i couldn't lay a finger on it until now but i don't like that in dd2, all the fonts are those medieval/gothic-inspired serifs. it's hard to read quickly. in dd1 for various fonts for actual meaty stuff, they used Ubuntu or something similar (an iconic font!), and they use gothic-styled fonts only for decorative purpose instead of everywhere
