oh. my. god.
1,227 of you are following me?
This is so crazy to me; I’ve never had that many followers on anything. I’m super grateful to all of you who took the time to follow me and listen to what I have to say! Would you like to do anything special for it? And if so, do you have any ideas? Send me an ask or DM!
And again, thank you so so so so so much! I hope every last one of you (including those of you reading this, I appreciate you too), a good day/night! <3

Hello everyone! Just popping in to say good luck to all those who are close to starting or have started their fall term/semester! If no one has said it to you yet: I am so proud of you. I wish you all the best! Remember to be forgiving with yourself. Many of you might be doing online instruction. It’s hard doing online school, and it’s difficult to both adjust to and continue staying on top of. This is just one of the examples of the many stressors you might have in your life right now. Maybe these stressors will affect your learning or grades, and that’s 100% okay! Again, I’m wishing you all the best! <3

I'm so sorry to spam you all again. I figured out how to make the more streamline link.
This is a GoFundMe of my top surgery. I have been struggling for so long with dysphoria and it is finally starting to get to the point that it is mentally and emotionally breaking me down. My wife has been incredibly supportive and I just want to be at my best mental health for my child. Thank you all so much.

Things I wish I knew about school
While I’m not even close to finishing my education, I wanted to list some tips that I learned (often the hard way) during my time so far in school. I shed too many tears before realizing some of these things, and if I can alleviate anyone else’s worries, I want to do that! Of course, these are based on my experiences (as a highly-anxious and self-conscious student), so feel free to add your own or offer alternatives to those I list below!
1) Don’t look at your class rank (if possible)/compare GPAs This one is especially true for students who are perfectionists and worry a lot about their academic standing. I feel this is especially true for those who aren’t close to graduating. I wish I could tear away the part high school freshman me’s report card with my class rank, because it made me very, very nervous I would lose my rank. I am sad to say that it made me envious of other people. It was (and is a little still, but I’m working on it) a very toxic mindset that made me preoccupied on something that, at the end of the day, can in no way encapsulate my character, intelligence, personality, or take any of the factors of my life into account. I know a fellow student who is talented beyond belief in writing and jewelry making. She is excellence if I have ever seen it, yet her GPA doesn’t show those layers to her, and cannot show those layers in other students, either. In short: your class rank is not worth your energy, tears, or worrying. You are worth more than your class rank.
2) Don’t be afraid to pursue subjects you’re interested in There’s so much pressure on students to load up on what are deemed to be “good” or “impressive” courses without taking into account people’s interests. Want to go to a trade school or take trade school classes? Do it! Want to take humanities-focused classes? Do it! People’s opinions on these classes aren’t worth much at the end of the day. Explore what interests you and what you believe you would benefit from. That should be one of the main goals when acquiring your education instead of subjective opinions people have on what you should take.
3) Don’t be ashamed to ask for help It’s okay to feel overwhelmed, confused, or lost. People who mock you for it are people who don’t understand how stressful school can be, let alone when paired with other factors in life like family problems, financial struggles, bullying, mental health issues, and more.
4) Don’t be afraid to get “bad” scores or grades Give yourself some breathing room to make mistakes! Do not pressure yourself into an ideal of perfectionism. Making mistakes is a natural, inevitable part of life. By embracing this, you’re doing yourself a great service. I wish I could take back so, so many hours of crying over scores on math tests, end of course grades, and more. Remember, your grades don’t define your intelligence or your worth.
Have a lovely day/night! <3

As fall term will be starting up soon and summer term is coming to a close, I wanted to post a reminder that your grades or GPA does not define you, your intelligence, or your future. It is impossible for a mere letter or percentage to fully encompass all of your strengths or to predict the future. You do not need perfect scores to be smart, talented, creative, etc. If you made a mistake that cost you points or a letter grade, that’s okay. Be gentle, understanding and forgiving with yourself. Give yourself space to grow, to make mistakes, to fail. Remember, the best thing you can get out of education is knowledge and skills to help you understand the world. Not just some letters or a piece of paper (though those are accomplishments you should be proud of!). I wish you all luck on your ongoing and upcoming courses!

Would this be something you would like to see? I would love your input (via asks, direct messages, reblogs, anything). I would like to give this account some direction w/ positivity & informational posts as I have many ideas. Tell me what you think!

hey so uh
Since the referendum in Russia has approved of Putin’s changes to Constituition, letting him stay in power until 2035, redefining marriage as “union of man and woman” and the government literally having talks about banning rainbow and comparing rainbow flags to nazi symbolism, it’s not been great for the LGBT+ community here.
In addition to that, we had the awful “Gay Propaganda” law since 2013 and the number of hate crimes towards LGBT+ Russians has increased greatly since then, and it’s likely to increase even more now.
So maybe consider donating to Russian LGBT Network to help us Russian gays out?
