especially an empty studio. The opposite affected Noah, if he wasn't surrounded by other living creatures then he would start making things in droves.
"You've seen your own birth? What it like watching yourself? Did you get the urge to smother it and suffocate the baby. Or is that just me.."

Equinox contemplated over her literal fear in a jar, wondering if this was the right decision. It had took her quite a while to find someone who was able to actually withstand a meeting with the miasma in humanoid form, let alone let it contain it. Luckily, their Jack of all trades was more than bored and happy to help, if only to give a break from one of their projects. Something concerning Hydra this time.
So uh…”
She wasn’t sure of how to go about this. No memes came to mind.
“I got the cryptid. In a jar. I also have instructions for use? Uh… create a portal, place it on the ground on the other side, force off the cork using a long object like a stick, but make sure the jar is on its side facing away. Then close that portal and we should be safe. As long as theres no one on the other side that you don’t want affected. We can observe from the well of time, or the observation pool if you would like. So yeet. Have my fear in a jar and do what you will.”
She was grinning by the end of it, trying to balance on the wheels of her heeleys, without letting the soles actually touch the floor. Harder than it looked.

"Would it be rude of me to call you Merlin or Gandalf? I would rather see the studio home because I am sure Provocate has people and I don't enjoy being around large groups of living people. I get...twitchy and I start stealing."
Desmond was not going to clarify that theft for him meant he would either start accidentally killing people or he would start taking souls.
"Skipper, what was the first meme you saw?"

He walked over the pizzeria and opened the door, holding it for her. Desmond was never one to actively seek relationships. His interested just didn't lie there. Though he didn't mind being dirty minded.

He twirled his hair around his finger while mulling over his new nicknames. It didn't seem to bother him.
"I think both are fine. I will need to think of what to call you as a nickname. If you call me Private I'll have one for you already. I'll call you Skipper."
Desmond looked at the paper before going to grab the paper and unfold it. Looking at the paper and then at Equinox.

Desmond feels like Equinox owning a pizzeria would be amazing but also disturbing. You don't pay with money, you pay with memes. If the meme is good, you get food. If it's bad, you get yeeted. So he told her about the idea. The place would be called 'Mama Memes'.

"I've been called mercy and cruelty so it doesn't really bother me being called cruel. Besides, it's not like you know those people. I do. And I still just dropped a fart cloud on them. How do I do what?"
If anyone asked if he had ever let someone cheek death then he would say yes. He'd turned a blind eye on occasions but, he knew that there was a limit. Cyprus has died a few times and immediately he and Noah brought him back. He would abuse his powers as much as he wanted for his brother.

Desmond huffed and opened the jar before placing it on the ground before making another portal. Though she had a point, although he could see when others died. It was similar to how a headstone labeled a person's life. The year they were born and the year they died. He saw that when he looked at everyone. In some cases there were multiple sets. There was a reason he didn't tell anyone about it, he didn't like it. Seeing when this person or that person would die.
Instead of talking he flicked a card with words on it before stepping through the portal. The portal stayed open until Equinox went through it, when she did the portal would close behind her.
'I must go, my people need me.'

Desmond opened the portal to Haven and stepped through with the jar securely under his arm. He looked around Haven, thinking was a beautiful day. And how much he was going to not miss the place at all.
"And I'm supposed to be any better? You can see when your friends die. I have to claim their souls. Not exactly the way to go about the concept of friendship."
He waited until she arrived on the other side of the portal to open the jar. Since he didn't want to take any chances with it. He liked some of his memories.

He could understand her fear completely, especially given how her eye worked. Desmond could only imagine what she has seen and how it affected her. To see all of it again... his heart went out to her what she's been through. He think of a few things he wouldn't want to forget.
"Equinox, I love about seven livings things. You are the only person aside from my family that I actually like. Your company is enjoyable. The only people on Haven are faction members who support the family members I don't like. There's no one else I want to save from The Lethe.
