Thing I thought of

So, let's all agree that Virgil and Deceit have some history. All of us have thought of Virgil being a past-dark side that turned to a light side. So, we think that is how they have a history. Anyway, during "Can Lying Be Good?" Thomas is filmed being nervous. He says, "Hope the year has been going great for you guys so far. Mine has been nice... So far... Up until I MESSED EVERYTHING UP!" and then Patton appears saying " Why, what happened? " Thomas gets scared and says that he did not see Patton rose up. We already know that this Patton is Deceit in disguise. The way we know this is because Virgil does not rise up, he just appears. Maybe that is because of his past and he was not made to ride up like the light sides. Deceit is a dark side and he just appeared as well. This theory may not be true, but Virgil was a dark side who has met Deceit in his past. Virgil was the first to pick up Deceit's presence faster than any of the light sides because they do not know him personally. Virgil probably does. In conclusion, Virgil either is still a dark side of has become a light side. Deceit is a dark side. This on proven by the way they enter the room. Virgil could be lying and trying to hide who he really is.

Virgil’s Fangs Pt:1

Virgil had always been distant with the others. Even after the ‘accepting anxiety’ videos. He never smiled. Ever. And if he thought something was funny he’d cover his mouth before he laughed.

The others thought it was just his insecurities but even after they all talked to him about it he still did it. Which confused Logan and Roman but worried Patton.

“Seriously guys, something could be up with Virgil. I’m the Dad of this group! I would know when something is up with my son!”

“Calm down dear, I’m sure everything will be okay.”

“How could you be so sure, Lo?”

“I’m not necessarily sure, It’s just a hypothesis. Although I am certain he would come to you out of all of us if he needed to talk, my sweet.”

“If you say so, Lo.”

“You two are quite the cute couple, but sitting here on my bed isn’t going to help my Virgil is it?”

“No, I guess not”

Patton shook his head as he wrapped his arms around his boyfriend. Patton and Logan had been dating ever since the Christmas video. Roman decided to confess his love for Virgil after Virgil’s name reveal. Which totally brought Virgil to happy tears as he confessed too.

But now everything felt different. Everything felt wrong. Roman didn’t want to sound so unenthusiastic but, that’s the only way he could think of this situation with his boyfriend.

All of them were stuck in their thoughts until light tapping at the golden door of Roman’s room.

“Ro? C-can I talk to you?”

“Of course my love, I’m coming out now.”

“We know Roman, we’ll stay in here.”

“Thank you Logan”

Roman leaves his room to see Virgil looking down fiddling with his hoodie.

“Virgil. You have no makeup on? What the hell is going on? You’ve been distant with me and the others. Patton has been worried sick! This is the first time you’ve said anything in weeks!”

“I’m s-sorry..”

“I could never stay mad at you, I’m just worried as well. Are you okay?”

Virgil looks up and gives an amused huff of air with a smirk on his face

“There will never be a day that I’m okay. I represent Anxiety, fear, and I contain all of Thomas’s self conscious thoughts. The day that I’m okay is a day that will never come.”

Roman looked legitimately hurt by that until he was hugged by Virgil.

“But, I’ve always been okay when I’m with you”

Roman smiled and hugged Virgil back. Roman leaned down to whisper in Virgil’s ear

“I love you”

Virgil shivered and almost smiled but he buried his face in his lovers chest before he could do so. Virgil’s voice was muffled but Roman could still hear the faint

“I love you too”

“Oh no, none of that hiding your face thing. We’re gonna get you to smile!”

Virgil shot his head up quickly

“We?”

“Patton, Logan! Time to get some explanation!”

Patton ran out of Roman’s room and ran into Virgil’s arms. Virgil shocked wrapped his arms around Patton quickly to prevent the father figure from falling. Logan and Roman were highly amused by Virgil’s instinct to protect the childish Dad.

“I’ve missed you so much Kiddo!”

“Uh, I missed you too…”

Virgil let’s Patton go slowly making sure the Dad was stable enough to stand on his own. Patton kept hugging Virgil’s midsection which Logan and Roman thought was cute.

“P-Patton…”

“Yeah Kiddo?”

“C-can’t b-breathe…”

Patton immediately let Virgil go and he held his sons arms as Virgil almost fell over from the close call of him passing out.

“Sorry kiddo!”

Virgil was breathing heavily as he stuck a thumbs up Patton’s way.

“Baby? You okay?”

“T-think so.”

Logan walked over and checked Virgil out to make sure he was okay, Logan nodded to the other two letting them further know he was really okay.

“Virgil.”

Everyone looked up at Patton who used the emo’s name instead of the common nickname he always had used when addressing the others. (Except Logan)

“Y-yes P-Patton?”

“What made you avoid us? Avoid me…?”

At the last part Patton sounded really heartbroken which made Virgil tear up as he tried to justify himself, But there was no way he was getting out of this one.

“I… I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to hurt you! I didn’t mean to… Never mind. It’s not like I can justify my actions anyways. I’ve always been a lousy excuse for a side…”

Everyone was shocked at Virgil’s words and stared as he broke down. Roman recovered immediately and ran to his side. Rubbing circles on his lovers back and whispering claiming things to him.

Patton cried with Virgil and Logan was immediately doing the same thing Roman was doing to Virgil. It was a chain reaction. Patton was first to calm down. Following along not long afterwards was Virgil.

“I’m sorry..”

“You’re fine. We could tell you’ve been stressed lately and our constant nagging brought you over the edge. We’re sorry”

“Don’t apologize. You wouldn’t have to nag if I wasn’t such a sorry excuse of a human being… If I even am that anymore…”

The last part brought everyone to look at him. Under the burning gaze of their eyes he backed away slowly and into the arms if Roman. He jumped away with a yelp and starting running.

“Woah, what just happened Lo?”

“I have no clue dearest…”

“Well after him! Logan and Patton go left I’ll go right!”

“Affirmative!”

“Aye aye captain!”

With a giggle from Patton they were off. Virgil saw Patton and Logan blocking him off on left. He made a sharp right and into Romans arms again. This time Roman knew better and picked him up quickly. Virgil started kicking and flailing his arms around trying to get Roman to let go.

“Virgil. Enough. This has to stop.”

Virgil called down instantly at Patton’s Stern voice with a nod he went limp and gave up leaving Roman to hold him bridal style. They all walked to the common room and sat him on the couch. Roman wrapped his legs around Virgil’s waist and sat facing his lover.

“Hmm.. I like this seat. A lot better than the couch I must say.”

Virgil blushed and looked away.

“Virgil?”

“Yeah smarty pants?”

“I see you’re back to your old self when it comes to name calling.”

Roman and Patton chuckled.

“Anyways, is there something that we could help you with?”

Virgil looked him in the eyes as stern as he could.

“No.”

The harshness in his voice took everyone by shock.

“Virgil let us help you!”

“You can’t Roman!”

“Let us try kiddo!”

“I’d prefer you not to. Don’t want you getting hurt because of me. I can handle this. Just stay out of it!”

“That’s it! I’ve had enough!”

Roman was instantly on top of Virgil holding hid arms above his head as he straddled the emo nightmare’s hips.

“Logan, sit on his legs. Take off his shoes.”

“Affirmative.”

“Patton, hold his arms for me.”

“Hehe, alrighty!”

Virgil was mortified. He knew what was coming and knew his big secret would be revealed! But it was three against one! There’s no way he could win. Roman snapped his fingers and Virgil’s hoodie came off. Virgil could hear his heart thumping loudly.

“Virgil? Baby, are these cuts?”

“Not from me…. I swear. I promised you I’d never hurt myself again and that I’d come to you if I felt like I needed to. But I didn’t, these aren’t from me.”

“Who are they from?”

“No one.”

“Damn it Virgil… You need to talk to me baby.”

“I’d rather not. I said I can handle it.”

“It seems you cannot handle it if you’ve been hurt so many times”

“Shut up calculator watch!”

“Kiddo please…”

“No Dad. I’ve had about enough of this!”

“If you won’t do it this way. You’ll do it my way.”

“Eh? What are you going on about Princey?”

Awe thanks! My dog has helped me so much by being there. I mean he's a dog so he doesn't understand but it's comforting when he's there! (His name is Rex by the way. He's a Boston terrier)

I try to write my best. I have very high expectations for the fics I wrote depending on how hard I work on it and sometimes they don't make the cut. But I try and I will keep going!
