The scene when Sasuke leaves the village of Konoha. Sakura, the heroine, stops him - and shouts “I love you” at him. Other Q: Were the characters’ romances also decided in advance? Kishi: I didn’t keep it in mind that much because I wanted to go with the flow (of the story). I drew (the story) while contemplating whether Sasuke and Sakura will end up together or what. I didn’t put Sakura in the heroine’s position anyways. Although Naruto is special as the protagonist, the others were equal and not categorized as main or minor. (The romances) were decided on how the characters will act as the story (proceeds). But halfway through I also thought that Naruto and Sakura were probably not that (not right). Somehow I did decide on (them/the romances) at a rather early stage. Source

The article says that she was literally begging Kishi to write about it. To which Kishimoto apparently nodded and answered with ‘Certainly, people are interested in Sasuke’s side… I’ll be thinking about various things’. Then he said very earnestly that he wanted Sakura to be happy, since he’s only been making her experience painful things until now. Source

Day 1 | Vampire “I want to Taste You” 🔞 Vampire Flower
Memories of that night come flooding back every year around the day the massacre occurred. Memories of his family accused of committing travesties against humans. Crimes they have never committed. The Uchiha were an old vampire family, pure bloods, royalty, rulers of the undead. They normally kept to themselves to practice their ancient ways, but followed the treaties that were put in place by the Senju, promising they would not harm humans. Not once have they harmed others, unless provoked.
Rumors spread throughout the land that the Uchiha had killed a Senju, a declaration of war sprung upon them, the treaty was not more, and they went into hiding, only to be discovered months later, a week after Shisui’s death.
His clan never saw the slaughter coming, they were attacked during the blood moon, the night before his eight birthday. Sasuke was the only one who escape the massacre, left alone to wander the Earth. Hiding from those who want him dead.
As years went one, as he grew older, he learned how to blend in with society. To adapt. To pretend to be normal, but that was never easy with the constant need for blood. He conditioned himself to not have to feed once a month or longer. To hide who he truly was, a creature of the night.
Keeping the Hunting Guild off his back was of great importance. Posing as a college student studying medicine in Konoha University was the easiest way to get access to blood, also one of his favorite roles to play. He enjoyed learning about the world, how society has changed. It helps him adapt, to no slip up but his cravings have been difficult lately—ever since her laid eyes on his pretty pink-haired classmate. Her scent was intoxicating.
Sasuke heard the chair next to him be pulled out. He knew instantly it was Sakura, her floral scent gave her away.
“Good morning, Sasuke-kun.” Sakura smiled brightly.
“Sakura.” Sasuke looked at the annoying women who has caught his attention. He studied her appearance, she was dressed in a white sundress, that hugged her curves. Her bright emerald eyes, alluring as always.
“Are you ready for today’s exam?” She rested her hand on her chin, not taking her eyes off Sasuke, entranced by his beauty. He was the perfect man.
“Hn…” His gaze wandered to the pendant that was around her neck. Sasuke’s eyes narrowed when he recognized the symbol. She was one of them. A hunter, but not just any hunter, one that belong to the Senju clan. He quickly turned away from Sakura as rage started to boil in the pit of his stomach, ready to erupt, he could no longer stay here, he needed to escape. He needed to get away from Sakura before his animalistic side took control.
Sakura heard Sasuke chair clatter on the floor. She watched him cover his mouth as he ran from the room, leaving his belongings behind. Everyone’s eyes were now on her, upset that she scared off the most popular boy in the University. She sighed as she slowly rose to her feet, gathering Sasuke’s belongs, following toward an empty, abandon classroom.
Slowly she opened the door, searching for him, he was her target. The Uchiha that escaped an event that never should have happened. Lies about the Uchiha spread by a man who hated vampire, a man who set up the Uchiha, Danzo. Lady Tsunade tasked her to find him, so they could compensate the centuries of pain the lone Uchiha felt.
The Hunter’s Guild has been searching for him for years once they learned the, but the photo in their database is of a child, not a young man. A young man who has been evading them for centuries.
“Sasu…” Her back was slammed against the door. A hand wrapping around her neck, a cold, stone hard body pressed against her. She looked into his eyes, finally meeting his gaze, crimson, glowing in the dark classroom.
“Hunter…” Sasuke hissed as he locked the door, he would not allow her to escape.
“Sasuke-kun…” She continued to stare at him with her alluring emerald eyes, how could someone who look so delicate, so innocent, be a part of the organization that kill his family.
“Why did you have to be a part of the Hunter’s Guild!” Sasuke growled as his gripped tighten around her neck. “I thought I was incapable in finding a mate but the moment I laid my eyes on you I know I had to make you mine. Why did you have to be the enemy of my kind. Why did you deceive me Sakura! WHY!”
Sakura was surprised that Sasuke was attracted to her. He always came across as someone who had no interest in such relationships, he is cold, aloof, uncaring of those around him—someone not capable of love.
Sakura has read about vampires in the archives of the Hunting Guild, there were many documented accounts, what occurs during the mating process. When a vampire finds their mate, they need to drink their blood during sex to complete the ritual, if they don’t, they will lose their minds, reject the blood of those who are not their mate. Slowly being poisoned by the one thing that kept them alive.
“Answer me!”
Sakura lifted her hand, wrapping it around Sasuke’s wrist, hoping he would loosen it so she could speak.
“Sas…” she gasped.
Sasuke loosened his grip, glaring at the women he needed to survive, “Choose your words carefully, Sakura.”
“I am not here to hurt you Sasuke-kun.”
“Lies…”
“I am not lying to you Sasuke, please believe me. I want to help you.”
Sasuke stared at Sakura, her pulse did not falter as she spoke, she was being truthful. “You cannot help me, no one can.”
“You need my blood, right…”
“You should not offer me such things, Sakura. I may not be able to control myself if we do what is forbidden.”
“That is a choice you cannot make for me, I want this.” Sakura staired into Sasuke's crimson eyes. “I want you!”
“You shouldn’t.” Sasuke leaned forward towards his neck; his fang grazed her skin but did not puncture. “Because once we start, I will not be able to hold back.”
“Then don’t hold back!”
Sasuke sunk his fangs into Sakura’s neck, a shock of pleaser filled his body, never expecting her blood to taste so good, it was sweet, but not too sweet.
“Sasuke…” Sakura moaned in pleaser as he drank from her. She knew he needed more, not afraid that there was no turning back once they engaged on sex. Sakura slid her hand into Sasuke’s silky black hair, pulling his face closer to her neck, enticing him to drink more.

Other Q: Were the characters’ romances also decided in advance? Kishi: I didn’t keep it in mind that much because I wanted to go with the flow (of the story). I drew (the story) while contemplating whether Sasuke and Sakura will end up together or what. I didn’t put Sakura in the heroine’s position anyways. Although Naruto is special as the protagonist, the others were equal and not categorized as main or minor. (The romances) were decided on how the characters will act as the story (proceeds). But halfway through I also thought that Naruto and Sakura were probably not that (not right). Somehow I did decide on (them/the romances) at a rather early stage. Source

“Mama…” Sarada hurried down the hall towards her mother, hoping to learn the truth.
“Sarada, what’s wrong!” Sakura asked as she entered her chamber in the palace. She has been doing research so she could help Sasuke from afar. He was traveling through the realms in searching for clues of the threats of Otsutsuki that still lingered after fighting them years before.
“Does papa, love us?”
“Of course, he does, he is just doing important work for the emperor. Our feelings are connected no matter what realm we are in. We always find out way back to each other.” Sakura kneeled in front of her daughter. “You don’t need to worry, your father…Sasuke.” She rose to her feet when she saw her husband behind her daughter, clenching a wound on his side. His blood dripping onto the palace floor.
“Sakura, get the…” Sakura hurried forwards and caught Sasuke before he collapsed. His blood staining her pink dress.
“Papa!” Sarada cried, not expecting to see her father in such a state. He was strong, unbreakable, not someone who would injure easily. What could have happened?
“Sarada, please go find Naruto and inform him of your fathers return. Tell him I brought him to the infirmary.” Sakura placed a hand on Sasuke’s cheek, he was running a high fever, hoping she would be able to save him in time.
Sarada raced down the hall, towards the throne room, in search of the emperor, tears streaming down her face. She came to a stop when she spotted Mitsuki holding Boruto back.
“Why can’t I see my stupid old man!” Boruto yelled.
“He is in an important meeting and…” Shikamaru eyes darted to Sarada who stood behind the two boys, tears in her eyes. He knew something must have happened for Sarada to be in such a distressed state. “What is it?”
Boruto and Mitsuki turned and saw Sarada standing there, wondering what has happened.
“Papa, he is back, but…”
The doors to the throne room suddenly opened, Naruto emerged, ignoring the elders scolding him from ending their meeting so abruptly. He raised an eyebrow when he saw the crowd outside, wondering what had happened. Was this because of Sasuke? He had sensed his magic not too long ago, it was weak, almost like it was dying out.
“Uncl…” Sarada spot herself from calling the emperor Uncle. She was in the presence of many important people and could not show her close relationship to the king. The Arcane High Council disappointed when they learned of the union between the Magician and the Priestess, they returned from traveling the realms with a child, but not any child, theirs. That it was frowned upon that two powerful beings would have a forbidden affair. Not asking the High Council if they could marry. The Arcane’s were protectors of the realms. Their jobs extremely important to make sure their world remains in balance.
“Sarada, is everything alright?” Naruto asked.
“Papa, he came back hurt…” Sarada looked at Uncle Naruto. “He…”
“Don’t worry I am sure Sakura-chan will heal him up.” Naruto smiled brightly, “Why don’t you run along with Boruto and Mitsuki.” Naruto looked at the kids, he knew that visiting Sakura and Sasuke too soon would not be wise. They have not seen each other in months, knowing how they are, they will not be able to keep their hands off each other.

“No, buts, run along you three.”
“How long should we wait?” Shikamaru asked as he looked at Naruto with his arms crossed.
“Give them a half hour.”

Sasuke looked at his wife as he watched her heal his injuries. The green glow of her magic brought him comfort as he sat on the bed, stripped of his robes, his chest bare. “Sakura…”

“Teme, I hear you have information for me.” Naruto asked as he watched Sasuke reached into his pack on the ground.
“I found ruminates of the Otsutsuki, in the ice dimension where Ōtsutsuki Castle is located. I am unable to read the content of the scroll with my Rinnegan, the information is encrypted and needs to be deciphered.”
“I see, we will send this to the Cipher team.” Naruto pocketed the scroll and looked between Sakura and Sasuke, her noticed a bruise forming on Sakura’s neck, “You should rest and enjoy some time with your family.”
“I will, it is nice to be home, even if it is for a little while.” Sasuke knew once the information was decoded, he would have to embark on a journey through the realms once more.

One thing I love about Team 7 is that they're all bitchy and can be pretty cruel with their words when they want to.
Most of the Konoha-12 teams have at least one member that's gentle and softens the abrasive effect of the other members of the team: Hinata, Choji, Rock Lee... Don't get me wrong, they can be bitchy sometimes.
Sometimes.
The interesting thing about Team 7 is that they are all assholes. Looking back at the Classic, none of them had friends, not really. Maybe a rival, but a friend? They were lonely and stubborn and stupid to no end. Kakashi told them first thing first he hated them and as much comedy as it was, I think it was a reference to this.
They were mean. It you ask me, the role of the gentle teammate goes to Sasuke. Putting his quest for vengeance aside, he tried to be respectful as much as he could, had a good relationship with both Naruto and Sakura, he even kept his mouth to himself most of the time if unprovoked.
If he hadn't had so much trauma, maybe in one of the not massacre aus, I bet he would have been the softer of the three. Because Sakura tries to play the part, but it's never specified why she feels she must keep her personality locked inside her head. Naruto is sweet too, but he has no filters and there's no way his honesty wouldn't be a problem.
Then comes Sai and really? It's a combination of Sasuke's trauma and Sakura's personality and Naruto's bluntness. He's genuinely so so funny because he fits Team 7 so perfectly.
They were giving people mean nicknames and rejecting suitors based on their looks and eccentricity and calling out people on their trauma like???
The biggest menace was their mouths and their judgy tendencies.
